UK blunder was our opportunity, hopefully we don't shoot ourselves in the foot and miss out on the P8 ASW aircraft before the line closes. Nor do we want some half baked proposal by Bombardier which would turn into another orphan fleet fiasco at double the costs for half the capacity , if that.

The CF has come a long way. At one time an RN rating could ask to transfer to the RCN & magically become a P.O. in the RCN on transfer. Halcyon days for some.
Welcome to Canada Andy. Now we want your British doctors. In Metro Cape Breton, where I live, we do not have enough qualified doctors. We can offer your doctors over a billion dollars worth of new health facilities under construction. These include a large beautiful new Cancer Centre in Sydney Nova Scotia and a two hundred million plus health facility in North Sydney NS. Other new facilities are being built. If Great Britain is shutting down please note Canada is growing. Metro Cape Breton University in association with Dalhousie University Halifax NS is also building a brand new medical school in Metro Cape Breton. So in conclusion opportunities for British doctors exceed even those opportunities for British military members. Hopefully soon we will welcome UK doctors in Metro Cape Breton. 🙂
