@@CarlosHernandez-el4oc Also, the soloists that have to rip these notes tend to not much nor play as much as the rest of the corps. That's what I've noticed from watching gopro runs of a few soloists.
I love this show so much, i saw it 3 times while on tour. 2 times in the front row getting my face blown off, and lastly at semi’s. As much as I love this show, I can see why it got the silver medal. BD just had it cleaner, plain and simple. I believe bluecoats had a more difficult show, but i don’t want to downplay the work all marchers put in throughout the ‘19 season. I hope more love can be spread than strict criticism among corps. Appreciate the sport and how alive it still is!!
Makes it easily on my list of favorite trumpet features so far with just blue devils 2017, and now bluecoats (edit:) 2019. Any recommendations for others to listen to?
Ugh. How about you play something with some stones instead of a danged microphone. I’ll give you that these musicians are great at what they do but it’s all about how pretty they can be rather than the precision and power of yesteryear. I’m waiting for the time when they move this off the field and onto the stage.

i pass out ever time i hit scream notes, couldn’t imagine marching a whole show on top of it
So much worse than you would expect lmfao
You need to stop playing high notes if you pass out everytime then lol you gonna end up injuring yourself badly
@@sage5559 i was being dramatic lol ! and since that comment i’ve been working on range control and breathing exercises and it’s helped a lot haha
All these high notes are while standing still during this movement and the opener features tbf

Playing high and loud on trumpet sounds so good even though I can never play that
How can you not love the syncopation and note choice at 0:50 ???
Godly.
No way, the guy playing the second part is my band director
Really? The guy at 0:42?

Blue coats 2019
Cool microphones
In order to hear a soloist over an ENTIRE brass ensemble playing at fortissimo, yeah, you need a microphone. Go figure.
yeah i could do that
What was this shows theme lol
after hours of research i believe it’s the beatles

This was a great show but not a great performance
I honestly thought overall it was a very solid performance, not their best of the year but still very good
they are so flat
Yeah it was pretty rough

ok
Don't worry. Many DCI musicians go on to become the bright new stars in orchestras all over the world after they graduate college.
Sounds like someone was cut
