Do Gibson Vibrolas Suck? The out of tune myth? Sideways, Maestro, and Bigsby compared.

You always see comments on the internet about how the three main types of vibrola or tremolo systems used on vintage and modern Gibson guitars are terrible, useless, and pull the guitar out of tune.
Do they really suck?
I think with proper setup they can be perfectly reliable when used within their designed range of use.
Yes, even the notorious sideways vibrola... HOWEVER, only the vintage one in my experience.
