The dish drainer turned floating shelf is a fine idea! I'll be using that, so thank you. It could also be a great shelf for my iPad, its travel cover and wireless keyboard. Great IKEA hack, my friend!
WOW just WOW,, each and everyone of these transformations are fantastic, you're such an inspiration, absolutely love all of your ideas in this video and couldn't possible pick a favourite, they're all beautiful. Well done ❤
I think that the converted dish drainer could be used as a bedside shelf. Attach a small flat piece of wood from a hardware shop (or a small wooden chopping board, if you've one that's no longer useful)to the top, for a drink and bedside lamp. A clip on one would be good, to save space. Then, all the bedtime reading books slot underneath. I wouldn't use the double-sided tape, though; it's so strong that it can pull off the paint and, even, plaster when you remove it. It's a good way to make use of something you no longer want for its original purpose.
I stained it, and actually made it look cute. Almost as decor piece. Also I now keep all of my remotes, books I currently read and my glasses on the part I weaved, so there is a huge improvement for me 🥰
I saw one lady turn the stool into a seat at the dining table- her teenage daughter loved it. A great way to hide a step stool as a plant stand or side table- since I’m building a tiny home, I’m planning to use this idea, rather than have an ugly folding step ladder inside.
May I ask which sanding maschine you use? I've seen its from parkside... but do you have a number? I'm searching for such a long time for a powerfull machine like this. Thank you 🤗💕
I've tried the last hack, but it doesn't work. The books are falling out. It doesn't matter if they're thick or thin, hard or soft cover, they just don't want to stay in place. So, it is really hard to believe that your books just keep standing like that. 😢
@@LostButNotFound01 I think there is just one, you are right. But I don't understand why it doesn't work 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe your books are bigger or something like that, but I just tried it out with larger books abd it still works on mine. I really don't know.. 😞
Hi there. I think I knew what's happened actually. U used the same IKEA stuff but your book doesn't stay still. I think there's a problem with your wall...the thickness of the wall not even from top to bottom...looks like it's thick on the top n slightly thin to the middle and the bottom. That's why your books always drop. My advice....u can put a little anti slippery mat glued on the stick... Good luck! 😅
The bookshelf idea is a WOW!!!
So glad you like it 🥰

You better use more than just command strips or tape. You need to screw that to the wall so weight isn’t an issue.
Love all of these Mon, especially the book shelf!

I don’t understand the stool thing. What is the point of this ‘improvement’? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I stained it, and actually made it look cute. Almost as decor piece. Also I now keep all of my remotes, books I currently read and my glasses on the part I weaved, so there is a huge improvement for me 🥰
I think it would work well in a bathroom as a bath stool. Especially if you already have the stool but don’t use it like you used to.
@@lillywildflower yes! I agree 🙌 I never used the stool before because it really looked old. Now I can find so many uses 🥰

I liked the bookshelf idea. Do you have any other for seamless bookshelves?
I've seen people use dedicated shelves for books, that make it look like they float on the wall, but I haven't tried them out
Loved them all Mon , great ideas , and Mars is so beautiful x

Great ideas! I'm going to do the shelf (with leftover cane) first!!

The first two feel a bit too try-hard, but the dish-rack-turned-bookshelf with just a little bit of tape is really really neat.

Interestingly, for the bookshelf, you only have books in Russian, which means it's not your idea, but...
It's not Russian, it's Macedonian, my native language 🥰🇲🇰
I've tried the last hack, but it doesn't work. The books are falling out. It doesn't matter if they're thick or thin, hard or soft cover, they just don't want to stay in place. So, it is really hard to believe that your books just keep standing like that. 😢
😲 why are they falling? Do you have the exact same plate holder I have? Maybe yours is a shorter one.. my books are still standing 😔
