Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa on Arrival for US, UK, Schengen Visa Holders (2022 New Policy)

- It appears to be a new policy for March 2022 that anyone holding these types of visas in their passport can get a visa on arrival in Saudi Arabia in an effort by the Kingdom to boost tourism. However, based on our experience, this may need some time before the land crossings will acknowledge this policy.
We discovered this new policy by accident after having a bit of trouble with the tourist visas through the official website. This was our experience, we are looking forward to exploring Saudi Arabia as a part of our overall plan to visit any country in the region which gives us permission to visit.

I’m not really sure but I remember when I read the news that you get that type of Visa on arrival you in the airport and only if you used the Saudi Arabian airline carriers.. ( Flynas, Flyadeal or Saudia). Maybe it’s still not practiced when you cross by land..
I think you are right, hopefully one day the same will apply for land crossing
@@jcroadSorry for that. You’re welcome to Saudi, I hope you come as soon as possible, even though I recommend coming in winter because there are more activities all over Saudi and the weather is great..

I am Nafees Alam from India. Right now i am living in Italy. I have a valid schengen visa can i take visit visa on arrival at Riyadh Airport.
And student schengen visa is also eligible for visit visa on arrival
For clarification : It's only for those who has valid visit Visa* and also it should be stamped atleast once (used).
Is visa on arrival available for valid u.s visa holders at dammam airport now? I am not flying in with the saudi carriers. Do u have more updates?
I heard from other travelers (I live in Bahrain) that it's way easier to enter Saudi now compared to the time I made this video. I found the best and latest info is from tourism ministry facebook page, send them a message at facebook.com/VisitSaudi/ The visa on arrival has nearly the same cost as the e-visa, if at all possible I highly recommend the e-visa. It will save you a lot of time
When you say uk or us visa holders do you mean uk or us passport holders? Please tell me
It might sound strange but the policy is that UK or US passport holders should apply for e-visa on the ministry website prior to your trip. I believe visa on arrival is meant to give those who have other passports which are not approved for the tourism e-visa a way to get into KSA.

Its only 90 days be aware they said one year but u cant stay more than 90 days

alycumsalam brother, I am not an expert with visas but I believe your wife's b1/b2 visa must be used at least once to enter USA before you can use it to enter Saudi by air. But Saudi tourism ministry is changing the rules many times, making it easier and easier. You might still be ok, check with Saudi tourism ministry on Facebook messenger, I noticed they reply very fast.

visa.visitsaudi.com/ use this site for tourism visa if you cannot get the visa on arrival. If you want visa on arrival, check with any Saudi airline how to get it
What about US passport do I need visa or I can get it at the arrival
It's a bit weird but US passports need to apply for online visa. But they approve it quickly and I think the price is exactly the same. My opinion is the on arrival visa policy is still too new, they told us that only the airport (not land borders) will process it and only with Saudi airlines.

My understanding now is you will get the visa only if flying with a Saudi airline. I did not try it myself by air so best is if you call a Saudi airline company and they will tell you for sure.

They don't mention citizens, best to ask a Saudi airline. It would be a bit wierd if they took visa holders but not citizens

It probably will not work by driving your car, that was our experience driving from Bahrain. I think the rule is that you must fly to Saudi using a Saudi airline to use the US visa
Flying to saudi with saudi airline and green card will make you eligible for visa on arrival

You should be ok, give a call to any Saudi airline and they will tell you

Your half mind is on road and half on video, 2nd thing very noisy. I think from your room or from hotel easily you can make a few mints video with same information. Please don't mind.
Thanks brother, yes we will not do another video on noisy bridge. Most of our videos are about promoting Bahrain so we go outside of home, when in car we just pretend camera is not there, like regular car chatting nothing practiced before.
