I don't want to jump to conclusions but I wouldn't be surprised if axing the move to Dagenham was the plan from the beginning and they only pretended it was the plan so they could close the market. Very troubling news regardless. This is priceless heritage and I can't imagine anything better will be replacing it.
@@DanH-f3b Neither of these markets fall under Sadiq Kahn's jurisdiction as one of them is within the City/Square Mile which has its own separate mayor, and the other is owned by the Corporation of London (the same authority that runs the square mile). You're gonna have to find another scapegoat.
@@ommyvalentine True, but his point isn't incorrect. Khan, for obvious reasons, don't care about British heritage, but neither does anyone in positions of power anymore. All of the West is being affected by this kind of cultural malaise. It's sickening.
@@maxwillis3840 You and I definitely both acknowledge the same issue plaguing society (cultural malaise is a good way to put it) but it looks like we blame it on different things.
To be fair it's good for the animals though who would prefer not to be bred for such a life or have their life taken from them. Animal rights have to be prioritised over such traditions
Just another whittling away of our traditional way of english life , there will be nothing left of our culture and heritage in the coming years ,and for what ,?,a load of high-rise expensive shoebox size flats . It's a disgrace.....
This issue goes deeper than the mishandling of Brexit. The people in positions of power in this country simply don't care about it (the country), or its heritage. This is a problem most countries face though; for example in France recently a 7,000 year old henge was destroyed to make room for a shopping centre.
The future is Vegetarian(Vegan). 👌🏼🫶🏼💚 For the UK this win should be dedicated to Dr Donald Watson who had been trying hard to revive the spirit of non-violence (Vegetarian ie Vegan) in the UK.
