I love the enthusiasm from a grown man for a child's toy. Just goes to show there's always that little boy in us and long may it stay there. I'm sure it's what keeps us young. Great vid and I like the gold one best.
You do some awesome stuff with die cast. I Thoroughly enjoy all the content. When it comes to die cast you’re my number one go to. Thank you for all the amazing content
That gold is sick, on the sides it looked more like the OG color but never have I seen anyone make it Gold Brick shaded...it looks like new gold. Kudos old man for knocking this one out of the park! and 35K!!! you are killin it!
Love the color, i had a 70 mercury cougar eliminator the same color with a vinyl top. The t-bird came out way cool. Brown looks real good too! P.s. i love the muscle cars to.
I think it came out great. I can't decide between the two T-Birds, either. Thanks for sharing, your videos are a lot of fun to watch, and , the engine noises are what we all did as kids with these and Matchbox cars.
1st let me say thank you for sharing your videos with us. I love the work you normally do. But you need to slow down brother. I felt that you rushed this project out. You pushed yourself at 3am. I would rather wait for you to have the time you need than for you to feel like you have to get a video out. Remember we're your fans. We can wait for you. So don't feel like your under pressure to kick out videos. This is your hobby, not your job. If you push yourself to hard you'll just get tired of doing that. I don't want to see you get burnt out I like your videos to much. Just put out the videos when you have time. Keep up the great work.
I appreciate that man, i gotta work around drying times, if i do just a top coat its easy. Start adding clear and vinyl tops it adds extra days on etc. Just trying to stay on top of it :D
I agree. I just found this channel and watched you do the brown one. This one seemed like you were rushed. Not doing the full dip on the windshield just brushing it to save time was an example.
Totally...And show everything...People online are always "Well I'll skip this part cos it will bore you" or speed it up X2. When for newbs and kids watching, they can't then gauge how long something takes to happen, like paint stripping the full reaction takes a certain amount of time ...and if you must edit for time at least give it the "5 minutes later" spongebob filler insert...
I love how you keep a good attitude with a car that fought every step of the way. BTW, drop the base in some water/baking soda solution after the Lime Out to neutralize it! Then just wash and polish!
The way you do these videos is unique. Your passion for what you do is obvious. You could paint a car luminous pink & I’d give it a thumbs up! Top job!👍👍👍
Honestly, as worn as that car was it makes me happy. Think about all the play and joy it brought a kid, and now it's doing the same for thousands more people decades later.
I like both of them. Those hoods really surprised me. I only bought 1 replacement hood 4 a firebird. I got lucky and it didn't break. Haven't painted it yet. Excellent work 👍👍👍👍👍.
The t bird, kinda looks like the colour of beer....my mouth started watering, almost instantly. I like the brown interior, it’s similar to what we would call a “ginger” interior, in the Maverick world. Awesome as usual!
The Root Beer Brown car definitely looks better, and I don't say that simply because I love root beer! The gold car looks good, but I think the brown just looks better. Great vid man! Keep up the good work!
Glad you pointed out that the replacement hood was very fragile. buying 3 hoods was almost like you knew you were gonna have issues. too bad you dont have an opening hood to play with but the gold turned out nice with the touch of rootbeer. looking forward to the Eliminator custom paint hope it is one of the factory grabber colors
I like the kid- like sound effects, awesome! Gold color paint is very cool. They should make plastic hoods in flat black . At least they would not easily break as crappy pure zinc ones do.
Awesome man! I love your commentary , allways makes me laugh! I like both t-birds ,you could swap interiors and they would still work! Can't wait to see what you do with the eliminator!
