1/24/17 - On a foggy afternoon along the farmland between Richland and Sheridan, a couple of BNSF C4's on 211 scare the cows at the farmer's road crossing at Milepost 76.7.

2/4/17 - A beautiful sunny day for watching trains was greeted by a loud turbocharger and whiny K5LA horn on the lead SD70 on hotshot intermodal 20K, throttling back up to 50 MPH track speed leaving the 40 MPH Lebanon City Limits.

Two CSX GE's in different paint schemes lead Allentown-bound manifest 36Q past the Reading Station in Lebanon. The Berlin Mills Railway car upfront was a nice treat.

Recently purchased from CSX, a former Conrail SD80MAC leads the Saturday edition of 211 from New Jersey through the Lebanon City limits, approaching 16th street. This is the location of the former Cornwall Junction, which was the intersection of the Reading Railroad and the Cornwall Railroad, whose ROW went mostly defunct after Hurricane Agnes in 1972. The tracks in the foreground are all that remains of this branch...which connects to a rail yard (off camera to my back) that is also no longer used, but saw locally-based traffic up until the early days of NS on this line.

3/10/17 - 15T heads west on a blustery evening after a snow squall with a pair of dirty UP ES44AC's up front and a near-full moon looming over-head.

3/14/17 - Another late-season 24"+ snowfall hit Pennsylvania this year, and I was able to make it trackside a day later to see mixed freights 10N and 15T at Richland.

3/19/17 - A new Tier 4 leads 15T as it rounds the bend where a brick plant once stood, entering Lebanon County at Newmanstown. (Excuse the incorrect spelling of Womelsdorf).
