This video is so good, not only because of the build but also how it is made. Details, important explanations, items shown, a few jokes but not too much trash talk. Very very good(!). 👏
The Mountain Idol heads always respawn after being killed, unless you're at max agony at which point they stop spawning entirely due to a bug. If you're scaling Bloodcatcher and trying to push damage you ideally want to commit seppuku around the time you'd hit max agony. Defiant Plate (Reactive) is also huge for this build, or any build really! If you're looking for something funny to try, I recommend Thornfist Cleric. Run the uncommon variant that reflects x5 over-crit when being hit (while stacking base defense; don't necessarily need to run Shield Maiden mark), and you'll be able to kill the heads only a few minutes into the run :D
I read somewhere that the upgrade for the morning star that makes the chains do damage is even better for this build, since you're basically standing on the heads the whole game. I didn't know they respawned before the 3 minute mark either, that's a great find :D
Will have to give that a try. Early days for me with the game so far. I enjoy broken interactions, I've got a feeling this is the tip of the iceberg. :)
Beautiful run. I stumbled across this pretty much this exact setup by accident too and it's completely insane, especially effective for fast vault runs. Your early game looked really solid, I took block everywhere but you spreading more of the priority between block and defense definitely made you fully immortal much earlier in the run. I did get 138B damage in my last run (not that it matters beyond a certain point lol), the difference being that I took the crit rings (scaling crit chance / dmg), and used 2 doubling potions on the Crit Bonus multiplier, and the final on the huge AoE which made the glove reflect AoE cover the entire screen, 95B of the run damage was from War Hammer itself. Also ran the archer mark for base crit + multistrike nodes which made a big difference for scaling up damage early on. I would have assumed the echo ring would give more total DPS but maybe it doesn't do much if the initial hit already killed everything?
Sounds like some valid changes to make to really push that damage skywards. And yes, I think if you've scaled crit and are actually popping the enemies with the Warhammer hits, then Echoing band just sort of.. does not much. From the stream tonight, looks like there are still going to be valid builds for the Shieldmaiden at very silly torment levels, but the damage we saw from Blood Catcher will be gone I think, and the swaps to archer with the doubling may be a challenge as without the Blood Catcher healing, might need to look at more damage reduction. The 120%+ defence from the Land..L..Riflewoman can reduce the damage you take to so low that the healing from the Holy Relic ring looks to be enough to cover survivability.
I'm not entirely sure, if the block strenght modifier ends being doubled, I'll edit my comment, if I have answers from the wiki guy, or someone else, who should know it. another point being, with the mark of landsknecht, you have a trait called "fortification" which gives 20% defense, if you double that up three times, you have a total of +140% defense plus the 30% from bulwark, so all the +5 absolute defense traits, the normal one being 5x so 25 absolute defense and the shield maidens one, with the +5 defense/+10% blockstrenght, becomes something, which would be normally +45 absolute defense, now becomes around 117 absolute defense, which would interact with the armor defiant plate, which sadly, wasnt used here.
This build doesn't work anymore without the bugged necklace. Now even at Torment 10 you die in 10 seconds to the stone heads even with maxed out Traits with 500 block and 200 defense
Should be one that works in the description which is very similar. But yeah, those damage numbers are not seemingly achievable without the neck. Couple of other builds on the channel for 22/23 though for a few of the classes.
Dude, I don't wanna be funny buuut... I'll say this any way. I have watched at least 25 streams on this game and I have to say. You kick ass the fricking hardest!!!
Hey bud, great video. Love the breakdown. Can you do a video on the archer? I seem to be struggling with her at much higher levels, even with over 70 shards. I'm guessing I'm building her wrong. I feel like it's almost imperative to go in with some defensive gear because she shatters so easily early on; but, as the game progresses it feels like the bonus health/block coming in with my defensive gear works against blood catcher and the potential missed opportunity on not equipping Wind Crown. Idk, I haven't run too, too many tries with her at high difficulty, but I just get my shit wrecked by Fallen Star and really simple shit like traps and small chip damage. And at much lower torment levels it feels like Phantom Needles is the right first ability, but I'm having much higher success with Ring Blades/Morning Star, but if I can't get them going fast enough I'm left lacking in damage.
Not tried archer too much yet but I undoubtedly will. I think phantom needles might be a bit of a trap, it felt really good when I first started, not found it to be useful for much on t10+ yet however. Bound to be some way to break it, attack speed and something... just yet to find the something...
Hey quick question. At 4:24 you oblivion the Proficient Stance I (Dexterous) and then take Proficient Stance I (Guarding). I don't understand why you oblivion'ed the Dexterous when you were about to pick one that blocks it anyway. Or does using a potion of Oblivion on Proficient Stance I (Dexterous) also remove Proficient Stance II (Dexterous) and so on from the pool?
Blocks later tiers, so getting rid of the 1 drops the 2 and 3 from ever appearing, useful for manipulating the levels you want. You can also memories them and take both tier 1 upgrades, then both tier 2 appear. Potions are fun :D
Really liked the video. :) Could you position your camera in a way that we can see the current level though? Top right there is nothing interesting going on. :)
I must say, this is the worst game for a camera, every corner has something. Even top right has the abilities! I'll think of something. Put the level number super imposed on my forehead or similar maybe...
@@FswithFarham I see what you mean but I think it doesn't have to be completely top right. Just top right to the left of the sidebar should be perfectly fine. :) Maybe you can try it sometime. Anyways, keep your videos going! :)
It's the blood catcher. It used to be completely broken. But I may have had about 50% regen from the camp. I was stacking that for high torment back at this point.
Buy 30 items from the merchant. He goes to the vault through thr gates on the left. Go down, kill him. Drops an artifact you can use in torment runs to bring back the green items.
Massive area mace would have been better, and auto critting gloves. Oh to turn back time. Not sure I even had some of the blessings unlocked at this point xD
By that run, was up to about 100 of them, dumped into crit chance. Don't know why crit chance. Fundamentally though, nothing in the torment shards that makes this any more broken than it is though, in terms of survivability (Maybe regen, but I mean... that blood catcher...)
Nope. That's replicatable with the same items, you also dont need torment shards to do it theyre just nice to have. Been playing the game a week, I'm no where near messing about with stat editors!

