+Thorki Hiddlesworth fair point! I'm just going to think it is just dog lee! Not reincarnated lee, but dog version of lee! Because a dog bitting = lee killing =lee gets bit and turns = dog bites like a walker would!
There were way too many "stab-you-in-the-guts" parts in this episode. Omid dying, then Christa becoming cold, then you remembering Lee, then you remembering Kenny, Duck, and Katjaa. And when you finally think things are turning for the better and you have a playful doggie friend. Nope, it attacks you and dies.
If you say manuar in season 1 episode when clem asks lee what thats smell in the barn at hershal farm. She would say shoot if lee say shit she will say shit in season 2 its an easter egg
(spoiler for whoever hasn't watched this video) Everyones crying over sam the dog. I'm crying over the fact that christa (most likely) got a miscarriage. Just a moment earlier she was happy with the man she loved and a baby on the way. The scene after omids death, she's so thin, she looks sick and she is miserable.
It's okay to grieve both. We as humans can grieve both an animal AND a miscarriage. But it's also the fact that the dog was right there right then, affecting life around it, while a fetus is not born yet. Of course it has an effect on the parents, but not yet others.
Lee: more time spent together, more memories, can't kill Dog: almost no time spend together, no memories, easier to kill (and I mean that as an for the misery part, she probably wouldn't kill the dog if they stayed friends)
Marijn Riemsma I have not seen the other options just yet, but I really do think that since the dog attacked Clementine when she took away the can of food I'm pretty sure that the dog will attack her if it gets none at all. I mean we're all gonna be friendly until either one of us gets the resource we all desperately need, which in this case is food. So don't bring out the food and everyone stays friends...
Kir SK Hahaha I don't mind, since that's exactly what I thought. Telltale games was probably like: "Hey, how can we make the first half an hour of episode 2 of The Walking Dead as shocking and heart breaking as possible"
The dog attacked Clem because of food aggression. Animals with food aggression may be completely well-behaved and otherwise have the best temperament when not around food, but in the possession of food will growl, lunge at, and attack anyone who tries to take it away. In many cases the dog even becomes apologetic-seeming afterwards, right after a bite the dog might realize its error and slink away in a submissive posture. Food aggression is a behavior that is typically treated at a young age, but there's no telling if the dog developed it because of stressful circumstances or if its previous owners simply avoided the problem.
Or it simply followed it's instinct, if a wild animal wants food it will go get food it doesn't care for a little girl. Pretty sure it's primal instincts have kicked in at some point since it was on its own. It was a bad idea to feed the dog, but it wouldn't have changed anything in the end (this time). It can be food aggression as well but I can't think of people not trying to well change the dogs behaviour and their owns to stop this but.. ooooouuuhh we will never know what it exactly was >:3 ~(*^*)~
Luyoka "food aggression" is just what we humans tend to call the instinctive behavior that dogs have which derives from their wild ancestors, but it relates specifically to food, like this dog shows! If the dog was just plain aggressive, it would not have played with Clementine, or stuck with her, or have been at all friendly to her. Dogs don't have the cognitive ability to be double-crossers or lure people into a false sense of security. It's actually a sad fact that the typical way to approach food aggression makes the behavior worse. A lot of dogs that develop this behavior as a young animal never grow out of it because their owners don't know how to deal with it. So instead of fixing the problem, the solution is to tell family members and guests to stay away from the dog while it's eating. Have you ever heard to never pet the dog while it's eating? I heard that all growing up, and I'm certain it stems from this. But it is true that the dog could have developed this behavior after being on its own (and the owners could have done everything right in training it), and I touched on that in my first post. :)
Damn, the feels are back. I really could imagine the dog being a great partner. You could teach him to sniff if walkers are nearby and stuff, but no. Just like before everything has to go to shit.. Weirdly enough, that's what makes the game so good. It's been awhile since I've been this hooked on a game. I'm looking forward to the new parts, Cry.
