- Always liked these 18v bosch jigsaws, they only had a dc motor but they where a tight solid machine.
But the tools holder is what always gives trouble. The spring fails or the plastic lever gets damaged. This requires a new lifter assembly.
A very easy and quick job to do, but this one also needed a clean out as sawdust had started to build up inside.

I am in the Bosch cordless line I want to upgrade my quarter power tools cordless I'm not getting rid of you say this is a decent jigsaw always see them on sale on this particular one in the states not same model but it's a a brushed model I know they have a brushless and then releasing another brushless version over there in Europe standard I have a skill branwen Bosch owned that brand in the blade release mechanism looks similar design of the jigsaw as well

I got a question for the community I'm in the box platform I live in the United States models are irrelevant you have a similar brushed jigsaw to this one and a brushless version both 18 v which one of the two would you recommend it's not going to get a construction site professional reviews
Brushless version is better in every aspect. The blade ejection lever alone wins. The dust blower is also terrific, plus the dust collector attachment works perfectly.