Good vid as usual. We expect an Oscar nomination at some point for "Best Special Effects" and "Best Display of Black Latex Gloves in a Non-Medical Scene" - I would like to know what the RRS did about the trash hoods. I mean that first one destroyed itself.
Love your talent with cars and the quality of your videos. Keep up the good work. Your videos are worth the wait. Would love the opportunity to acquire some of your cars for my collection.
@Diecast Resurrection - dude: back in the day I washed a few vinyl tops. In SoCal (Southern California) those tops would start cooking right off the showroom floor because sunshine. Your vinyl top is perfect. Those tops would be flaking away in a year btw and there were maybe 13 people in L.A. who did vinyl tops and it was not cheap. Carry on, eh?
I think I especially like the brown one. Maybe because I am biased, I have one of those myself. But the yellow one looks pretty good too. I kind of like the color and looks good on that car.
I've got the best subs! Love you guys!! 🍺🍺😍😍😍🚗🚗🚗🚗
I would have painted the hood scoop also but that what I would do if I know how to do kind work ... but your car looks bad ass good work.
Root beer is the best colour!!!
Diecast Resurrection do you have an any account or Facebook
Redline Gold, Yellow & Copper are real close. Maybe that T-Bird is yellow.
Diecast Resurrection and I’ve got the best Red Line Resurrector
Those hoods are about as tough as tortilla chips
I broke a tooth eating a tortilla chip last night ... pretty tough. Lol.
@@pedrodelacabra1855 or pretty rotten teeth,,,just saying
Pedro Delacabra: Curious if your salsa was acrylic or lacquer?
Didn't have any salsa ... that must have been the problem.
I wonder if all their parts are that cheap.
One of the best things about DR is that you let us hear the machinery and not crazy music.
The DR is in!
I never fail to laugh at least once when watching your vidios! I love it!
Which part this time?
Mudd butt for me lol
Mud butt.
Popping the roof zit! Cracked me up!
I love the enthusiasm from a grown man for a child's toy.
Just goes to show there's always that little boy in us and long may it stay there. I'm sure it's what keeps us young.
Great vid and I like the gold one best.
Respect, man. I would've simply exploded in rage at the first breaking of the hood. Kudos on that nonchalance.
Very beautiful both of them
❤
"Screw you, hood." The perfect sentiment.
Car sound effects to start video....Rad!
Totally digging the root beer brown but the gold one is awesome too. Damn cheap hoods.
The gold is beautiful, I'd call it metallic butterscotch, but the root beer one is sexy.
Of all the resto channels i follow you are the most entertaining , no lie. grtz from Belgium
You do some awesome stuff with die cast. I Thoroughly enjoy all the content. When it comes to die cast you’re my number one go to. Thank you for all the amazing content
They both look great! Im glad you are customizing the cougar. That robins egg blue takes the muscle right out of that car!
Great vid. Those reproduction hoods are straight trash.
I like the custom gold on the brown interior. The black turned out much better as well. Can not wait to see your take on the next car.
That gold is sick, on the sides it looked more like the OG color but never have I seen anyone make it Gold Brick shaded...it looks like new gold. Kudos old man for knocking this one out of the park! and 35K!!! you are killin it!
I think this is your best video yet! Love the commentary and the engine sound effects. I like the paint.
Gold and olive green metal flake remind me of the 70's. Nice job!
That turned out brilliantly! Gorgeous colour! Love it!
I have been amused and entertained. Like that goldish golden gold. Groovy.
Love the color, i had a 70 mercury cougar eliminator the same color with a vinyl top. The t-bird came out way cool. Brown looks real good too! P.s. i love the muscle cars to.
There is No. END. TO. THE. EXCELLENCE. OF. THESE. VIDS. PERIOD. KUDOS.
Interesting experiments with the hood ... another wicked awesome paint job. Looking forward to the next one. Sounds like fun.
Really great job, Dr. Diecast. I like the root beer brown because of the white interior.
I think it came out great. I can't decide between the two T-Birds, either. Thanks for sharing, your videos are a lot of fun to watch, and , the engine noises are what we all did as kids with these and Matchbox cars.
They look good together. Thanks for sharing.