It's a common theme of a lot of survival stories, a dog partner, but it's overdone and a tad unrealistic. Clem had just met the dog, who knows how it had been raised or how long it had been alone. I would have been silly if it became a loyal companion straight away. It was clearly starving, so it acted out of instinct. I'm glad it did, it's much more real.
Crowrunner Don't get me wrong. I like that it played out so differently. Just saying it would have been nice to have at least some sort of companion for Clem. And the dog could have become that - over time. Both Clem and the dog acted really authenticly, I'm not questioning that. I just want Clem to be safe.
Omid and Christa were pretty terrible guardians for Clementine to be honest. They find some random bathrooms and just send her into one alone without even checking it first. No sympathy for idiots in the apocalypse.
For some reason, I was very proud of Clementine when she said, "Oh, shit," in the toilet at the diner. Probably because it means she's following Lee's example, which could be a bad thing or a good thing, but in most cases, is probably a good thing. I started crying when I saw the dog in pain. I don't know why. And then when I saw Lee's death for the third time in the series. I wanted to cry even more. The girl who shot Omid really reminds me of Becca from 400 Days for some reason...
Fun fact: the walker (sitter) tied to that tree is wearing the same clothes and the same wristbands as the dude in the photo. That zombie was the dog's owner.
I'm surprised about the all the bad comments about the dog/dogs, not just here but everywhere. How can people be so ignorant? What do you think would happen? The dog is starving and you handfeed it with food? If the dog had been starving enough time, even the most well trained dog would react like that. Survival instincts guys.Humans have them too, as you so obviously also can see in these series....
And... more comments on the dog's death than Omid's, the possibility of Christa's (please do not spoil anything for me, should you choose to comment), or their dead child? Really. Geez... I get it. The dog has most likely been hungry and attacked Clementine to gain further survival for itself. It's kill or be killed. BUT with the dog in a state like that... The dog was never safe to begin with. Not necessarily harmful until food came about, though that is a natural response for it in its given situation. However, I was not the least bit emotional about the dog's death. Not because I didn't pity it, but because there was barely a relationship formed with it at all. I was far more shaken for Clementine. Poor thing; I would've had a heart attack. I pitied her much more and felt a natural anger kick in when I saw that scene. I didn't hate the dog for what it did, but most people would probably feel that way if they were with Clementine and witnessed *that* happening. Also, Omid and Christa have been there since Season 1... and most people comment about the dog. I'm sadder for those two individuals, their dead child, and for Clementine, who faced/faces such a harsh reality. Thinking about them like that, as if they were real living beings, breaks my heart.
Yeah, I see what you mean, but I think that the reason most people commented on the dog was because that, Christa's and Omid's deaths were so sudden that you didn't really get to let it sink in, the dogs end however was slow, painful and, while he did betray Clem, still heartbreaking in a way. For me in special, considering that I'm a dog-person.
TheGrey Paladin Personally, I still found Omid's and Christa's sadder. Both happened very quickly, very unexpectedly, but it makes sense. In this world, anything can happen. A life can be there one moment, and then be gone the next. It's a bit like what we humans do with flies. We use flyswatters and kill them when they don't expect to be. It's hard to let swift deaths sink in because you don't want to believe it happened. We are also forced to move on when we don't want to. The world is already like that.
It kind of makes me sad that Clem's photo of Lee and her drawing of Katjaa, Kenny and Duck probably got washed away in the river. She doesn't seem to have them on her anymore.
The game hasn't even started yet and already there's so much death. That can be a bad thing considering that you'll get used to it and then nothing will surprise you in this game anymore. Except if someone doesn't die. That would be a surprise. I'm so sad I can't afford this game, but at least I can watch you play it! Can't wait for more :3
Why are people still going on about the dog? It was a perfectly natural response to someone taking away a starving animals food. It set up an interesting situation that put our hero in peril. It was meant to help supplement the fact that the world is now quite literally dog eat dog... or dog eat Clem, as it were. We only knew Sam for 10 minutes anyway. The scene kind of let you set a contrast between Clem of past, and the Clem of now (kill the dog) . Given your choice, it also let you show a lack of contrast, and you could make her act exactly how season 1 Clem would act (leave the dog). Everything in this series has a damn good reason to happen.
