    Have to agree with all these points.
    For me it's
    Pro,'s continuity= RESULTS!! Time , money, appetite control, recovery, hormone balance, peace of mind that I'm finally getting it right.
    Con's= monotonous, repetitive, lack of community/interaction, and that music argh.
    But despite any con's I've never had such results with so little effort. I'll definitely be sticking it out to the end.

    I agree with you on almost all points. I love meta now that I’ve returned. And I’m sure I’ll feel the same way about continuity when I get there.
    But, an additional thing I do miss is actually seeing Tracy’s body in the present day. I find just seeing her is inspirational to me, especially since she’s a couple years older than I am. Her old content is great but you can tell it’s just a younger body so I don’t always relate.
    Other than that, meta is so great for me. Feels unfair to get such results with only a 30 minute workout. But less really is more.

    • @RundownwithRachel

      I know! Her body looks better than ever. She looks amazing and seeing her move in the online studio was always very real and imperfect. I kind of miss that. But I wouldn’t trade it for how well meta fits into my life and the results I get specifically in my belly (I do ab-centric too)

  • @notsomuchthankyou

    This is a great video. Believe me, I ponder going back - I still have my glutcentric dvds and I also have omnicentric. I have always felt Metamorphosis was more "chiseling" than online studio overall. It very much varies by week online on whatever she's focused on. I like that online brings balance, flexibility - both mind and body, and fluidity to her choreography. I also find the most mental benefits on the other side of the 30 minute mark. Whatever I'm working through I feel mentally better after 35-45 minutes. I completely agree that the Metamorphosis path is great for body results and I wish I had kept at it the first time around. That said at this age - because I need to drop weight - my focus is on eating better because you can't exercise your way out of a bad diet. When I bought the DVDs (2010?) they had an eating plan and of course some of it is in her book. Obviously, that would be true no matter the workout. Tracy's method really is a method, not just moves put together and I love her for that. I very much enjoy the online community, but I see people really going at Advanced, MyMode, and extras almost like it's a competition. And believe me, they're all winning! That said its a very uplifting and loving community.

    For some reason YT stopped notifying me of your videos. I'm so glad you are still at it. I honestly haven't done TA online in months. I loved it but over time the routines became too repetitive. Some muscles weren't getting worked which causes pain and imbalances. She kept talking about working towards a specific shape but I'm here for head to toe strength and flexibility for ultimate mobility.

    I get bugged by this question allot. It’s all the same strategy. Meta & Continuity are the Methods flagship programs. What I mean by flagship is most important. If you have Centric that isn’t OmniCentric than do Meta + Continuity. Why spend the monthly online dues when you could be doing what’s important for you to do at a fraction of the cost. Access to the community is easy. Just place yourself in the Facebook groups and other types of social media. If you have circumstance where you need online studio then get it. Some people need to do the standing sequence with the chair.

    I’ve only tried online studio so I don’t have anything to compare it too. I really like it, but I do have a complaint: the “low impact cardio” doesn’t actually feel very low impact when you are in a situation where you physically can only do low impact workouts 😅😭

    Hi Rachel I started out on the beginner lane for the online studio and still had okay results for a year however as you mentioned it wasn’t tailored for my body type and 1 hour is just not doable for me as I have really long working hours so 30 mins is as much as I can squeeze in. I switched to meta after hearing about your experience and i agree the results are better however like u I miss the same things. I never tried the intermediate as it’s just too long but so glad to hear that continuity should give me 3 more years of content! I still am subscribed to online as I have a bit of FOMO. The beginner content for me varied. Some weeks it felt too easy and other weeks it felt really tough but like you said it was less body type customised although I agree the content was less boring and less than 40 reps so not as monotonous. I’m reaching around day 40 of meta and will likely go onto continuity like you. Tx so much for your content - it’s been really helpful for me as I probably would have just stayed on beginner due to the 30 mins time limit and sometimes the moves are too random depending on whoever edits the videos (it feels a bit incomplete ).

    • @RundownwithRachel
      @RundownwithRachel  Год назад +1

      I’ve noticed a lot of those editing errors, too! I’m finding that with continuity so far there haven’t been 40 rep moves as with meta, instead it averages 20. There is also a lot more opening arms and abs in continuity abcentric. If anything, the level 1 of meta has been the hardest level thus far!

