All of it and i'm not even halfway through! I had to pause out of sheer relief at the "no plastic surgery" remark. Thank goodness! a) because she is freaking STUNNING as is, but b) as someone who is not from the US (or UK) i personally find the whole plastic surgery thing totally disturbing on so many levels..! Yet no-one ever seems to talk about it..! Like it's yet another one of those 'open secrets' - it's so obvious but you can't acknowledge it or be seen to be questioning someone's choice to do it, and that it's somehow "anti-women" to challenge it... 🤔
This is not a judgement on people who choose it but a horror at the state of a (ahem, patriarchal) culture that has normalised it to the extent that women freely allow themselves to 'melt' their faces, reduce their ability to smile, speak, or frown, to express themselves and accept their own faces, their genes, their innate beauty and humanity, and their *totally valid and normal* ageing selves... So many ahas so far, i didn't think this would be the one i would comment on - but i am happy to be perpetually surprised..! 😆🤷🏻‍♀️
I adore PCW - LOVED her last interview and her approach to wealth as wellbeing, and super happy you got her back on...so thank you. And no offence meant to those who have chosen (or felt pressured into having) plastic surgery, just a reflection that while it may be what's 'normal' and expected in some places, it is NOT the only option..! 💓🙏🌸

Sharon Stone was a late bloomer in making it in Hollywood. In an interview she said her breakthrough came, when she told herself all the things people said to her for years. She said she had heard a thousand times "You are too tall, too thin, too blonde, too beautiful, not pretty enough, too big, too short, too sexy, not sexy enough...." One day she just decided not to give a sh*t anymore if she was too much or too little of anything and then everything changed.

Being assertive is one thing but being kind is different. It comes from good manners and politeness so you can be assertive and be polite. You can collaborate without feeling offeneded, because if you feeling offened it means that before you start to work with anyone you need to heal some aspect of yourself. (Shadowwork)

Remember that you don’t attract what you want, you attract who you are. So focus on love. Focus on happiness. Focus on feeling fulfilled and like you already have everything you’ve ever wanted. Focus on gratitude. You are a powerful source of energy. When you do this, you will get what you want because you are in alignment and focusing on all you have instead of a lack. Just know you have everything you have ever wanted. It’s already yours . Be joyful!

I feel like I'm that person, I have a lot of knowledge, but I still worry about being perceived of as "nice". I'm finding my purpose, but it's taking some work.

For me its: "If you say that you believe in something then make time to practice it" and "What truth do you hold dear" around 39:00, and especially "Do you have something that you can lean on in tough times?"!!! I think that is a good question for oneself and others, instead of giving one's own advice. I will be subscribing to Patrice's podcast. New fan!

What others think does not matter and YOUR people will be YOUR people. I say this to myself all of the time and have put it in a book I’m writing. However, it’s always great to hear it from someone else. So, today it was good to hear it from someone other than myself.

Her approach reminds of how appropriate it is to learn to "follow before you lead." Once you've it all down pat, have that respected position and once acquired a name for oneself, yeah, be yourself. But, without credentials or clear abilities or expertise, you'll look unprofessional. That's how it was for me. The issue is that if I looked a certain way, I wouldn't be taken seriously. After establishing myself, the confidence excuded no matter what I was wearing.

The problem with the general public is they think every brand/business should be for everyone. It would be ok if these same people weren't so damaging to brands. Whatever happened to spend your money elsewhere if you don't like the brand? And yet they actually do like the brand and they are just sad and angry that the brand isn't for them. I can't imagine going into a luxury car dealership and making a scene because the brand is out of reach for me yet this is essentially what people do on social media to brands.

Love that I caught yet another amazing interview! Im sooo excited to get my book I pre-ordered 🤗🤗 I missed the gift Patrice gave to the Pre-order supporters in January because im working so hard on my own projects that I missed the emails. Anyway, I am a huge fan of doing the inner work to optimize your life and how your feel on a day to day basis so the SUPER NUGGET that I got from this interview was " Your Business is only going to grow to the extent that you are willing to Heal!" 🤯🤯🤯🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌠🌠🌠👊🏾👊🏾😎

Man, when she talked about letting go of what she THOUGHT her purpose should look like. I felt that! It is so confusing like she said. It really does feel like you’re an imposter, wearing a costume. I felt that in my soul fr.

    Lisa,
This was a fantastic interview with Patrice.
She has come so far since your first interview and her pillars are written like gospel.
I loved her quote about purpose that she mentions about 20 minutes in.
She says “Purpose will connect you to people you’re supposed to serve”.
I made 3 pages of notes today from your interview.
Thank you for impacting my life as well as the lives of so many others.
    Kind Regards,
    Lisa :-)
