This video was very helpful, just not how you would think. When I peeled off the sticker the first letter was un readable, I knew that the first 3 letters are the same on a lot of the cards. The card you used at the beginning had the same first 3 letters.
I got a vbucks code but it cotains a letter that is greyed out i cant use it
My brother bought a nintendo switch in the US ( i'm from portugal) with a code for mario kart. It says to verify the the date launch of the game and that it probably wasn't released yet. I don't know what to do. Help please
figured out what happened about my $10 card. i bought a $10 and $20 card at the same time and she didn’t even scan the $10 one🤦🏻♀️

@@saberaanis3437 it didn’t show on the receipt (also i wasn’t charged for it), and the person scanning it seem to struggle with it at first. the cards don’t activate unless they’re scanned by the employee. i just took it back with the receipt and got a different one, made sure she scanned it that time. lol.

@@HowToX yes, after giving them back the first card and getting a different one, it scanned properly and it worked out just fine.
I can not redeem v bucks on my nintendo switch because the letter Z is not available to use. Why?
My problem seems to be a little unique:
I bought two Nintendo prepaid cards.
The second one I was able to cash in no problem.
But the first one keeps giving me the same error message when I put in the code.
When I checked to see what the error code means it talks about problems with the servers, the thing is.
Everything I checked, (including the site provided in this video)
Says that they are having no maintenance issues.
I even tried, putting in a random series of digits to see if it would even give me the normal response for an incorrect code.
(it did by the way)

I forgot to add that this is been going on for a couple of days now, and I have tried turning off and on the consul without the issue being fixed.

I bought a game off of Amazon, and while I ordered the cartridge version of it, they sent me the code version. I tried to put the code in multiple times and it says that the game hasn’t been released yet, but the game itself is old and out on the store, and I have it on another console too.

Ye I wanna buy a gift card but it says it can only be used by Canadian accounts. I don't know if it's the geographical area or the region set on the account

The region the code was bought needs to match the region of your account. You can't change an account region. You have to set up a new account in the card's region.

While in the eShop, click your avatar on the top right, then Redownload on the left. See if it shows there, and if so, click the cloud icon to download.

You can create a new account within the region of the card, but I know that's not a desirable option.

If your code has a Z, then you got scammed, or you have some other type of code that isn't eShop related.
