  • Low end cameras sell cheap new, and certainly don't appreciate over time. and with this unit assumed to be broken, I got it for the price of free. Proving that you don't even have to have money to be a photographer, how does this low end, obscure camera from the late 2000s hold up? Today we find out.
    Soundtrack: A few songs from Cassiopeia Album "Mint Jams" and a song called "hometown dreams" by vincent something. and the intro music is an original composition by me :)

    I Just got one for R$5,00
    wasn't working but nothing that some wires, a Nokia battery and tape don't solve. I really liked this camera.
    The low quality is visible but the quality of the colors is beautiful. Some of my photos surpassed my 16 MP J5 Prime quality in color and aperture.
    Added a micro SD with a adapter and anytime i just pop the micro SD and transfer the data to my phone.
    You are right, a low end but funny camera
    For sure worth R$5,00.

      heyyy i just bought one and it doesn’t turn on when i put batteries in :/ is there a way to fix it

    • @darkvantage2019
      @darkvantage2019 2 года назад

      @@azizaishambayeva2910 try cleaning the terminals first.
      Soak a Q tip on a little bit of Isopropyl Alcohol and rub it on the terminals.
      If that doesn't work, disassemble the camera(CAREFULLY! SPECIALLY WITH THE MODE SELECTION WEEL, because it can move out of the original position and you won't be able to select some options) and see if there is any broken wires or corroded terminals.
      Now if everything is ok and still nothing, try doing this
      Take two wires and try to lock them on the terminals( Red on the positive, Black on the negative) i wrapped them around the terminal and made a small knot so they don't escape (CAREFULLY!² DONT LET THOSE WIRES(the exposed part) TOUCH EACHOTHER)
      Now with these two wires out of the battery casing, try to connect a phone battery to it
      ATTENTION! The minimal voltage for it is 3V and the MAXIMUM IS 3.8V
      _DO NOT APPLY MORE VOLTAGE_
      Now try to turn it on, if it works try and tape the battery to the side of the camera, with the wires connected to the battery and all.
      To recharge the battery all you need is a _universal cellphone battery charger_ (you can find it online)
      And that's it.

      @@darkvantage2019 Is the terminals where i put the batteries in? i tried cleaning it and it still isn't working. :(

    • @darkvantage2019
      @darkvantage2019 Год назад

      @@moi7649 yes, try scrubbing some Isopropyl Alcohol but if really necessary (too dirty even after the alcohol) take a piece of steel wool and with the disassembled camera, reach the terminals and scrub them untill all the gunk is gone( kinda shiny, but don't ovedo it _AND DO NOT LET ANY PIECE OF THE STEEL WOOL LEFT BEHIND_ , clean everything and close the camera again)
      Also something that i've discovered, Duracell batteries have a higher chance of working on those cameras, so check the batteries that you put in there because that could also be the problem.

    Hi. For some reason my side buttons don’t work, the top ones will. And it’ll take a picture if you hold the button in. But the side buttons won’t work, any thoughts?

      Do you mean the buttons that face you when using the camera? I'm thinking a bad cable or button mechanism. That's a really strange issue
