51 seconds into the video.........you two are a very well matched couple.......I envy you both - a long time viewer.
My absolute favorite sailing channel!
The steam coming of that soup...Psychological heaven!
To all the other sailing channels out there, this is how you do it!!
Thank you David!
I just love Pascals giggle.
At my advanced age, I don't envy your shenanigans on, and under water. But I do have a very satisfying feeling that you young-uns are living great lives into the New Milennium. For those that seek it, the _Good Days_ aren't just in the _Old Days._
We are anti sadists, we know you are enjoying your 'suffering' more than we are enjoying our daily lives.
Your channel is the most authentic sailing channel on UTube.
And the underwater/food/swell/pure sailing footage kills it!
It is not that I want to see you two suffer. It is that you two really sail.!
"They're delicious too, which is unfortunate for them..." - yes, that's what I'm here for. Go, Troy and Pascale.
Hay guys what a wonderful small sailboat with a wonderful young lady to help you out when you need it... I like your video's so much keep them coming ok???
I am so happy to see you sailing again. Thank you for taking us along on you adventures.
A spacious rain locker attached to a 40 gal water heater, a washing machine and dryer would be coveted. I had to chuckle at the "Home Cooked Meal". Thems crocodile tears. LOL
Love this channel! ❤️ I also love Sailing into Freedom - ep. 333 - left me smiling for hours
This is what I like fishing, calm bays, , diving, and warm weather. Thanks
Breathtakingly beautiful
T-shirt ordered and I'm happy to support such a great endeavor.
Nice friendly neighbors those lobsters!
Fish heads, fish heads, rolly-polly fish heads, fish heads, fish heads, eat them up, yum!
Love the sailing sequences and am constantly impressed with how swift and well balanced Mirrool is, watching how light the helm is. Reminds me so much of the boat my Dad had built in 1960 and the shape was almost the same as Mirrool, just slightly bigger at 34'6. We kept her for 46 years as she was such a joy to sail. Mum only sold her because she was 78.
Great to see out sailing again.
Great sailing vid clip. Fair winds and following seas for you two lovelys.
Great episode guys ✌️ 🌞 ✨ ⛵️ ✨ When I can see nothing but sky from your cockpit, I know you have some big swells going on. Great photography for sure. ✨🌊⛵️🏝👙🌞✨
Just how delicious were those Lobsters 😀. You two are great!!!!
It's great to c your under water shots , I love the the West coast even though I am from east coast but spent 5 years over there and u can't beat the fishing keep going and c u soon
Great video! Keep this up! I just ordered a T-shirt, happy to help out that way.
The Sea Food King !
Bloody Ripper video. Thank you!! Cheers n beers. 🍷🍷🌹🌹🇦🇺👍🏼👍🏼
I admire you two choosing to sail off shore in a tiller steered boat of the size you sail. It is good to see a couple productively living off the sea.
Got my navy tee, man the waves were huge great sailing guys.
Hurra!!! Sailing, fishing, enjoying AGAIN!!
and surfing waves!!.. i do miss it!!! One of the BEST feelings when sailing.
Like everyone says: it is contageous! I am positivly jalous from you!!! Thanks
Loved the Spanish lobster (spiny lobster) roundup - nice size carpace - good for grilling as kabobs skewered with peppers and onions between - little salt and pepper and drizzled with honey / butter melt while cooking -- yum. Same as we do it here in the Bahamas
Loving the way you navigate your life and adapt to changing conditions.
Great to see you on the water again! I look forward to continuing with you in your adventures! Thanks
Hey guys I’m looking forward to seeing the next round 😆I’d love to see lots of fishing and more shots from the stern seat of Marrool👍
For a nice stock. Carrot. Onion. Celery. Fresh is best but powdered onion or celery will do. Half to a full teaspoon of pepper. Fresh ground is best but pre ground will do. Cover with about 3-4cm with water. I usually don't need to add salt there is enough in the meat and bones. Boil for an hour to one and a half hours depending on volume. Depending on the size of the pot makes 2-5 quarts of stock. I like a big stock pot so I get more like 5+ quarts. For meats. One or two filleted fish carcasses. A couple of lobster heads, legs, and remnants of the tail. Beef or pork bones. Leave any trimmings on as well as the fat. Lots of flavor in the fat. A well picked over chicken carcass. Half a turkey carcass. There are to many dishes to name that the various stocks can be used in. Home made stock does need to be used reasonably quickly but will keep in the ice box for upwards of a week. Btw it's nice for a warm up just heated up in a mug all by itself. I prefer chicken or beef for that. one of the really nice things about stock is you use what would be otherwise be cast off from the meats you have on hand. So you get at least 2 and up to 4-5 meals out of one batch of stock. Now That is efficiency.
