- Chatterbox is a new format for me in which I do just that - chat! There will be mini reviews and things of use, comment on new stuff, and probably old, reactions to comments on the videos etc etc.
This one is a little look at the sort of things you might be able to expect from me during the coming year ....... some or all of which is subject to change!

Down side of social media is unfortunately the spineless keyboard warriors. When I worked in the emergency services, with used the old saying - Don't let the bas****s grind you down. Carry on as you are, channels is really enjoyable.

I'm sorry to hear that the 1:48th Buccaneer is not going smoothly... I'm looking forward to hearing the details. I had high hopes for that kit.

Happy New Year, Jen! You have some great projects for the new year. The Fairey Flycatcher was a welcome surprise. Will you be getting Airfix's Bristol Bulldog when it comes out? Love those inter-war aircraft. The Zeppelin is an interesting subject too. Really looking forward to your channel content to come.

Your comments on motivation were valid , I tend to model subjects from aviation history that have always interested me and I enjoy the research process (and being able to justify an outsize bookcase of books)
That generally sustains me though a project.
At present that project is the MiniArt P47D .

Hi Jen thank you for all your videos as a relatively new modeler about 3 years, its nice to see someone not doing this for any gain. I like your approach and love the way you put things over in a very understandable way. You come across very well and not looking for any gain. I take my hat off to you, I seem to do most model subjects but love your videos. Thank you again for sharing your tips and trick and how you do your various models.
Hi Jen! Your channel is in my top five favorites to watch. Always interesting content and great explanations! Keep doing what you are doing. I share your frustration with keyboard warriors. Your channel is certainly one of my favourites. Love the content and the relaxed style and the tips and tricks are really useful. The beginners build is a case in point. Basically keep on keeping on and here’s to another full and interesting year on the channel.

Hi Jen Love the Channel. Although I had to laugh when you thought the Zeppelin would be an easy build. The plastic is okay but get the swear jar ready for hanging the gondolas and using the Photo etch. The instructions are no help in locating the P/E, and it bends and flexs when trying to apply it. I ended up using fine steel wire. Its Takom so beware

Hi Jen, I’m Simon. I had your channel randomly recommended to me today and I have to say that I’m glad it was. You Jen, are a breath of fresh air. I love your style, the way you present and your down to earth approach to the hobby and life in general. Your modelling skills are top notch and your builds are exceptional. As a result I’ve been ‘binge watching’ this afternoon and it’s been a pleasant few hours.
I too am a modeller but my work (I’m a signalman for Network Rail) makes it hard for me to find time to knuckle-down at the bench. 6 projects on the go and no light at the end of the tunnel for any of them. 🙄😅 Anyway, take care, I hope you and your family are well. Back to bingeing…

Enjoying your channel immensely. Anyone who models knows all about running out of steam on a project, especially when you keep running into issues with the kit. And yes, inspiration to build a particular model can strike at any time, sometimes in the middle of another build. The way I deal with that is to go with the flow - I’m sure that even Da Vinci worked on several projects at a time too. 🤣
Hi Jenny as a new follower of your channel, please do not change how you present, no ego just you being good at what you love, we all make mistakes and the good U-Tubers are honest and admiit when they get it wrong, ignore the trolls, they would never do or say anything to you F2F, instead they hide behined their screens.. Yes unfortunately you are opening yourself up to keyboard warriors, just block them. The majority of your followerds are here because they like your contnent. Enough Said !
I love your style and between you and Nigel I am confident I can improve my skills as I come back after 40 plus years away.. Boy am I nervous !
PS re your issues over losing a recent video, do you have access to a good IT guy who could help you set up a home NAS with realtime backup/sync software so whatever you were working on gets backed up to an external storge facility (the NAS) in the background. Just a thought.

Hi, just an idea, when you complete a build that is not part of any regular series, how about displaying on your channel and discussing
the build process. Sort of a reverse of an in-box review. Of course it assumes you have the time. Take care.

Not the biggest channel out there but certainly one of those, that punches above its weight and imho, it ain’t broke, so no fixing required! 🤪
