  • JFK’s Final Night Alive and Last Speech Locations - Hotel Texas in Fort Worth. Visiting the JFK memorial outside of the current Hilton Fort Worth once known as Hotel Texas. They have a beautiful memorial and state right outside the hotel where he made his second to last speech. We then take you on a tour of the INSIDE of the hotel to see where exactly JFK slept the last night of his life and well as the Chrystal Ballroom where he ate his last meal and made his final speech to 2,000 people before driving off to Dallas on that fatal day. Walk the final steps of JFk in Fort Worth with us.

I hate to burst your bubble. But that statue of JFK is NEAR the spot where he gave his outdoor speech. Not the exact spot. In 1963 the front of the hotel was a parking lot. JFK gave his speech in front of the hotel. Not where his statue is today. JFK statue is facing west off to the side. But his statue should be in front of the hotel facing south. And Fort Worth is the 13th largest city in the U.S. and Dallas is the 9th largest city in the U.S. Almost equal in size. Fort Worth is quickly gaining in size as Dallas in population.

Nick, what an eerie thought... while he was merrily talking to the crowds, his assassination was being fine-tuned. This whole thing is part of our history. Thank you for taking us to such interesting, diverse locations, and providing audio and visuals, when possible.... Elvis's path was tragic, too, in many ways. I read once that he always felt "a sense of unwarranted guilt" 🙏 that he lived and his twin brother died. another great video 👏☀️🌟

The platform JFK and LBJ are standing on are clearly directly in front of the hotel door. So the aspect of the statue is not accurate. Great statue though.

How our country could go from the most charming, charismatic, and classy president we’ve ever had (Kennedy) to the most ill-mannered, know-nothing, obnoxious blowhard in Donald Trump is mind-boggling. I will say, however, that Lyndon Johnson was about as ill-mannered as Trump. Our two most corrupt presidents have been 1) Lyndon Johnson and 2) Donald Trump.

Nick: your narration at 1:09 is incorrect: President Kennedy's Air Force One landed at Ft. Worth's Carswell AFB - not Love Field in Dallas - late in the evening of Thursday, November 21, 1963.