    • @ClaraZeela
      @ClaraZeela Год назад

      @@RundownwithRachel Wow that's so interesting! I don't mind if it's 20 reps as 40 is honestly a lot! More abs is also good for me as I'm also abscentric. For the beginner lane sometimes they take intermediate and cut out some things out to make it 30 mins but sometimes there are no abs or certain body parts are neglected. I have no idea who decides what gets cut out and what stays in but I'd imagine it's not Tracy and I'm not sure it's the trainers as editing is generally quite technical and it could be the video editor deciding on what moves to keep or not? I'm looking forward to Continuity if it's easier! I'm also getting around to reading the Glucose book you mentioned, I was low glycemic for the longest time but rebounded after craving the high glycemic foods. Thanks again for all your content it's all been so helpful!

    Hi Rachel! Great content as always😊 I'm relatively new to the TAM and work my way up through Meta omni. I'm currently on level 6 and have good results. Only 3 more levels and I have to make a decision. I have been playing with the idea of booking onlinestudio for a few months and doing the beginner lane there. Simply because then I can see the breakdown, in the hope to understand the TAM language better and to be able to pay attention to details better. After that I wanted to buy continuity completely, because of the cost and time management. I manage to do the matworkout 5-6x a week pretty well right now, but I can barely manage to do cardio regularly as well. When I think about squeezing 3 hours of matworkout plus 3 hours of cardio into my busy day every week, I know that with my all-or-nothing thinking, I'll quickly run into overwhelm and end up doing nothing again for years. For now I'm focusing on "surviving" Meta and continuously hitting the mat, if I then also go 3x a week for 20 minutes on the mini trampoline then I can be more than proud! 😀

    Beginners (for the last 3 months or so) has been 30mins of intermediate- so doesn’t feel like a “basic beginners workout” more like a short IMC.
    I also found the same - I was doing imc x6 per week and feeling stressed as life is busy etc and it feels a lot (struggling for time). Years ago I did meta and continuity and then moved to streaming in jan 2017. I honestly had the best results from meta! I’m not happy with how my body is currently so have switched to beginners (whilst it’s a short imc) and mentally and physically feel better. Add on some extras where I can eg some dance cardio or extra arms. I’ve noticed a big difference in my eating - way more control over food since I’ve reduced my workout. Honestly what is the point in pushing through an hour on the Mat just to stuff my face with food 😂
    Love your vids keep them coming!

      Sounds like you and I are experiencing the same insight!
      I’ve started exploring the whole food thing more and more. Especially with something called “clean intermittent fasting” which Im excited to talk about soon!
      Can’t believe how long it took me to realize that when I push myself so hard in a workout I end up out eating my workout. Now I find my approach is so much smarter! Sounds like we are on that same journey!

    Hey Rachel! Love your videos! I have tried both and after one year of OLS I went back to Meta. I used to do the IMC and found it was too long and too intense as well. I went to BMC and found it was similar to Meta BUT I got bulky and bloaty. I found the low impact DC was still too high impact and kind of boring. I like very choreographed DC instead of one where it's just jumping jacks and high kicks. I took a break and am at the tail end of a 30 day lifting program, but am going back to Continuity in two days. ❤️

I have a random question regarding my results. I am at my goal weight and love the way that my body fits into clothes now! No more bulging muscles, but instead more streamlined and lean. However, my booty looks and feels a little droopier than I prefer. In some of the exercises for the rear, I am not really feeling it there, but more so feeling it everywhere! So glad they are helpful! Although I don't do TA anymore, I know it still brings great results to so many! That was my issue with Meta and Continuity - boredom. Continuity is very similar to meta - but I did not feel the results were as dramatic with continuity as it was with Meta. The issue for me with Online Studio is that sometimes I loved the workouts and got results - other times I didnt feel like it did anything for me. Ultimately, I now do the Hamelin Dabell method. I like that its pretty fool proof among other things. What i mean by that is that there doesn't seem to be any speculation around if the workout is or isnt being done correctly as there was with TA.
