I modified one of these models. Added Grover Tuners a Tusq nut and seymour duncan pups. Done by a luthier. It came up like an absolute beast. Good as is but great mod platform.
@Gefrocks17 Would you be able to find out what store and where this SX LP was purchased? Would like to avail of same in black. Yes the neck is king. Everything else, pickups, hardware is easy to come by, hard to find a guitar that feels good playing.
@@gefrocks173Thanks for the reply. Recently experienced the grounding issue with a new SX Les Paul at JB two weeks ago. The hum was loud. The salesperson said it was "because the amp was on distortion setting." Humbuckers? Humming? But when you would touch the jack plate the hum would go away. What I've been hearing is that not grounding the strings is a safety issue so the player does not conduct voltage, that grounding strings uses the player as the shield when the factory should've spent the money shielding the control cavities and using shielded cable for the pickups instead. Many real Gibsons are not string/bridge grounded from the factory.

Good review. You're right about the SX Telecasters playing and sounding nice. The basses, SX makes a Warwick Pnut copy 5 -string which is pretty good. The inside of that black Paul looks like someone swapped pickups at one time. That doesn't look like it would come like that from the factory. If so shame on them but it looks like someone did some experimenting, played around with wiring. And the no-stop pots looks like a syndrome of the pot shaft getting yanked out of position when the knobs were taken off the splines, the shaft went with them. Glad you got the guitar to shine.

The title says "Deep Dive Honest Review" and sinabi naman niya sa 9:23 kung bakit niya ginagawa tong video. Isa ka sa mga taong makuda din pero walang laman o walang sustansya yung utak. Nagsayang ka lang ng oras sa panunuod at pag comment.
Ok naman.. kaso may nasabi syang parang hindi maganda ..don sa part na madadagdagan na naman ang tabaho niya dahil don sa wiring at mga pots no problema.. kasi ang dating parang nagreklamo sya.. sana wag na lang magbanggit ng ganun.. imho😊..peace out..
