Just did mine a couple of weeks ago. Took the method of removing all parts and cleaning off the car. Without an air line the only way to clean the lower plenum is to lift out the leaves, twigs, etc by hand and flush out the silt with a watering can (hot water and detergent followed by clean water). The ECU has to be carefully lifted out to change the filter and there’s a cable clip that can prevent the filter being removed. The long plastic trim panel on mine was already broken, which helped removal. It’s a job worth doing
You realize that you did not unclog the driver side drain on the steering column, yea theres another drain there its teh worse to get at it due the column being there check it out for yourself i belive its under the column itself, with a bit of hard work you may be able to see it ;)

Had my ZT 15 years now, from new, done spy hole modification for plenum chamber, alot less hassle, no need worry about the other one.

Are you cleaning the plenum camber ? .... I don't think you mentioned it !!