Yeah, that's how I know I'm not a dog person. I mean I like them and all but I was a bit more "die, bitch!", than "poor dog!". Nobody bites my Clementine and lives.
Thank you! I'm glad someone is being insightful and explained about the whole theme in this game. People should be a little bit trenchant rather than complaining.
you are quite right Annie. but my question is why were the dog's eyes white? as if they are lifeless and looking like all of the other walkers? or I'm I just reading into that bit too much? I'm hoping it's just the natural reaction you were talking about rather than infection, because I thought animals couldn't get infected. or have I too been away from this game too long and they can?
CrimsonCrowess They're not. Those are just catchlights (reflections). Animals can't get infected in this lore. Sam bit Clem because he'd pretty much gone wild and she took his food from him. Like Cry observed, Clem hadn't dominated him yet, so she wasn't really in charge. Also, zombie dogs don't play fetch.
I wouldn't be surprised if handling a gun/ammo through all those months caused Christa's baby to be born still born (something in the gunpower is toxic to a developing fetus and most ammunition boxes I've seen over the years have warnings labels strongly discouraging pregnant women from handling live ammo). Just got to hope that the baby wasn't born a walker. Can you imagine how awful that would be? Not only birthing your dead husband's child as a still born, but having to kill it when it reanimates shortly after?
***** It's not recommended for a woman to consume any alcoholic beverages while they're pregnant; but I don't think a couple of swigs of whiskey would have caused it any permanent damage (though that could depend on how far along she was, too). If she was an alcoholic throughout her pregnancy, then I could believe that may have resulted in a still birth/very sick infant. And with no medical care readily available, the child was doomed.
The fact that they haven't mentioned what happened to Christa's baby yet makes me think that they're building up to a reveal, and it's going to be something horrible, like the baby dying and becoming a Walker.
That's what I'm thinking (stillborn, then turned walker). That would be Hell - first losing your husband, then his child, and being forced to kill it again when it turns soon after birthing it.
Madame Fluffy i know this was along time ago but i thought and maybe not the people in charge of the walking dead said no walker babies aand no zombie animals...idk maybe not yet for the babies but no zombie animals
kristy romo Actually, come to think of it - that does make sense. The baby would need to be breathing in the contaminated air in order to turn when it died; and they're not breathing in the contaminated air while in the womb - so a stillborn who had died within the womb would never become a walker. Though if a baby died soon after it was born - I don't see how it would be immune to teh walker virus, as they'd have been exposed to the airborn virus soon after being born.
First time I watched a play through of this I thought Christa was better at caring for Clem, but she's just mean and even wearing a jacket when Clem isn't. She was no Lee.
Losing Omid and their baby (miscarriage) really messed her up...and I think she somewhat resented Clem for getting Omid killed, even though it wasn't her fault. Plus, I don't think she was mean, she was just being cold. There's a difference. She could've left her defenseless and alone, but she didn't. She still tried to care for her, she just didn't want to bond with her much...
(Stabs a man) ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! (Grabs onto tree) ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! (Knocks him into a walker) ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! NO, IM FUCKING NOT!
What...what about Omid? You know, that guy who's been with us since Season 1 Episode 3 and who we've known so long? Versus... a dog, whom we only 'befriended' for about ten minutes. C'mon guys. Why is it barely anyone is mentioning killing off a major character versus a random mutt. It's not even as charismatic as Dogmeat, the Fallout companion.
