A couple of things: Everything Jesus actually said in the New Testament could be recited in about an hour and a half. Surely He taught more than that. He had three years to do it. You call it the most astounding prophecy, although I would suggest for timing accuracy, perhaps a greater one is one given in the book of Daniel: from the date that the King of gives the decree for the Jewish people to return to Israel and rebuild the Temple and the wall of the city to the date that Messiah the prince would be announced would be 69 weeks of years, and this was fulfilled to the day when Jesus rode in to Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey -- the margin for error is zero! What are your thoughts on near death experiences? I had one 3 years ago. Before that I lived in fear of dying so much I would have panic attacks thinking about it. Now I understand and I am no longer afraid. In fact I have almost like a survivors guilt. I know your timeline is not right because of the first Step of the Rapture is a miss understanding of 1 Th 4:16. This is the second and only coming of Jesus. And when it says caught up with the lord it’s Greek for we will be so excited for his arrival that we won’t wait for him to get all the way back to earth we will run to him so we can be with him as he enters. It has nothing to do with being raptured.

Here’s a better one: 2Peter 3:15-19 says that one of the faults of reading Paul’s letters will be that the reader will turn away from the Torah and become lawless. Lawless means without Torah. No prophesy in the bible qualifies as astounding. You're indulging in a fallacy called Selection Bias, otherwise known as cherry picking, finding what you insist is signal when it's just part of the noise.
And something being "astounding" is not a feature in any case. There's a kind of circus hucksterism here that might appeal to the credulous, but surely not to any thinking person. Real knowledge, that we can count on, is built on existing knowledge and fits closely to it. If we had already catalogued, say, 1000 species of goldfish, and then someone were to discover and classify a new species, sure, if the guy has done his work carefully, that's probably a legitimate new species. We'll check to make sure, but it seems promising.
If he were to declare thst some species of leopard was a kind of goldfish, now that would certainly be an ASTONISHING claim. And it would probably be wrong.

You call it the most astounding prophecy, although I would suggest for timing accuracy, perhaps a greater one is one given in the book of Daniel: from the date that the King of gives the decree for the Jewish people to return to Israel and rebuild the Temple and the wall of the city to the date that Messiah the prince would be announced would be 69 weeks of years, and this was fulfilled to the day when Jesus rode in to Jerusalem on the foal of a donkey -- the margin for error is zero! Praise God, He's never wrong!

What are your thoughts on near death experiences? I had one 3 years ago. Before that I lived in fear of dying so much I would have panic attacks thinking about it. The problem is that there is way too much dogma surrounding specific eschatological views. As awesome as it would be to be dogmatic about a specific end-time viewpoint, it's only possible if you ignore all of the opposing views. This professor isn't lying; he is just being dogmatic where he shouldn't be. It's okay to have a preferred view of eschatology, but it is disingenuous to present any specific view of eschatology as being THE correct view.

I know your timeline is not right because of the first Step of the Rapture is a miss understanding of 1 Th 4:16. This is the second and only coming of Jesus. And when it says caught up with the lord it’s Greek for we will be so excited for his arrival that we won’t wait for him to get all the way back to earth we will run to him so we can be with him as he enters. It has nothing to do with being raptured.
