- As the mercury began to plunge, I decided to venture out to the Brecon Beacons for a small hike.
I had just purchased a new tarp and decided to give it a test, albeit with no experience of setting up a tarp previously!
Hope you enjoy the adventure and if anyone has tips for how to set up a tarp the best way, that would be much appreciated :D

Rather than single guys each end, have 2 anchor points with guy lines from the top of the trekking poles at each end.
Best stealth camps are moving a good few hundred metres from the trail. I would suggest taking a paper map and compass in terrain and weather conditions like that
@@andystanley562 Cheers for the tips Andy! I always carry a compass on me and often make sure I’ve got a paper/waterproof physical version of a map, can’t beat the real deal for when digital fails!
