Poppy has it going on and album 6 has bops and bangers and something for everyone. I like the title track and Crystallized the most but the heavy stuff is very engaging as well 9.5/10 is what I give Negative Spaces.
One thing I love about Poppy is how she really commits and works hard. Learning guitar, bass and drums (i think at least basic on that last one) to bring more to the songwriting process. Has clearly been getting a lot of the right kind of vocal coaching. Takes modern dance classes and works out in order to have the stamina, the core strength and breath control for live performing. Directs her own music videos (so yes you're right about her having a strong influence in the visual artistry). Too many metalbros just dismiss her when she puts in more work than some of their favs lol. The Knocked Loose and Bad Omens collabs got people's attention, and then she drops one of the best metal albums of 2024 edit: I see you have a video of your top 10 progressive metal albums of all time - I can only assume that the lack of Karnivool means you haven't heard of them. PLEASE do yourself a favour - Sound Awake is a modern prog metal masterpiece. Sort of a combo of 2000s era Porcupine Tree and Tool with a sprinkle of Aussie Pub Rock flavour. I promise you, the only regret you'll have is not knowing about them sooner!

The album is amazing, a very well rounded and coherent amalgam of genres and tempos.
