0:11 Fucking effortless A5 scream from a 60+ year old man. Dio was still awesome up until his death, and hadn't he have died, he would've been good for many years to come. Unlike most of his peers, he didn't blow out/lose his voice over the years, if anything it got better with age.

WOW!!!...Many great vocalists have come and gone and are lingering. But NONE with the persona and stage presence of R.J.Dio. He had a way of moving, gesturing and playing to the crowd that was his very own territory. All the way down to his unmistakable Dio attire...Ronnie is not gone my friends. I remember seeing Ronnie in Athens in 2005. He would do these screams, just like in the beginning of Mob Rules, and we'd all just stare at the stage, slack-jawed. He wouldn't do this kind of things in the studio, simply because they wouldn't fit the songs. But that doesn't mean he couldn't do them. Which goes to show what kind of a musician he was - a legend, perhaps the greatest metal vocalist of all time.
Yeah, the closest he ever got to doing any screams as insane as the one he did here in a studio setting was on Wild One (from Lock Up The Wolves), and that was a step below the A5 he hit here. Most of the stuff Dio recorded was melodic bangers that called for something that would be easier to sing along to, but Wild One had this sort of quasi-thrash metal quality to it that made an gut-wrenching scream highly appropriate. Man, I wish he was still around, he'd probably still be able to perform well in his late 70s, though everybody eventually either quits or passes.

Not including those screams on studio also has the advantage that not forcing himself doing them in every show. Since they aren't featured on the original, he can decide if to do them or not. For the audience is also a surprise.
