This ring has 1 friend asking me to do the tutorial. I see this sample many times but do not think I can do it.

With simple steps and simple tools you can do it yourself. Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire and gemstones for jewelry more valuable
Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
With creativity you can change some details to create your own style

I’m so happy you made this tutorial! I’ve been trying to find how to prong set faceted stones ( in rings or pendants) - Most teachers are charging $50 US or more for a lesson, which I cannot afford. I’d like to know how to do it with square wire and a stone with a deep pavilion?

I used to round copper wire - magnet wire , it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be dead soft copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time

Gracias que te gustaba, yo usaba alambre de cobre - alambre de imán, es el único tipo que encontré donde vivía para muchos tamaños. No sé exactamente qué tipo era, puede ser alambre de cobre blando muerto, tiene capa de chapado, y no oscuro por el tiempo

I was wondering , on this ring do you need a certain diameter of wire or just 20 and 21 gauge?
You can use 1 wire size. I use 2 sizes of rings because the rings need high hardness, and the wire that kept the stones needed were smaller so they no overwhelm the stone

You can do with the way other stone shapes, With larger stones you can use larger wire to ensure that the stones don't fall off.

Hi. Are you sure that the size of the stone is 6 mm? It looks like 9-10 mm. And the gauge looks like 1-1.2 mm thick.
