For the tie clip the color looks more like a garnet and most do not glow under UV light. But usually in precious medals. I bought a diamond tester for $18 and it will test positive for gemstones also. I use it for preliminary testing because presidiums are pricey.

Avon started producing jewelry in 1965 or 1971 (depending on who you ask), I believe. So yes, some are vintage pieces, but not from the 50s 😞

According to the book "Identifying Avon" Jewelry by Sandra Sturdivant : Avon company [has] evolved since 1886. The jewelry line began in 1965 and grew through original designs and direct marketing home parties.

That wire necklace you put in the craft stuff. Was the pendant glass? If so, check if its Murano glass.
