@@mma__4_everHe's not awful, especially at stopping takedowns and scrambling to get up, but, even in recent training footage, he looks awkward when he's underneath a guy who has a secured position. I think the years of striking have instilled movement patterns that aren't very conducive to smooth grappling. Dricus is a little clunky on the ground too, but his pressure is crazy, and I'm not sure Izzy gets up without a serious struggle if Dricus actually manages to get him down and settles into a stable position like half guard or side control. I'm pretty excited for this one. I'm slightly leaning toward Dricus through grappling and aggression, but I won't be shocked at all if Izzy completely outclasses him with movement and distance striking. I hope it goes at least a couple of rounds either way.
Dricus is always THERE. Either trying a takedown, rushing you, or just inviting your strikes range in range. He can take a lot but alway gives back more and KEEPS GOING. Someone WILL crack him hard enough one day to slow him down or stop him, but until then, he’s a brutal, exhausting challenge.

Most fighters try to stablish one position and one technique while Dricus just keep mixing them one after another and always with aggression. We should praise effectiveness as good technique instead of technique that just "look pretty".
Unironically the best style for mma
He’s the most elite SPAZZ ever
He's not as technical but his constant grinding pressure reminds me of Cain Velasquez.
His endurance with all that muscle mass is incredible.
the homie who button mashes but it works
I yelled “just win” last night, I was in disbelief.
Bro also has 76 inch reach. Long ass arms with that much sting is another reason he's so dangerous.
This is the scrapiest fighting I've ever seen. There is absolutely nothing clean about his style
I wonder what his sparring looks like
@@benjaminwelkens8118If scrappy means you get to stay champion and beat all other clean looking fighters at the top, then so be it😂
@@GTRKT-qr5sf yeah man i agree. he's beating the best guys out there so good on him.
Some can call it random but it's really just hazardous defense
DDP haters "just cope" videos
I would love to see how does dricus look in the UFC PlayStation game 😂
Ddp beats adesanya thru grappling
izzy can grapple much better than you think
@@thefranken-thing me too, everyone saying izzy gonna ko him but sleeping on ddp, I would say ddp has the edge
Well
Well
His style is helped greatly by being physically invincible.
Hard work beats talent because Dricus has no talent, but he works hard
„Random bullshit GO!!!“
I doubted this guy for so long but last fight against Izzy I voted for him
A tank that just swings aimlessly, plus a chin made of titnium plus a maxed out cardio that's ddp for ya. He'll be champ for a long time
Dricus is always THERE. Either trying a takedown, rushing you, or just inviting your strikes range in range. He can take a lot but alway gives back more and KEEPS GOING.
Someone WILL crack him hard enough one day to slow him down or stop him, but until then, he’s a brutal, exhausting challenge.
He is such a tank
Dricus loves to spam the "WIN" button, in his fights.
Dricus “Why I Outta” Du Plessis
Alex and DDP exposing the entire sport of MMA 😂😂.
He fights like you fight in a street. Doesn’t follow the point game
His stance and movement 😂
He literally just fights like a mad man in every fight the pace is always frantic
DDP fights like a create-a-character on UFC 5
he fights like an uncoordinated toddler... i love it
Bro fights like hes from the UFC in 2009. Just pure athleticism and toughness. Kinda like a preswnt day Forest Griffin 😂
He fights like he doesn't know how to fight😂😂
He's brutally strong for his weight class. There's that famous clip circulating where he falls backwards while grappling an opponent. It didn't work that time, but he's done that move many times, successfully. It's literally a kind of arm-trap suplex.
He fights like an early UFC era guy
