I never heard about the Mesmerizer lens! This is stunning.
I am bookmarking these and gleefully await a re-watch if I get my sadly backordered Remus 45mm lens soon! Thank you these are great as usual very helpful.
Adjusting pincushion changes your headroom. So planning on correcting either can be frustrating on set if you’re exacting about framing.
Honestly this series is priceless, thank you for posting what you learn for us to enjoy!
So useful!! Thank you!
Brilliant work, mate! 🙏🏻👍
thanks tito!
If you're building lens distortion profiles ahead of time, does focus distance have any potential effect on the amount of distortion? I've been using Maxon / Red Giant's Lens Distortion Matcher, so I've not made profiles, but I've been thinking about it.
Excellent question. Short answer: yes, focus distance plays into it for synchro focus setups. I'll cover that in the next episode. I just started using Red Giant's lens distortion tool, so I'm still learning about that! hahaha
Which is the software allowing skew correction ? I have distorted videos because of a badly set anamorphic 1.33 lens
You can do it in After Effects and Resolve pretty easily.

Thanks, I'll try that.