Go for the "S"s. Sail - Swim -Snack -Sip (beer) Sleep. repeat!
Glad to see you two back on the move. I'm sure you enjoyed the break but it seems to me that you are both happiest when on the boat. Correct me if I'm wrong.
We admire you.
Great video! Delivered everything as promised. Cameras can't capture the magnitude of waves, but that was the best capture of the sea state I have seen.
Thanks Bob!
I was going to say something to the same effect.
Lobster! Yum yum yum.
One of the more entertaining videos we have seen in awhile on you tube. Thank you both for sharing.
Dang, even on camera those swells looked big, and cameras rarely do them justice.
One of your best mates ⚓️
Glad to see you two set sail , even though it got lumpy. Saw this somewhere - an African proverb - smooths seas do not make skilful sailers … I reckon you’ve had more than enough non-smooth seas to refine & build your skills - time for some enjoyable cruising.
Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you guys for continuing to deliver amazing content! As usual, this has been the highlight of my week!!!
An amazing video… wonderful job filming and editing. Already on par with the very best sailing channels on RUclips, they still get better with every posting. I especially appreciate the little touches that show your personalities, the love for what you do and for each other. Thank you for the hard work to let us experience your adventure with you, although vicariously. And thanks for the FRS gear! ⛵️
Thanks Ron and thank you for your generous support! Pascale
You have done a great job with the refit, sometimes the best boat to buy is the one you already own
You do have to start with something with good bones though. You can't polish a turd.
You may not be able to polish a turd, but you can roll them in glitter!
G'day folks. Calling in from across the ditch here in Nz. It's just great seeing you heading away. I had a good feeling about this episode. Sailing. Fishing. Diving. All the ingredients for a great adventure. Back to "Free Range Sailing." Take care folks. Atb from over here.
Pascal and Troy, I don't know whether I've been following you guys for to long and have now become attached to your style of video making and sailing Marool, but to see you both sailing, diving and shopping for dinner is both exciting and a bit emotional. I am so glad you've decided to go back to sea and make great programmes. The sailing and sea state sequences are so real. It's clear you both enjoy life at sea. Personally I find your work both inspirational and encouraging. Thank-you for letting us into a great way of life. Soon, however, that'll be me! David
Fabulous video, as usual. Always a peek into the sailing life . Fishing, drone cam, floundering panchetta, sailing, cooking, diving and lobstering. Thank you for letting all of us tag along on your adventures. GR022. New boat registration numbers?
Yup. WA rego
Nice show n lobsters yum
heya yes you are sailing again and doing your thing
Look at You; Season Two !!
Boat looks new and so do You
(just the smile-lines are deeper !!)
Fan-tab-ulastic. Portrait of two people relaxed and happy with each other, their chosen life and gorgeous conditions.
Thank you. Great news you are continuing into a second lap. Loving it.
I have always preferred the videos where you catch your food and cook it. Keep up the good work.
It’s truly wonderful to see you both back on the open sea! You both look relaxed and back at home! Thank you for your offer, I just ordered my long sleeve shirt for the coming cooler weather. And I ordered it in Navy blue. I looks like it will match the color of the water just off the coast of Perth. Have fun and stay safe!
Thanks for the support mate. Navy is our favourite colour!
Very nice video 👍💛
Absolutely amazing
Looking good guys.
This last few videos have resulted in a very happy satisfied smile. God bless you two. I will contribute vis PayPal. Looking forward to more videos, just catching up. I had just missed the tshirts. I signed up to be notified if you do a second run. Take care.
Hoora! Another great video. By the way, we love our FRS hoodies and hats. Thanks to both of you. And.. I would be remiss if I didnt pester Pascale one more time.. COOKBOOK!! 😁❤
Excellent as usual!!!
Hi. I saw you on Izzy's channel Sailing girls for a brief second at the end one of her videos. Nice to see you 2 again.
Lovely stuff as usual ☺️
Yep 😊all the good stuff in one video! What a magical place, these islands, and, you guys sure do eat well I say yay for some easier sailing... you still get surprises along the way no matter! 😁🤙i just bought my first frs merch! 👏🎊
Thanks so much! 😊
Hey Guys, great to see you sailing again, I half expected you to sell your boat and become landlubbers, glad I was wrong about that.
Glad you are back on the water! Loved the video, especially the underwater footage. Looking forward to what's next. Cheers for now.
Loved every second of this video ! Great to see you off on your travels again 😊👍
Stunning production 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi guys I was gunna say get your salty arses back out there for more but youse are doing it I was recovering from a hernia operation and binged on your stuff about 100 ep in a couple of days love it cheers from rockhampton
Best scenery, seafood, and sailing video in a long time! I'm guessing some of your mental bandwidth is restored after completing the refit, somewhat hurried shakedown, and good family visit!
