1000 with a slashed out 0 on the end
All out of 100 patches?!
crazy how underfunded our forces are.
If I remember correctly CAF Members are paid more the USA cause military members is smaller
What century was this produced in?
What century does it look like it was produced in? 🧐
@@InfoTivoliFilms 20th.
Well that’s better than the 19th!
Looking forward to seeing new equipment replace these workhorses, but we enjoyed our time spent with them.
What aircraft should be mothballed first in your opinion?
I may have been wrong in thinking it was in the 20th century because I did see some training taking place the other day. I had thought that basic flight training had been moved entirely to Moose Jaw but maybe they are training on a non-regular basis at Portage. It seems like a class will go through Moose Jaw and then there is a flurry of RCAF jet training in the US. I guess it's what happens when you let the recruiting levels fall to far and the RCAF can't handle the training requirements.
C.W. Lemoine had an interesting video on RUclips talking about the age of the trainers. They are probably newer than what the RCAF are being trained on in the U.S.
