My shame says “I am shame” and I’m undeserving of any kind of help, empathy or anything remotely good. That’s how BAD I actually am. So this is a really important topic that has devastated my almost whole life. 🙏

    Thank you.
I think the movie The Polar Express reveals what is required for seriously abused people to attain the posture, standing and vision prerequisite to overcoming, breaking the cycle of external (and thereafter internalized) abuse.
If I were writing fiction, I could see a character looking into the mirror, wanting to avert their eyes quickly, and a gentle, gentle divine companion saying, "you've been badly, badly abused, your whole life; when you look, you only look at the bad parts, the damage, the hurt - when I look, I only see the Best Parts, behind and before the bruises and scars. You have to look with My Eyes for now, see what I see. Trust my eyes. "

I've seen lots of shamed people but they can be social, talk, have families, relate to each other, and enjoy each other's company. With that being said, I was shamed at my core. I had anxiety attacks in social situations. I was deeply self-conscious around people and generally in public. I was painfully awkward when talking with people, to the point of making them feel so uncomfortable around me. And I didn't even know why. I could not identify what was wrong with me. I was in a mental fog. I feared rejection but I didn't know I was afraid of rejection. I was a people pleaser.

I thank our heavenly Father for sending me to your channel. Your content is truly anointed and revealing. Since I am walking on my personal healing journey (2010) this content is a whole new level and the most important milestone I ever stumbled upon.
This feeling that is attached to my whole beeing, pulls me down, keeps me from moving on, makes me behave in strange ways. Now I know what it is - toxic shame

Excellent talk Mark! I know that shame feeling and the “original sin“ comes to mind. That painful inherited belief that all your life’s horrors even when you’re the victim, are a deserved punishment and goes to prove that you are wicked and unlovable. Thankfully Jesus saves!

Thank you! It hard to recognise own problems as shame related; its even harder to publicly write a comment about it. but its somewhat healing. I have a hard time with my self, and I have a feeling that this topic may be it. Hope to solve it.

Wow, you just read my mail! So much shame over my financial situation, that I can't even talk about it with other people. So many issues with how other's view my lack of success. Didn't even realize it was a shame issue, just thought it was truth. I'm gonna really go after this! Thanks for this short video!

This is my second video of yours, Mark. Not only did you not trigger hatred towards God once again, but your words, coupled with what you say about God, are so powerful & so healing. I've never had any Christian in my entire life make me feel any type of closeness to God. You are. I lost faith in God by age 12, but lost faith in myself by age 3. Btw, I was only introduced to Christianity at age 8. After 4 years, I thought God was gone. It wasn't long after that I felt I was introduced to this alien, extremely psychopathic type of God - jealous, tormenter, thing to fear. I won't go into some of my worse thoughts.

Well I noticed that my relationship to my girlfriend became and idol. That caused me to feel so much guilt and shame and I don’t know how to process through that with an internal security. I don’t know how to live out of Gods Grace and his love for me. I just see the idol and guilt and shame follows. It’s so hard for me to Prozess through my heartissue because I know that my biggest problem is that I don’t know how to recieve Gods Love for me. And when I am looking for the love and validation and affirmation that I need in other things, like in my current relationship, than It can became an idol and that’s where I am at right now. I love this girl and I know that she loves me but she can’t fill the places only God can fill🙈 and Know I feel empty and pain and don’t know how to proces through that

I have this issue where it’s very hard for me to heal and be happy/ anxiety free because every time I try and I realize I’m still living this sinful life I was before I begin to panic because I feel like I’m running out of time to fix myself. What do you do and how do you allow yourself patience and grace and love when everyone around you is panicking talking about how soon God is gonna come back....?? A lot of my anxiety stems from the fact that I’m not living the way I want to for God because I have no heart connection to so it’s hard because I feel like I’m not ready to quit some of the things I do because it feels forced but at the same time if he really is coming back as soon as people say, I’m just scared what God would think of the way I’m living... the possibility of him coming back makes it so hard for me to heal because I’m still just so terrified of him because I don’t fully understand how he views me. Anyways, as far as me quitting the stuff I do, it’s just hard for me because I don’t feel ready and if I do quit I know if wont be from the heart so it’d basically be another religious duty I do out of fear of God hating me. My whole relationship with God has been based on fear the past year and it didn’t used to be that way. Should I just not even think about God coming back and live my life like normal so I can heal and give myself patience, or should I think about what everyone is saying and hurry and fix myself?? This has been a battle for way too long. Please make a video on this PLEASE!!🥺🙏🏼❤️💯

Hey, I know this is 3 years late, but I just want to post this scripture here to encourage you:
      Hebrews 9:28
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
He is not coming back to beat you up or leave you behind. He knows what you are going through and wants to help you. If you want to know how He is toward you, read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and Matthew 11:28-30 slowly and with an open heart, as if you've never read it before.
      Remember:
      - When you finally see Him, you will be just like Him [1 John 3:2]
      - He will keep you from stumbling and present you blameless before The Father with joy [Jude 1:24]
      - You will have boldness in the day of judgement because you are (already, through the blood and righteousness of Christ) as He is in this world [1 John 4:17]
      May this bless you!

Good video, but psychology and religion dont mix. You should learn from shame. Shame exists for reason.

    • @naomizmiti
      @naomizmiti 5 месяцев назад

@@Dante_Grimiz you would tell a Christian to get plastic surgery?
See, this is where your reasoning fails, because you don't understand shame. And if we don't understand it, how can we deal with it rightly?
How can we even deal with it rightly if we don't recognize it in our lives?
Shame is dangerous. It drove Judas Iscariot to suicide. If we don't realize that we need to be like Peter, and take our shame to Jesus and let Him deal with it, we'll be destroyed.
And Jesus certainly didn't tell Peter to accept his shame. He sat Him down next to a fire, cooked him breakfast and spoke to him.
All this to show that even psychology belongs to God. It's in the Bible.