Andres Bianchi Because I suppose the dog represents the loss of innocence? why didn't people react the same way towards the child being gunned down at the beginning. Its all still cooo cooo for coco puffs to me. "Eh, So what if a kid got gunned down,Oh, Omid died?... EH. Wait, that dog that we saw on screen for 5 minutes died in its attempt to KILL Clem?! How could that not remind me of my own house hold animal!!!! WTF TALETELL"
She had 5 minutes... 5 fucking minutes of her actually enjoying herself, just being a child playing with the dog. The shock doesn't come from some symbolism, that dog fucking deserved that. It's all about Clem's state of mind. That everytime that she finds stabilty, life comes after 5 minutes and kicks her in the teeth. Like I said, really not about the dog, just Clem.
Andres Bianchi she didn't own a pet with her family, I doubt she had much time or life experiences to associate that dog the way most people have been privileged enough to
wont even lie ive been going back and rewatching all of his videos, im so glad he kept them up, there my comfort videos, i watch them to fall asleep to and tbh, i miss him uploading
I know this is old, but in the previously part, it showed Lee not kill the guy with the pitchfork, but Cry killed him in his playthrough? What's up with that?
Awhile back, just before he played Season Two, he streamed a new playthrough of the first season. I believe he wanted to remind himself of what happened, since it had been awhile since he'd played. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the stream or the videos. :c
I bawled my eyes out for Lee, I bawled my eyes out for Omid, I bawled my eyes out for the dog, I bawled my eye's for basically everything. Equally. While I'm sick. With many toliet paper rolls and tissue boxes gone. Yup. Fun. *bawls eyes out*
Hippie Hipster I think so, she said "shoot" in my game, and I hadn't choose "shit" as answer in the first game... It's funny to see how that simple answer is still relevant! XD
I know this is random, but imagine Clementine's reaction when she gets her first period. I'm actually wondering if a female will talk to her about it eventually.
I hope Christa explained it to her before they got separated. She is 11 or 12 now isn't she? She'll probably be like: WHAT THE SHIT HOLY FUCK IM DYING WHAT IS THIS
+Miah Raymond by the stomach size of christa at the start and not body size all together that would be an assumed average of 8 months since Lee died, then when she seperates from Christa (did christa lose the baby or nah 😢 when I played it I didn't notice she didn't have a kid and Cry mentioned it and I was like WTFFFF!!!!) thats an estimate of 6 months // thats what others have said so I'm going along with it// so 1 year and 2 months lets just say, that only makes her 10 years and 2ish months old 😂😂😂
I'm not sad that a dog died, I'm sad cause it reminds me of MY dog snickers, I let him out causing him to bite someone, and cause of that I had to lock him in a cage so he can be put down, and I'm 12. That's why I cried, and I'm explaining that it doesn't have to be that it was an animal
*my brain is full of fuck meme here* Its the walking Dead what did you expect? them to be skipping through fields of daisies while wearing bunnies with top hats on them?
We need Lee to just storm through the door and hug Clemmy, then say, "Come on, you think a little bite like that would kill me?" Then Lee and Clemmy go and slay zambies and the whole world is happy.
I'm seriously crying now, and it was all because of the poor dog. I have a soft spot for animals and even just the simple thought of one dying or getting hurt makes me sad.
happyjellyfish dude stop bitching he misspelled one word, and for all we know that could've been a typo.. no need to make a stupid comment about someone's education level
gonna give you the same answer as i gave on pewds his video, its only a dog, a god that wants to kill clem if he didnt fall in the spikes, where you get the option to save him from his missery, or you leave him to rot
***** This is the part I agree with TotalXPvideos. If you're in a situation such as Clem, a survival situation, and a dog attacks you, whether it's hungry or not, you'd most likely retaliate or even outright kill the animal (as horrible as that is) so you can live. In those extreme situations people will find themselves doing things that once seemed morally reprehensible in order to live i.e. killing household animals.
***** no he wasnt trying to kill her, he was just trying to hug her...and even if he was starving clem still didnt kill him, he fell into the spikes so she helped him out of his missery, or leaves him to rot
I knew the dog dying was coming so when Cry was all happy about it, calling him the reincarnation of Lee, I just started to feeling like shit, "Just wait and see" was all that I said to the screen. Thanks for the video Cry, I enjoyed it.