It looks good! Better then you think! Had you not mentioned and showed it I wouldn't have known ! It looks really good ! I would display it!
The way you do these videos is unique. Your passion for what you do is obvious. You could paint a car luminous pink & I’d give it a thumbs up! Top job!👍👍👍
Thundetbirds rule, im an old ford guy. Gold and black is great color combo. Keep up with the great vidios.
Hi your resurrections are really fantastic I enjoy watching you and learning thank you for being here I like the root beer one
They both look good with a slight lean to the brown one. Good job! Nice cars!
I like the color! Good job!
Wow the hoods breaking that sucks. Both are awesome leaning towards the root beer.
Honestly, as worn as that car was it makes me happy. Think about all the play and joy it brought a kid, and now it's doing the same for thousands more people decades later.
That gold is Missouri Tigers gold. Looks awesome.
Mizzou!
BuccaneerBruce

That black and gold also was(don’t know if it still is)- the University City colors. ( U.City, St.L. County)🙂

What a coincidence, it's dinner time here in Eastern Australia and I'm eating pasta with meatballs watching this lol.
Awesome build Jimmy...I think both cars are spot on...👍👍
Thanks for getting me into this I love it
Most excellnt resto! The dialog is just the best ...make me just lmao! Can't wait for next project!
More patience than me! After the first hood I would've just given up and turned it into a custom hoodless low rider xD
I edited out all the swearing .. lol
Awesome video and love the color on the T Bird ...
I like both of them. Those hoods really surprised me. I only bought 1 replacement hood 4 a firebird. I got lucky and it didn't break. Haven't painted it yet. Excellent work 👍👍👍👍👍.
The root beer brown is my favorite of the two I’d put the brown interior in it. Would love to see you do a custom with a white vinyl top.
The t bird, kinda looks like the colour of beer....my mouth started watering, almost instantly. I like the brown interior, it’s similar to what we would call a “ginger” interior, in the Maverick world. Awesome as usual!
Now that...is really FREAKIN sweet !!!
Both look great. Rootbeer is one of my favorite colors.
The Root Beer Brown car definitely looks better, and I don't say that simply because I love root beer! The gold car looks good, but I think the brown just looks better. Great vid man! Keep up the good work!
I'd display both! Excellent work!!
That color looks awesome
Both are great, but the Gold looks spot on.

Love your videos! Glad you show all the steps! 👍🏻
Hey Mr Diecast resurrection, digging the shape shifting gold looks really cool.😎😎😎😎
Another great job. Both Cougars compliment each other. I don’t have a favorite either. They are both badass. Thanks for another entertaining vid. ✌🏼
Awesome restoration! I love the car you restored! Awesome place to work and awesome job restoring that car! Love the video like always!
Both look great.
Wonderful restmods. I think I prefer the Gold but I also like the Root Beer!

Love the color
T-Bird will be awesome once you’re finished.
Great job I like the color. I also had a 1960s bicycle that color lol back in the day !!
Nice work sir!!!
Love them both. Thanks for the videos.
I like the gold. Happy accidents. Best diecast channel. Keep being yourself.
Should really go to sleep but I saw you had a video up and had to watch it
I think it looks perfect , it's not so yellow as the other T-bird it's more of an orange gold which I think looks better 👍great job Ace !
Really like the gold, but both look great!
both look awesome! 😊
I think the colour is correct. And I love how the pair of tbird looks
Awesome man! I love your commentary , allways makes me laugh! I like both t-birds ,you could swap interiors and they would still work! Can't wait to see what you do with the eliminator!

Looks great to me, color is unique!
I prefer the root beer brown. One of my favorite colors you've done. Great work on this one also.
Great rescue. I would love to start collecting Redline models
Looks good man.
Great video. Like you work. This video helped a lot. I have this t-bird and it's time to do a resto on her. Thank you for your videos.
Good vid as usual. We expect an Oscar nomination at some point for "Best Special Effects" and "Best Display of Black Latex Gloves in a Non-Medical Scene" - I would like to know what the RRS did about the trash hoods. I mean that first one destroyed itself.
I really like the gold I think you did a wonderful job looks great. 👍
Nice restorations!! I'm liking the gold one better. I'll have to try that lime out method for for removing the oxidation from my chassis next time.
God!! Stop going on about the color already!! It looks awesome the color you made it !! 👍👍 Two thumbs up. Great job !!😀
Love your talent with cars and the quality of your videos. Keep up the good work. Your videos are worth the wait. Would love the opportunity to acquire some of your cars for my collection.
Both those TBirds are great dude. Love your videos, make my day. You take care as always from South Africa
Love that colour
@Diecast Resurrection - dude: back in the day I washed a few vinyl tops. In SoCal (Southern California) those tops would start cooking right off the showroom floor because sunshine. Your vinyl top is perfect. Those tops would be flaking away in a year btw and there were maybe 13 people in L.A. who did vinyl tops and it was not cheap. Carry on, eh?
That gold one is solid my G
friend very good job congratulations until next time
looks unique. better than what it looked like at the start.the darker than bird
I think I especially like the brown one. Maybe because I am biased, I have one of those myself. But the yellow one looks pretty good too. I kind of like the color and looks good on that car.