The best offence is a good defence as they say?

You could have added the firebreath too, one of the upgrades also makes it into physical dmg, EVEN MORE ECHOING BAND MADNESS!
Oooo, I could have... Not 100% on all the overclocks/upgrades yet!
It counts as both phys and magical even.
Found this fascinating!
Glad to hear it. :)
Very explanatory intro and funny meme's.😃
Your profile is now better placed at the top left! Great explanations all the way through.
You have been playing this game for just one week?
Yep, just a week, picked it up on its release day which I think was last Thursday.
very good video , nice edits :D gj man , nice builds
Thanks :D
Hey Suese, Its the fricking terminator
Invincible builds are fun-thank you for pushing it to the extreme!
Definitely a good one to find... hope i didn't start at the top of best builds though... feel like I may have....
I have 150 hours and just discovered you could equip characters marks I have 494 achievements xD good vid
They don't make those marks obvious do they? I think showing it with a cross on it naturally make people ignore it.

@@FswithFarham Ah cool, thank you :)
Thanks for asking I had the exact same question 😂
RIP Blood Catcher
It's ok. I mean, it's not 63 Billion Damage ok, but we can achieve this same torment level.
Ive watched a few of your videos and have noticed your hp drops a tad upon leveling. Why is that?
One of the artifacts reduces max hp by 0.8% per level up
Maybe it's the blood orb or maybe it's the autistic min-maxing but the Diablo II vibes in this really comes through. 😆
Ah I've been loving it. Numbers go big!
Can't you just mitigate inverted movement in the keybind settings?
Holy shit you could....
I love the build...but why not take health capacity early on?
Don't need it, gets in the way of other level ups.
Blood catcher's damage requirement is based on your max hp. The less max hp you have, the faster it stacks.
This seems pretty weak for pre-nerf Blood Catcher on 10+ Torment. You could've easily racked up 100+ with better gear.
Massive area mace would have been better, and auto critting gloves.
Oh to turn back time.
Not sure I even had some of the blessings unlocked at this point xD
What does he need the extra 2 arms😂. Maybe for the cheeks man😅
I'm too innocent to understand. XD
