Great video tutorial! Totally liked the ease of steps and pro tip. I will be able to remove the doors of my Gladiator sport without a problem thanks to you man. Kudos. 👍
So glad I could help you out and that you liked it!
I keep a small piece of cardboard in the toolkit to put between the ratchet at the door when removing the hinge bolts. Protects the paint and allows you to remove the bolts quicker without worry of scratching anything. Good video!
Thats a great idea! I will use it when I redo this video!
Instead of a little piece of cardboard, I use a "refrigerator magnet".
6:09 I guess that spider wanted to tune in too 😂
Great video man. Good refresher each year before taking off again. Tyvm!!
Gkad you enjoyed it. I sometimes rewatch tutorials ive done to make sure im doing stuff right or have the right tools
Suggestion: I put the bolts from the door stops back into frame to help keep dirt out of the hole.
Good call!
Great video! Nice job.
u are the man!! Thanks Sir. Doors are surprisingly lightweight 😂 still get nervous movin em around
Thank you so much! Doors are not that bad, but yes I get nervous anytime I do these videos
Appreciate the step by step process of door removal.

Hey brother by any chance do you know how to remove the bed on the gladiator ?
I honestly dont. I would assume just some bolts holding it to the frame
Did anyone else see the little spider? Legend has it it bit him and he gained super powers.
True story
I was reattaching my doors and the bolt that attaches the brace to the inside of the door jamb screwed in about .25 of the way in and then popped off what looks like a plate inside the interior of the jamb. It's what the bolt screws into. Now I can't unscrew or tighten that brace. Essentially I can't take my door off. Anyone know how I can fix this? I don't even know where to start looking on the internet.
You rock, most excellent video on how to take the doors off 😁
Thanks! 👍
can you drive on the road with doors off, or do you need a mirror for seeing behind you?
I believe legally you have to have at least a driver's side side mirror. Yes you can drive with the doors off and it is a lot of fun (did it a ton in my old wrangler) i did end up getting some mirrors ypu could install in the door hinge holes on my wrangler though.
One thing that is never mentioned is the Auto Park feature. When I open the door and shift into drive, my jeep automatically parks itself. I’m guessing you don’t have that problem with the pigtails disconnected?
Great question. Im sure that it doesmt do it when the doors are off automatically. Otherwise I would have heard of the problem much sooner. I will test it on my next doors off video which hopefully is this weekend!
@@Summitautoi just saw another video that says this Auto park feature happens when under two conditions. 1. Door is open and 2. Seatbelt is unbuckled
So, my door accidentally closed and now the inside brace is basically inside of the door. Any ideas on how to get it back into place?
Get a channel locks and pull it out
How do you put them back on
Here you go.
