Hello Joanna! Excited to see what you got! I ordered a blue box last night and I could kick myself because I clicked on the wrong one. It was that fashion box. Ugh! So I quickly contacted customer service in hopes they will send me the box I wanted! I haven’t heard from them yet but hopefully on Monday.

That triple chain gold tone has a Rope, a Curb chain and a Herringbone chain.

Happy Saturday! I got a Dayton Ohio box Wednesday and i was so excited because my last 10 were Nashville or NC. I also got silver and a really nice Buffalo Nickle Dime and penny coins from 1936 to 1959 bracelet . Made my money back just on that.

Brava to you for thrifting! I used to shop at Goodwill, too, until a couple of years ago when I discovered the Big Cheeses at GW make somewhere between $500 thousand and 1 million dollars per year (depending on what internet search you do). I also found out that employees with disabilities are often paid less than minimum wage (as low as 22 cents per hour), whistleblowers have been fired, and safety issues have led to tragedy. Now my fave thrift store is The Humane Society Thrift Store, the fave of all our town which voted it the Best Thrift Store - even against GW! We also have thrift stores for hospice, Teen Challenge, and other local charities. I try to be even more ETHICAL about where my little money goes.

You sure the blue necklaces aren’t lapis lazuli? I would restring the beads that were too tight.

The necklace at 39:42 is an arabic necklace probably from Saudi Arabia. I have several some from an old boyfriend and one or two from my husband who was stationed there. There is also some silver content, but it usually varies because well they are typically hand made or tribal made.

Blue glass was used from 1890 to 1937 and milk glass jewelry from 1870 to 1910 and again in the 1950s. My guess your milk glass beads are the earlier use that are in the knotted necklace. If so that would make the long blue glass and milk glass necklace 100 years old.

You received a great box..just opened two blue boxes from NJ that I ordered a week ago… they were terrible! Just luck of the draw!

Lucky you. I just got my bag and it was all junk and mostly broken. Nothing at all was good. Not one thing. I wrote to the and they are not responding.

I wish i would have watched this video before ordering two boxes rhis week. I just fot them today and i got a lot of the same stuff you got and some even worse than you did. I emailed them. Hopefully i will get some sort of refund. I dont even know what to do with this stuff.

Question...my bluebox was half full of Mardi Gras beads, large nut Hawaiian beads, and strings of shell necklaces. Do I contact bluebox and complain or eat it? Ive already dealt with the new junk Fashion jewelry box and got a refund. How do people deal with this...not worth 50.00!!!
