Cool video, i installed the holleywood bars and forwards on my 21 bob soon after my purchase, along with a Saddleman profiler seat. It definitely feels like a lot more control in cornering.
Excellent bike, I’ve also put forwards on, V &H slipons , ram air filter and luggage rack, just coming up to 5000 miles since purchasing beginning of June 2020, many long trips camping in and around the West Country, sounds and looks awesome in Spruce colour. Definitely recommend forward controls !!
sweet, this is what I'm aiming for ( im 6'1") already have the hollywood bars, i think my riding has gotten a lot more aggressive since mounting them, i think the clutch cable are a wee bit to long but works fine, also have the cruise control, and heated grips ( im in sweden, getting cold in the mornings here ) the boards/forwards is really what im missing the most right now.. good to hear the setup was indeed very comfy. great vlog.keep em up!
Just found a couple of your blogs, very nice, Ive just returned from NZ and sold my 2017 Breakout, was a pig cornering, always scraping the pegs, so i m thinking about getting a Street Bob and adding forward controls and the Hollywood bars, one question, how do you plug the hole left in the primary cover from the conversion, ive seen 2 now and they look horrible with just a hole
Footboards are Not available as a Standard part with forward Controll. What part Number has Been used on This Bike to Fit FootBoard? Thanks in Advance :)
I’d like to do forward controls on my street bob. Do you know how much it cost him to do the forwards? Also what is your opinion of doing mini floorboards. I thought about it but wasn’t sure if it would ruin the minimal look of the street bob.
William Hyland tbh the boards are not my style but they are comfortable. So from what I can remember the whole setup cost around £300 but I know the Fat Bob forward controls fit so all you need to do is buy the full Fat Bob Components and it’s the same. That’s whit I’ll end up doing.
Boards are much more functional I must admit they're almost like extended mid controls in a way. I have forward controls with my bob without boards and i feel alittle windswept in comparison and when you pin the throttle its a struggle to hold on lol! Nice vids bud keep up the good work 🤘
Thanks buddy, yeah even with mids it can be a bit sketchy at high speeds. I like the boards but they dont really suit my style if you know what i mean?! ;)
Great review there. I have watched all your videos and they are really well put together. I've been thinking about getting the Hollywood handlebars for my Street Bob, though the apes do give it that unique look. I did find the hand position more comfortable compared to the apes. I haven't ridden one with the Hollywood handlebars though. How much better were they compared to the stock bars? Are you planning to changeover to the Hollywood bars too? Ride safe, and thanks once more for your videos.
Avi Nath so in terms of comfort I’d say they are equal. But with apes you are sat back in the seat, Hollywood you are more forward. It’s really a matter of opinion. Personally I prefer the ape look and that style of riding position. But for control the lower drag bar riding position I find make the bike a bit easier to handle in the corners. But honestly not enough for me to change my bars. Hollywood bars wee a little wide for me but again that’s just my personal preference. Kieth the owner is much taller and the whole bike fits him better👌 Cheers for watching. Thanks for the lovely words! Stay safe out there brother 🤘
Well done good video now you know how it is with forward controls on the streetbob. Upgrade shocks forward controls clip on bars you already have stage 2 and tada FXRS a lot cheaper than 21 grand or what your friend has include saddle bags touring seat and for under 21 grand Roadking custom. Image your bike with forwards, clip on's, drag pipes, custom paint and those wheels you want also progressive suspension 😎 Dear Santa!
Alan Crane haha not wrong there...forwards are going on in the spring I think! £3k on wheels, we will see. Think I’ll start with a swing arm bag and then possibly a sissy with a sissy bag!🤘

His bike looks fucking gorgeous. Probably the best looking thing I've seen in my life.

Im not sure as Ive witnessed the same. I guess HD will do something for it, a cap or bolt of some sort?
Awesome video! What is the brand of the floorboards

The Hollywood bars really give that street Bob a unique look. On a side note I would get a flush gas cap.

William Hyland mini boards are ok but again my taste is club style and small pegs? 👌
What forward controls are those ? I'am not in Europe so I 'am trying to get options for my SOftail Low Rider, Thanks !
I bought a street bob but want to swap to Hollywood bars. Where did your friend get them from?

Do you know if he had to replace the clutch cable and brake cable with the Hollywood Bars or not ? Thanks
No need to change the cables, all good to go! :)

That looked fun man🤘🤘
Hi there. were can i purchase that exhaust?
hello, can you pass the link of the product... the link of the advanced controls. Thank you
What brand are the floorboards?
Wouldn't it be a better deal if he just buy a Slim instead? It comes stock with that handle bar + forward control & big fuel tank
Krazed Rider he did contemplate that but the FXBB handles much better so modded yo fit 🤘
Are the Forward Controls stock, or has he bought aftermarket, if so what and how much ?
John Davies all bought from HD as separate parts, not EMO. Cost about £400-£500. FatBob emo forwards which will fit cost around £700-£750
Brand of floorboards??pls & ty
Is this a Hollywood bar ?
Jayraj Berde yes

Road Rash HD in the spring my Friend 🤘🤘🤘
Come on SBV, they’re Hollywoods not drag bars.
Not a good idea for safe riding.