Definitely enjoying a much slower pace as we cruise up the WA coast!
Always wonderful stories told by a wonderful couple.
My second thought... at the 13:00 mark. "Wow.. so even Troy sometimes fails to get a headshot. He's mortal after all!"
The shame...
@ 4'28 I think it's living vicariously a life of courage and adventure...perhaps a little sadism
What a great intro. Your enthusiasm is totally contagious. The real beauty, however, is in all the details: Securing a preventer without leaving the cockpit. The image of the hand resting on the stanchion. The pretty and very functional little swing at the end of the tiller. Sailing so fast that the wind generator stops. I could go on, and I'm happy that you are too.
Cheers Lars! So good to be exploring our home state once again.
Love FRS. Another great video.
Very enjoyable video! It fully lived up to your opening statements. Fishing, snorkeling, drone video, great sailing on cool seas! All we could ask for.
Love you guys
Great quality video there guys.
Gotta say I love the look of the Abrolhos islands, something different.
Personally I much prefer the videos when you guys are fishing, diving, exploring or explaining the history of different places.
Each to their own I suppose but a nice relaxed cruise to various places would seem to be the nicest way to do things.
Thanks for the video.
You guys capture wave action the best of anyone! Welcome back!
My Missus and I love your provisioning guide. Shirt ordered to say thank you. Thanks guys.
legends!
Loved this video. I took my family up to the Abrohlos on our power boat in the early 90s. Your vid brought back so many happy memories. Baldchin are the best eating fish ever, & with crays, you cant do better. Thanks
I'm calling your Tiller setup "Troys Power Triangle"
might send mixed messages? may have to throw it in a video for a chuckle. thanks Schpankme. Pasc
That SUNrise!!!
really good vid guys...I think the thing that impresses me the most is that you two seem to make the difficult look normal, and the rough stuff look fun......I would guess that's why you are sailing, instead of sitting in a marina somewhere....you guys are REAL Sailors, not amateurs playing at sailing. I enjoy your vids more than you can know, as I'm now close to 74 years, and cannot go sailing anymore...my Wife is a Semi-Invalid, and needs constant care......your vids have really given me a great amount of enjoyment...THANKYOU...OnWard....
Give our regards to your wife and thanks for joining in.
Dread pirate Pascale was handling that tiller like a champ, the two of you seem very relaxed, and oh my does Mirrool slide across the sea!
I hadn't noticed before how Mirrool is so canoe shaped. She's more like a 25ft boat with overhangs. A sea kindly boat.
yes she has a very narrow beam and an "almost" canoe stern! We love her overhangs. She looks a lot like 27' wooden folk boats
Go go go
Lovely. That's the cruising life. Thanks for sharing!
You two ROCK Thanks for sharing that cool ride
Great to see you back on the water.
I'm curious to see your lobster catcher. Could you give a brief demo in an upcoming video? Seems an easier way of catching rather than using a spear.
Cheers
Pete & Sue.
Another great video
Hello Troy and Pascal.
You are both looking so wonderfully healthy. I am hoping that you will continue sharing your adventures for many years to come. I have been going over some of Malcom Douglas's Kimberly adventures and couldn't help but draw parallels with the love that you all have for nature and remote living. I could really see land based video documentaries in your futures. Your ability to share your knowledge and enjoyment of all things free range are inspiring.
Thanks so much Steve for your kind words and comments. Who know what the future holds!? Hope that vintage caravan is coming along nicely ;-)
@@FreeRangeLiving yes it's coming along fine. Lots of rot to get rid of so it's taking a little longer. All now replaced, insulated board and first cupboards going in. Water tank goes in tomorrow. Then the floor. It should nice alone nicely from there. Cheers
Fishsoup for Breakfast, now that´s Hardcore, you must have British Ancestors.
soup for breakfast is best breakfast!
Gread to read from you, I can´t even imagine to have fish soup for breakfast,
if I would have that for breakfast I´ll feed the fish, within a second, I´m more a Bacon an Eggs or Hardroll and Marmelade Type.
Enyway you´ll have a Fan in Germany, I´m looking forward to your next adventures.
Totally awesome 👏
Loved the shots of troy in slo mo, and rough sea at end ov vid..
Awesome to see you two back exploring. Anxious to see what you discover next. Keep them coming.
It has been a wonder to watch and learn from your wonderful videos. Your mutual respect and care for one another, Mirrool, and our Earth is inspiring. Thank you for everything you are doing and sharing.
Absolutely love what you guys do.
Nice video. It sounded like some music from the band The Green Cards toward the beginning.
