    _"we don't know enough"_
Yet the vast majority of humanity always believed in a Supreme Creator. What's more, our own conscience itself suggests, that deep inside us, we know we will be held accountable. In fact, if the Professor was to fall over that bridge and couldn't swim, and nobody was around to rescue him, he may even call out to God, but he would NEVER call out to his invisible pocket-sized fabrication.

    • @sanna9672
      @sanna9672 5 месяцев назад +6

@@seantaylor4095 They have given the example that when in danger even an atheist is likely to call upon the help of God out of fear. They're stating it's innate and deep within the human psyche to believe in a Creator. And yes historically far more people have believed in God due to a multitude of reasons. For example, many believers who establish consistent efforts to pray and connect with God experience their prayers being heard. This is ultimately the best method to test if God exists, which is the argument this particular speaker presents time and time again.
As for the example of a tooth fairy, it's not equivocal because the speaker is arguing that God is the cause of all causes and there is ample evidence to suggest that the order of the universe cannot just be coincidence. Not so much evidence for a tooth fairy as there is no logic there.

@@seantaylor4095 You obviously didn't grasp my point: In a do or die situation, we turn to instinct. Hence, our calling out to God in such desperate situations tells us, deep down, we know that we have a Creator.

Notwithstanding, the cause of the cause of the cause of - argument doesn't hold water in the eyes of scientists. Faith can be corroborated/substantiated with logic, proof, and evidence, furthermore, could effortlessly be marred by a rational mind-as most prolific Islamic Scholars who hold PhDs in their fields. The reason, as I could compare notes, is that the versions of truth prevail over the sane minds.

Both sides are not sure if they know what the reality is. The convincing and satisfying power have diminishing returns as both aspects move forward.

We all know the plan of the Elites is to devide people and confuse them on a such a level that no one would be sure what is true and what is wrong anymore.
They are prime example as victims of this propaganda that is being thrown into society for decades.
Many of them are atheists, because common sense does not agree with reality that the creator of the vast and great universe is a human and that this God died for us so God for them becomes like a fairy tale or a story of a legends that doesn't fit in modern society.
You'd be surprised how many atheists are joining Islam after learning about Islam.
So my point is, do not look at them from above, but try to help them to learn about the message of Islam.

In the beginning, he seemed to be having the impression that faith in Islam, is the same with any other faith, irrational and absurd, hence the whimsical opening he presented. I think our man has proved him wrong on that.
Well, it's clear to me that he is an agnostic, and he is struggling to our inherent ignorance and lack of knowledge/understanding about reality, saying we don't know, we never know, and it's only increase the more we know. This probably indicates that he is unsure how to put his faith on the right faith, because he feel he would never know if it's the right one.
The garden analogy he offered didn't work well, not only it didn't remove the necessity of a highest authority, it was also taking on the fringe multiverse theory. He said we see that garden or many gardens, but this analogy isn't reflected in our world; we can't see that universe or many universes. They're unobservable.
So, in short, he seems to be saying that if we don't know everything for sure, and never know, it's better to wage for the unobservable multiverse than unobservable God. Even if it's unproven empirically, it's better to hold on the fringe thinking. The statement that all those chemicals would win in the end is, again, seems to be, scientism.
I wish he could learn Islam and Quran more and better before deciding on the fringe science

In order to contest the existence of God, one must have read all scriptures. Otherwise, you operate from a point of arrogance assuming your level of intellect and understanding is superior to the scripture... At that point, you'd better ensure you thoroughly understand what you're reading...
It seems he's looking for physical proof, and our brother here keeps trying to show him that the physical proof is all around you. Not only that, but the functions were conveyed to us through an illiterate man, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa Sallallahu Alaihis Wasalam, having received revelation in a cave over 1400 years ago. And that book fits in line with science today.
I hope he reads the Qur'an and opens his heart. It seems like you received the admiration and respect of the scientist by the end. Mashallah

How’s it I’m front of me? The Quaran is speaks of false claims. Do you really think Mohammad split the moon? There is no evidence for that, no other civilization recorded it, and it makes no logical sense.
Why did Allah have to send so many messengers who all claim they’d be the last? Your god is not omnipotent if he has to keep on sending multiple prophets.

Bravo. Even if in his heart, he realized that what he was doing was wrong. In the end however..... The turtle won the race.

He tries soooo hard not to believe yet he knows how irrational he actually is at the end of this instead of the other way around! Just like with the Garden analogy... You can see his Fitra inside of him struggling and something in his brainwashed mind is trying to steer him away from it! SubhanAllah! If you turn your back on Allah, then Allah will turn away from you and if Allah turns away from you than nobody can help you! Alhamdulillah, Im Muslim!!! 🤲☝

Even a professor doesn't understand that beliefs and faith doesn't a change a things in the world on how it functions, even if some believe that apples might kill you due to poisonous substances it doesn't change the fact that our organ will ignore our believe and start processing it as vitamins. It signify that intended functions doesn't change based on what we believe. The same case for the existence of God, the existence of Independency where all things dependent on it is necessary.

Whatever the initial cause is can't undergo change which is why quantum fluctuations aren't a valid uncaused cause, because they fluctuate. Anything that changes is caused to change by something else, and whatever the uncaused cause is must be something that doesn't change but has the faculty to change things precisely and intentionally

With some thought I can understand where he could be coming from- that we can’t understand anything out of human perception so how would we know but to that I say doesn’t it make more sense to use the rationality and logic you’ve been given and that you do have rather than be in denial over what could be? If you’re wrong about there being no god then you lose everything, if people of religion are wrong about there being god they lose nothing. It’s more productive to use the logic you have within your human consciousness than to sacrifice everything that could be in the afterlife..

Does he really think that existence of his imaginary pocket troll can't be disproved while simultaneously proving him to be insane? I guess when people blindly bow down to your credentials, you get arrogant.
