I think there is a bit of confusion here. The Birthday Massacre are a Canadian band from the early 2000s (technically, late 1990s, but they were named Imagica until 2002), who indeed have dark wave influences. If you refer to the 1980s band, it is probably The Birthday Party, an Australian band which had Nick Cave in it, and who are considered to be some of the predecessors of gothic rock. Both are great, by the way 😊
i think with the three different genres from these singles, there is gonna be a super brutal song on this album. Nov 15th cant come soon enough for this new era of her. the work has been put in, now we all just need to wait to be blown away!
