Man that fight was carnage. I am probably one of the few that still thinks Till is a bit better than he has shown and DDP winning this with no nose and after gassing hard is impressive. And who can possibly dislike DDP as a fighter? Every fight is bananas.
His striking looked really crisp in the second round landed some great counters especially that knee to the body and a couple great step in elbows from range , timing was great just can’t defend a single takedown 😂 a lot of those takedowns in the 2nd were desperation shots on Till and they still almost all landed
To be honest, Dricus fights way better when he's gassed. It's strange, but it makes him more measured, and his strikes become more accurate. Compare that to when the fight first starts; he overextends on every strike and throws everything with intent to kill which leads to him whiffing a lot.

Obviously all of our fighters are on steroids as well, but they have to cycle off of most things like a month before testing.
@monarch1651 you're pulling everything you just said out of your ass. Where's your proof? The US leads the world in research pharmaceuticals. If there's anybody that would be coming out with human genome modification PEDs it would be the US. The closest thing we have is myostatin inhibitors and they're complete bullshit
@monarch1651 maybe he's just in an area where USADA can't visit unless there's alot of notice? Look at Paulo Costa, the dude showed a whole supplement closet, and then "special supplements" made by a chemist in Brazil. He might as well of said "These are steriods USADA can't test for". Costa has also been suspended for using Stomach meds that are banned because they can mask the tests.
Till is a natural MW; DDP is a massive MW. Till walked around a little north of 200lbs in between camps at WW and had horrible weight cuts. DDP is probably walking around @ 220 or so himself in between camps, like Paulo Costa. I think Till and DDP are both around 6'1 but you can see who's natural for the weight class and who's cutting massive amounts of weight.
DDP is curious, he is slow and awkward but he's a kind of bulldozer, he'll happily eat a shot to land one of his sledge hammer hands and it works for him. I honestly think if he gets the fight with izzy he'll make light work of him
I haven't seen this fight for a long time. Darren did a lot better than i remembered! And DuPlessis was definitely tired. Nothing to do with noise problems. His whole body was struggling!
Not only MMA but his diet. Had he stayed at 170 I think he’d have a better career. He got too heavy and fat at 185 which put even more strain on his already shot knees. Also would have loved to see him switch to a CKB or even Kill cliff. So much wasted potential.
DDP's secret is he walks back or when he gets knocked back and hurt, he launches forward or rebounds really quick with a flurry or shoot. He's basically luring people to move forward and when he sees an opening he explodes. It catches his opponents off guard, because they feel they are in control until the explosion.
So many grappling scenarios where you see Till get 40% through the right sequence, and then just stop. Like watching kids with 2 years of wrestling starting to get it, but not quite.

Till can take a hit I’ll say that around the 3:02 mark, he’s able to talk to the ref, and take these bombs from DDP to the back of the ear and the side face, while still keeping somewhat of a base, insane.
Agree completely. RW is probably the best #1 in the UFC right now, other than Adesanya (Which you can argue he also beat in that second fight) the rest of the division is so far below him. Du Plessis will need a very lucky win against RW to get the title shot.
Well he’s facing Whittaker soon so we’ll see soon enough how he fares against a well rounded guy he was getting pieced up by till in this fight so I’d say he’s not going to do well against Whittaker
This fight has actually aged extremely well indeed, I am not what you would call a DT fan but credit where credit is due given just how far DDP has now gone in the ufc.
I know they don't wrestle much in England, but Till really needs to work on keeping his hips forward and down, pushing on his opponents body and shoulders to keep them back, and sprawling back with his legs. I would have thought Khamzat would have helped fix this weakness in Till.

Worst take down defense in the history of the UFC and has literally no idea about ground fighting not to mention terrible defense on the feet.... amazing he got this far, speaks volumes about his offensive striking

Dricus manages to consistently look amateur yet still win convincingly
Who's here after Till trying to coach Adesanya on how to beat Du Plessis
Honestly if Adesanya hit him with the shots Darren did he most likely will finish him
On the feet till looked the best more then anyone else dricus has fought he just got manhandled on the ground
I'm here after his advice didn't work😂
DuPlessis is the first guy in the ufc that I can say sucks but is good lol. Idk how to explain it. man fights like a new guy joined a gym but some how gets it done.
He's a weird fighter

If Till puts it together he's still the most dangerous MW in the UFC.

