What I really like with what you did with the vanilla surface painter overgrowth is that where the rocks are and you have the grassy green around them, it sorta doesn't look like grass, but more like a small swamp there. I look forward to the continuation of this build every few (no pun intended) days. Keep up the great work.
The straight rail out of the cargo rail yard was a nice surprise that I didn't know about. It's always wonderful to see things like this. The railroads of japan DLC has lots of assets of signals etc. that you could use on your yard there too instead of just the earthquake sensor.
GREAT detailing around that cargo rail. The path meshing with the overgrowth is SO good. I bet some of the traffice could be allieviated further with some tactical bus route placing. A lot of people are walking to those plazas in front of FAB factory and are pullin our pocket cars. I bet they are contributing to congestion a bit
Im a of this series especially! Keep up the amazing work. I dont see how all you great city builders do it? Ive watch this vanilla series since it came out and im always waiting for the next one to come out! Your also my favourite cities:skylines youtuber!!!!!!!!!
Maybe u create ur 1st University Campus district in FewNillacounty, also once thing missing in ur City is u dont have a Tourist Spot like, Hotels,Zoo,Big parks and etc.
Hey FewCandy, I love your content, thanks for all the hours of entertainment you've given us so far! I was wondering, have you ever thought about starting a "Detail Your City" series, since detailing seems like your signature feature, in my opinion? It could be similar to what Biffa does when he fixes the traffic in viewer cities. Of course, you wouldn't have to tackle entire cities, but you could focus on specific areas of a viewer's city and offer tips and tricks for them to continue detailing the rest of their city. I think it could potentially be a great addition to your channel and help out your viewers. (Not that your channel needs any help... I mean, what am I going on about? 🙄😅)
Thank you!! I have considered this in the past, but the reason I haven't before is mainly the difficulty in switching out different mod sets and compatibility etc. However with skyve now this could be much more simple so certainly a possibility!
Thank goodness for those airport aprons, makes the build even better! Whilst I’m not really a Doctor Who fan, the RoJ Police Box made me think of the TARDIS so maybe a Doctor Who inspired name?
Using your tips and tricks of using small, controlled zoning and “whack-a-mole” to manually selected zoned assets on my own build, I stumbled across an idea for Fewnilla County. There are some really nice red/orange brick buildings that come from the generic American High Density Residential, in both the 1x1 and 2x2 format. You can also do 1x2 to get little props like BBQs and tables out the back of the 1x1 building. They create these nice little 3 story brick buildings that look older in style, but not super rundown. I used them in my own console build to create a bit of a housing project across the rail tracks from downtown. I thought maybe because Fewnilla County already has the red brick industrial area, iirc including a “brick factory”, it might be cool to do an entire neighbourhood of red brick buildings, maybe a “lower income” part of town. Just another idea, loving the build. Would also love to see your take on a neighbourhood featuring some row housing. There’s some nice 2x2 and 2x3 low density, level 2 residential assets that could be used….but it’s a lot of whack-a-moling lol.
Epic industry area as usual! So modest "I am quite pleased with this build". Amazing mix of assets! Im late to the comment party but a simple name suggestion: "Few Factories", even though there are definitely more than a few lol or just call it "More than a Few Factories"
Nice railway yard. How about connecting one of those lost tracks with a small rail station providing the Sims accessibility to work from the downtown? A small plaza around it with few shops would give them a nice get-together place for an after work beer before hitting back home to downtown. Great work by the way, I appreciate every single moment
Besides being amazed, I've actually learned something: When you toggled off the zoning (to make the rare container building spawn again facing 90° road), I've expected the adjecent car park to complain. However, later on you can see it's well used! I.e. four plopped buildings, it seems zoning is only needed to plop them and can be removed if road access is still available. You make me go play test it... Thanks for the inspiration
I shall indeed have a look around your savegame file, but not sure I'll do much more than absorb the detailing inspiration, since you have committed the CARDINAL blunder: they're all driving on the wrong side of the bloody road, the filthy heathen swine! 😁
Lydia and I downloaded fewnilla County thankyou, she's good so I'll try not to mess it up 😂. Building village over river where you built 3 bridges first before we add industry. Again thankyou for your inspiration ❤ and with 6 weeks off school I won't see much of my laptop 😂
At 20:20 it would be nice to actually see how you did it, because it is exactly the scenario where I would be pissed when doing something similar and not being able to make it right
Thank you! You’ll need the industries DLC, then place an oil district, and either you need to place down drills on raw oil natural resource, or you need to place down an oil storage facilities which will import raw oil. Then you need to place down one of the plastic processing buildings and you’ll get plastic from that! Only the raw oil resource can be imported, not plastic!
We'll have to be updated if and when those cargo containers spawn in correctly. I'm imaging a cim holding the blueprints side ways on that first attempt. 😂
Thanks for showing how tough it is to play with trains on console...Since even you have to find unconventional ways. I still don't think I am sold on building trains in my cities...not to that much detail.
Yes it will be made available to everyone next week, members and patreons have got early access as I'm on holiday next week so recording ahead of time!
I’m so impressed with the vanilla surface painter between the train tracks and the overgrowth! So beautiful and looks modded. Amazing!
beautiful warehouse district with some factories lol that large warehouse is massive.. Build looks great as always

Fewnilla has so many industry builds!! 🔥 love it
Probably my favourite build of this series so far. I can definetly see why Industrial builds are one of your favourites.

Yes no ones uses😢
I didn't understand is Cargo rail yard functional? And what is the purpose of 4 extra rail road .

Great industrial build, always challenging to do on vanilla but no doubt you pulled it off!

Awesome! Your Videos really helps with the post surgery recovery.
Hope for a speedy recovery for you!

Awesome episode, can't wait to see some new ones
Great build, the 'surface painter' works wonders. Will be stealing that for my rail yard :)

Thank you! And thats a great idea! Will have to see if we have the space once the airport is planned in, but should work!

Haha yes! Any ploppable buildings will stay if you then turn off the zoning, very helpful! Just make sure you get them in before you turn it off! 😄
Great video!! I love how the city is growing!!!
Another awesome vid Few. Think about putting a grain bin over by the factories as some require crops. The Old Geezer loves this episode! 😎👍
now that's nice industry
Great factory area Few. My name suggestion is Odds & Ends
Love that! Thank you!

i think this city now needs a good tourist spot and an educational center like a big college or university

Thank you so much for your reply, most appreciated ❤ looking forward to next instalment 👌
I know it's not a district...but that railyard is screaming to be called 'Thunderbird Rail Industries' F.A.B! 😃😃
Just wanted to give a quick little tip that I found out way too late.
But the B letter on keyboard, is the shortcut for the Bulldozer.
I love ur road network. Subbed
Thank you! And welcome to the channel 😄
La reina de los detalles en mi opinión, sea vanilla o moded!…
Love the vids❤