Hello. I'm the Walking Dead game. Season two, episode one! It's a brand new start! Are you ready for a nice, relaxing start? =D Yes? WELL TOO FUCKING BAD! HAVE TWO DEATHS IN THE SPAN OF 10 MINUTES AND SUCK IT!
Root Beer Fiend I know right when he saw the dog and you heard cry get all excited was really upsetting knowing how it would turn out since i played it before. Cry's videos are by far the only gameplay vids i will watch cause it's more like a movie since its not your choices and he gets so emotionally attached to the characters and you got love his laugh as well.
Just a little tip I'm throwing out here (got it from my stepfather): If you stack up the logs so they stand up against eachother they burn longer :) May not be an option for the game but it might come in handy IRL some day.
Im not sure I can watch these without Lee... With him it seemed like there was a chance for a better life now it seems like its a miracle she survived this long...
+Zephyr Biersack But what if it was going to be a 'I am legend' thing and near the end after spending the whole game getting attached to the dog you are gonna have to kill it because it was bitten. If you haven't play the game yet all I'm saying is there is 1000 times more feels to come, once you experienced them and the extremely hard decision at the end and having to kill the dog you were best friends with throughout the game. Do you really think you could handle the feels? I t was best fro it to die

+Jaimie Dragoner You should play the first season and the second season. it really fun. if you have an iphone or android you can download the app for both. If you have a laptop you can get steam and download both seasons. i highly recommend it
I kinda saw that coming. Kinda like what Cry said, she hasn't asserted her dominance. even though it was a domesticated animal, they will go in instinct mode which is scavenge and fight for food if need be. BUT SERIOUSLY...SHE LOST EVERYTHING SHE CARED FOR. And she is only a child... I can only imagine what she turns out when she gets older.
I love how TellTale makes their games. I was slightly taken aback when Clem said 'Oh Shit' in the bathroom scene as I had never heard her swear before, but I've just noticed that she said it because Cry made Lee swear in front of her in season 1. When I played Season 2, Clem said 'Oh shoot' instead of 'Oh shit' since I had never let Lee swear in front of her. Little details like that, I just love about this game.
It's like there's a little person in the background that pops up every 10 minutes and ironically says: "Well, things couldn't get worse :p" Immediately followed by: "Oh shit, things got worse!"
Though it seems cruel at first, I'm curious what happens if you don't feed the dog immediately so as not to incur the "taking food to wild animals will get you killed" bit. It may have still attacked to get at the food while Clem was eating but it seemed respectful enough not to immediately do that since it did wait and whine instead of just jumping on her and trying to tear it out of her hands like it did after she took it away.
He'll attack anyway, it's probably so that Clementine would receive a non-walker bit as dogs don't normally turn to aggression so easily even with food present.
Cry! I'm so glad you noticed Clem quoting Lee from the previous game :) I've watched few youtubers play this part, and I was so upset that no one said that before. This game looks good so far, I hope you do more.
Is "We just fucking started!" everyone's reaction to this introduction? I just played through this, this morning and this video generally is my exact play through.
Jess The Waffle Also to add I feel like she blamed Clem for Omid's death. If you notice after she shoots the girl in the bathroom and sees that it was clem's gun she gave clem a stare as if to say "why did you let her get your gun. Your carelessness caused his death". That;s the way I see it. I mean losing Omid and the baby would probably destroy her (no longer having a part of omid with her) but it also seemed based on her attitude that she blames clem a little while still caring for her
Am I the only one who from time to time wants to punch TaleTell games because they mess with your emotions, now when I watch their games I just scream like Cry.
okai lets think for a moment that lady in the bathroom was going to waste her bullet on an emotionally scarred 9 year old with malnutrition problems. LOGIC IS BEAUTIFUL.
