2nd Chute to Ballroom at Alta Ski Area

A fantastic bluebird weekend of skiing at Alta Ski Area comes to an end. #sadface This is my last run which is one that's not possible very often, unless like today all the runs are open. It starts with some boot-packing up a steep slope on Mount Baldy. I take a peek down 1st Chute, then ski down 2nd Chute. From there I go across the East Baldy traverse into the north-facing section of Baldy, where the more famous Baldy Chutes are. From there I chicken pluck my way down in some heavy/crusty conditions with lots of sharks (rocks and other hazards under the snow).
