But it’s completely their fault. They raised millions of dollars and still couldn’t stay afloat. The quality is probably the best in the business, but people weren’t buying because of their insane price of almost $2000. If they lowered it substantially, it would probably become a very successful company.
Nah, they closed because they put a bunch of money into developing the rev scooter, and they had a super loose return policy. People were sending back penny boards for refunds

Thank you for the grammar lesson; however, the term skateboard is the general term for "a plank of wood on four rollerskates", whereas the term longboard specifically refers to a skateboard which is LONG, such as the one depicted in the video. I could say "I live in a country" and the statement would be true since USA is by definition a country, but using a general term rather than a specific term ignores significant details about said country that differentiates it from other countries. A long board is significantly different that a normal skateboard in the way it's ridden, who it's ridden by and what purpose it serves. It's an important differentiation to make. I was riding down the hill on an electric skateboard vs and electric longboard. Anyone who skates would understand how significantly different those two statements are.

Why don't they attach a spare battery and charge it on the way with the movement of the board like a dynamo ? This way, as the first one runs out, the second one could be used and the process will go on. No need to charge the battery at all ! Manufacturers - make use of kinetic energy, please ? :P

Yeah, regenerative breaking is the best “recharging on the go” you’re going to get. The amount of energy required to get the wheels spinning and keep them spinning is greater than the amount of energy produced by the spinning wheels. Friction and all that. Engaging a generator to the spinning wheels would act as a break... and they did, and that’s how regenerative breaking works.
It wouldn’t be comfortable to ride a skateboard for longer than the range of these boards anyway, and they can be recharged from common wall outlets.

Honestly, the smartphone market feels kind of stagnant right now. There's a lot of room for improvement, but there haven't been that many improvements lately. Other kinds of tech seem more interesting and fresh right now.
That's cuz there's nothing new in mobile tech right now. I prefer watching various cool gadgets, vehicles and whatnot rather than boring smartphones that don't do anything new or better.
First of all, he does upload consistently. RUclips is his full-time job, and he does focus on the mobile market scene. This isn't a gaming channel where youtubers upload every day, this is a professional tech channel. MKBHD does his hardest to ensure that he has the most superb video quality and content.
He's growing as a reviewer. I like it that he's branching out.
