La presencia de humanos es un beneficio que protege el desove de las tortugas, porque ahuyenta a los animales depredadores de los huevos de tortuga. Lo mismo cuando nacen las tortuguitas, porque en la cadena alimenticia hay aves y animales terrestres que se comen los huevos y a las tortugas recién nacidas. Gracias por proteger la especie para que no se extinga.
Sí, y al cosechar algunos de los huevos, lo que los lugareños pueden hacer, evita que los huevos rotos que son desenterrados por las tortugas posteriores creen una bacteria que arruinaría los otros huevos.

Yes there are 4 different turtles that come to shore in Costa Rica, this is the Olive Ridley turtle.
Would they be there in April?
Turtles lay eggs all year but the Arribada is only during the rainy season