Man that fight was carnage. I am probably one of the few that still thinks Till is a bit better than he has shown and DDP winning this with no nose and after gassing hard is impressive. And who can possibly dislike DDP as a fighter? Every fight is bananas.
DDP can overwhelm Shawn Strickland in the first 2 rounds. However, in the latter rounds Shawn can definitely finish him imo.
Esta pelea fue mejor de lo que recuerdo ahora veo porque se llevó el bonus de pelea de la noche
100% 😂
Till has such good moments but he always comes short lately
Yeah lately, like the last 5 years
Sure, 1 second of great moments every 2.5 fights
This comment sounds like my sex life
His striking looked really crisp in the second round landed some great counters especially that knee to the body and a couple great step in elbows from range , timing was great just can’t defend a single takedown 😂 a lot of those takedowns in the 2nd were desperation shots on Till and they still almost all landed
When you consider where both guys career has gone since this. You’d say Till should be fairly proud of his performance here.
😂 fairly fairly
Darren should not have walked away from the UFC. I love watching him, the elbows, the left hand, Just wish his take down defence was a little better
He had one of the prettiest 1-2s and step in elbows. Wish he stayed at welterweight.
To be honest, Dricus fights way better when he's gassed. It's strange, but it makes him more measured, and his strikes become more accurate. Compare that to when the fight first starts; he overextends on every strike and throws everything with intent to kill which leads to him whiffing a lot.
I'm gunna go out on biggest limb ever and say he's taking steroid and has no boxing or even good wrestling tbh.... I'm not gunna lose my imaginary job at UFC and not gunna go court for slander so I'll just say it now...
What you think the chances are? Look how he just bounced off the cage, tired and nearly knocked the arena over, as well as Till, pretty much by accident
@TheTyroofToriyama huh?
@@bryanadkins2944when he fought Whittaker it looked like two big strong guys, one of which was still on a cycle. Idk what pharmaceuticals the Chinese, south Africans, and Russians have access to that the rest of the world doesn't yet but I assume it has something to do with drugs targeted to the specific person's genome.
Im not a big fan of DDP but without a doubt he is the best fighter ive ever seen while being tired. I cant wait to see him fight Strickland & Alex.
Loved the sportsmanship. This is sadly being replaced with hatred in other sports.
It's crazy but to me Till always looked like a massive welterweight but he looks like a pretty small middleweight
I honestly think if he gets the fight with izzy he'll make light work of him
Well predicted ..one of the few that can recognize talent .
I haven't seen this fight for a long time. Darren did a lot better than i remembered! And DuPlessis was definitely tired. Nothing to do with noise problems. His whole body was struggling!
I mean there's loads of noise, that's without dispute. 😊

I never watched this fight till now I think Sean takes the win ddp is good but I think too wild while Sean will walk him down
How good would Till be if he only took MMA more serious… it’s insane
Not only MMA but his diet. Had he stayed at 170 I think he’d have a better career. He got too heavy and fat at 185 which put even more strain on his already shot knees. Also would have loved to see him switch to a CKB or even Kill cliff. So much wasted potential.
Видно что Тилл лучше чем оппонент в плане ударки,плохо что Хамзат его бороться не научил и защите от тейкдаунов.
в 3м раунде Тилл много пропустил в стойке
Till has never been the same since masvidal starched him
Every time till got taken down he flopped like a damn fish wtf is wrong with bro
Highly entertaining fight, both of these guys gave it 100. Shoutout to them both
DDP's secret is he walks back or when he gets knocked back and hurt, he launches forward or rebounds really quick with a flurry or shoot.
Darren's lack of grappling ability lost him this match, it even afforded him the proverbial 10-8 round.
Mf is the most disappointing fighter
Till's lack of training is what lost him the fight. There were so many times in the second round that a trained and strong Darren Till would have sniped him.
Spent all that time with Chimeav and his camp and his wrestling arguably got worse.

Till just doesn't throw kicks like he use to. When he first started, that was the one thing people were so scared of, then he'd catch ya with that big left he has...he is just nervous. I’ve never seen Till win a fight.

Till can take a hit I’ll say that around the 3:02 mark, he’s able to talk to the ref, and take these bombs from DDP to the back of the ear and the side face, while still keeping somewhat of a base, insane.
With a gatekeeper like RW Adesanya is going to have problems finding others fights for a while.
Agree completely. RW is probably the best #1 in the UFC right now, other than Adesanya (Which you can argue he also beat in that second fight) the rest of the division is so far below him. Du Plessis will need a very lucky win against RW to get the title shot.
If DuPlessis was in there with a good striker that actually wrestled he would've got worked.
Well he’s facing Whittaker soon so we’ll see soon enough how he fares against a well rounded guy he was getting pieced up by till in this fight so I’d say he’s not going to do well against Whittaker

I know they don't wrestle much in England, but Till really needs to work on keeping his hips forward and down, pushing on his opponents body and shoulders to keep them back, and sprawling back with his legs. I would have thought Khamzat would have helped fix this weakness in Till.
