ABOUT THIS GAME
Halls of Torment is a horde survival game with a pre-rendered retro look reminiscent of RPGs from the late 90s. Choose one of many hero characters and descend into the deadly Halls of Torment. Fight unholy horrors from beyond and survive wave after wave of enemies until you face one of the tormented Lords. Strengthen your hero with character traits, abilities, and items. Create a new powerful build during each run. Explore various underground expanses and find new powerful items that enable you to venture even deeper into the abyss.

Thanks - I have learned to not drink tea when too hot, how potions work in conjunction, crit hits have red numbers and last but not least, by going back on levels you can pick up useful items that will help in future runs!!
Drinking tea when too hot is ill advised.

Maybe that's what I could try for a 12 hour stream... Interesting thought though, not considered how much quicker that could be with experience/a plan.
Hey ! What do you think of this to farm torment shard ? Exterminator + vault (tribute till +1 torment shard) - Buirn chance + burn damage = Vault boss cleaned before min5. Approximatively 20 shards per hour
That sounds quite fast, I'll see if it's faster that what I've got at the moment. :D

Lifting is important as part of a balanced diet. I always feel early need more than later? But yes you're right... honestly most of the time was spent trying to make my face appear on fire....

Would sorceress be able to move faster?
I think archer gets the +2m/s at 60 which the Sorceress can't get, but using one with the others marks would probably be THE fastest build you could do.
What do you think the best build is for beating the vault boss in 15min, 9min? I’m struggling with that quest
Weirdly enough, it's what I'm looking into today.
The shieldmaiden is more than capable, with the fencing gauntlets though, she'll do the 9 mins no worries.
I did it with archer on full damage scaling crit and crit damage with attack speed and torment shards into damage percentage and duelist spark amulet. Needles to start, get every single attack speed multi crit crit damage node for your main weapon by locking and double skill early about the 5 mins mark. Then go either transfixion with lightning strike or blades. You want to scale your damage through the roof early and try to leave the area before the ten minute mark. that means you wanna be about lv 50 by 8 minutes. If you are unsure how to do it check any archer video on how to maximize kills for the 66600 achievement.
Secondly there is the shield maiden approach where you scale defense and block chance through the roof and rely on the gloves and defiant plate armour for counter damage. For this without green gear take the blessed ring for extra healing. This is the easiest way. Just double Bulwark with blue potions and lock any defense/block/regen nodes so you get them all from proficiencies skills. this is mark of swordsman for extra base defense.

@@TheBamanda2 Ya just don't give up after one go. It will take some tinkering for figuring out when the right time to fight the boss is.
Oh and if you are missing abilities check your quest lists and blessings for advantages like the two lives helps alot.
