Just bought the M440i, and I'd call it a, very well designed and impressive jack of all trades: Ride, comfort, tech, and engine. They all come together flawlessly on the M440i. And BMW was right to give the 440 an M badge. It earns it. It may not be an M4, but it has plenty of power right at launch. (I traded in a 2019 Ford Mustang GT convertible for this. And burning up gas in a 5 liter V8 was a waste of money. That engine and drivetrain was a mess compared to this masterpiece. )
Well I'll be hornswoggled, I'm 71 and always called it nitch. Dang, teaching an old dawg new tricks. BUT - the dictionary looks like it allows BOTH. niche /niCH,nēSH/
As a 6ft 3 person, that model may have shrunk the interior dimensions from my 4 Series cabrio -prior gen model. That said, how many convertibles have u been able to sit in the back seat comfortably? I have found these vehicles a marvel of packaging and a long way from kiddie seats (read Mustang or Camaro here, lol)
Hi, I drove an Audi A5 convertible last year and the boot space was like fitting one large luggage. I am thinking of renting a BMW for a road trip. but most convertibles (4 series) are hard tops. In this, if you still have, can you check if a luggage can fit in?
Dang good video - subbed. Looking at the Z4 M40i, but I prefer the (1) neck warmer (2) panel that covers the roof when down (3) wood interior option (4) wireless charger (5) better looking paint options, but could do without the back seats and ugly grill (stupid design by BMW). If the Z4 offered those things that the M440i offers, then I would prefer the Z4. Trying to find a replacement for my 2006 SLK350 Mercedes that I've owned for 13 years, and so far, these are my only 2 possible choices. Thanks for the video.
If the Audi HAD the same horsepower as the BMW, the BMW would get charbroiled easily… I just don’t know why Audi undercuts their HP against the competition.

I’ve got a lovely white one and I absolutely love it. I can’t fall the car. I recommend it to everybody.
❤❤❤❤
Thank you for pronouncing niche (neesh) and NOT nitch. 👍🏻

niche

He still pronounced coupe as 'coop' though.
Both ways are correct. Google is your friend.
Excellent review. I have a 2018 430i x drive, and looking at these M440’s which was now available off lease CPO.

Fellow 6"3 here, can you fit comfortably in the driver's seat of this car?
@@nilan3294 yes no problem fitting and in fact could squeeze a passenger behind me for a short tour.
Nice green color love it
That is the best color combination in my opinion, in a sunny day that color really shines!!!🙂
I thought we had a sneaky miata sighting at 5:50 but I think it was a z4

Is there a tin top version instead of cloth?
You are awesome. Concise and riveting review
No windscreen connected in the back seat is just silly in a vert. That's a piece that is required to be in place when topless.
What do you mean? Why and how would the windscreen be connected to the back seat?
@@Bob3D2000 It comes with one in the trunk. You have to install it.,
Thank you for review and the video!

the new toyota supra is basically a bmw z4 m40i u may as well consider it :D
I'm so high I thought u were Doug demouro for a minute
Can it be a family car?
Black seat belts make the interior look cheap, they should match the colour of the main hide
Thanks I like this😂😊
Simply fucking awesome!!! Hello from Brazil 👏 👏
Beautiful
what’s your height?

I still can't get over the grill
😮😮😮 I love that grill !! Give some character to the car.😎
God Bless BMWs Amen 🚘
And I thought the 3 series was small inside lol
you lost me at "fabric roof"
The roof has polymer in it. The sections lock when it is closed. It is quiet and secure.
They overdid it with that grille, just too much going on
Nice chick car chad
Audi doesn’t look good at all
I wish they could Get Rid Of That Grill. The car is nice but the grill is called trash can 🗑
Ugly front end.
DISGUSTING!!!!!!
BMW are crap