+Velternate No, it's been 16 months since Omid died. Christa was pregnant in the first season and started showing a lot here, so it could only have been a few months, meaning clem was probably still 9
I saw a video called "scumbag Lee" and if he says "shit", in episode 2, Clem will say the barn in the St John's dairy smells (and I quote) "Like shit, right Lee?".
Joe L. Okay so it's totally fine that Omid died right away, the man that has been there for Clem and Christa for a very long time and is a very good-hearted person it's just totally fine that he dies right away, but not a dog? They can include Lee dying, Kenny dying, Ben dying, little innocent kids like Duck dying and everything going to shit and now Omid died but A DOG OH MY GOD NO.... what?? >.
First season: Lee: "shit" Clem: "swear" now: Clem: "oh shit" lee in heaven: "SWEARRRRRR!!!!"
if lee doesn't swear to clem in season 1 she says "shoot" instead of "shit"
rly? thats so cool xD
Yes. That's really cool! "Clementine will remember that"
oh my gosh I was thinking about that 😂😂
If you choose to use a "swear" in Season 1, it causes Clem to use one too. If you chose not to use one, she says "Oh shoot" in Season 2.
"It's okay, we're smart and he's not.. we're smarter than all of them.."
Oh Lee.
Nell Ross in the tv show the walkers are smart
Well I think we all can agree that dog was *not* reincarnated Lee.
+bluhmer1990 Well they both died so..
***** i would say too soon but its like an entire season ago so
I think lee looks better with his jacket from episode two
Or maybe it iiis...All sweet and cute at first - Then BAM -> Lee did turn into a walker, so the dog got all bitey >:D
+Thorki Hiddlesworth fair point! I'm just going to think it is just dog lee! Not reincarnated lee, but dog version of lee! Because a dog bitting = lee killing =lee gets bit and turns = dog bites like a walker would!
"...stop letting bad shit happen to you every 5 minutes please. Lee is rolling in his grave." XD the descriptions are amazing
honestly that dog kinda had that coming to him.... :/
Lee wasn't given a grave :(
There were way too many "stab-you-in-the-guts" parts in this episode. Omid dying, then Christa becoming cold, then you remembering Lee, then you remembering Kenny, Duck, and Katjaa.
And when you finally think things are turning for the better and you have a playful doggie friend.
Nope, it attacks you and dies.
woW THANKS FOR TH E FLASHBACKS
+a spicy meme YeAh bRo tHaNks
yeah I think telltale set out to make the most depressing game ever. not that the first one was happy, but this one was too much imo
Everything about Season Two is depressing as hell. I really liked Omid... :( he didn't deserve to die like that.
xdarkness22x Yeah...I kinda knew immediately that the dog would die. I did not, however, expect it to die like that. I was expecting a zombie dog.
"Did you look into his eyes? This is so Lee reincarnated!"
*Mauls her*
Technically, yes, since Lee's a walker now and would do the same.
and now the dog is dead just like... Lee
ahhh why did I mention that
CRY: "Yay! Doggie friend!"EVERYONE WHO HAS ALREADY PLAYED THE GAME: "Oh, hon..."
Me: "Oh, you don't even know."
I was so taken aback when Clementine said, "Oh shit!"
+WhateverGamerGirl Its the apocalypse
she shouldnt >
if lee doesn't swear to clem in season 1 she says "shoot" instead of "shit"
Same here- I was all: Clem!
If you say manuar in season 1 episode when clem asks lee what thats smell in the barn at hershal farm. She would say shoot if lee say shit she will say shit in season 2 its an easter egg
Clem just isn't allowed to have friends it seems

Cactus Blue I watch the walking dead TV show. Oh! I remember her.
"It's okay, you have both hands unlike a certain old friend of ours."
Excuse me while I curl up in a ball.
I just Imagine Cry is like in Clem's mind just Talking to her but she just ignores him sometimes.
I think that too
NO NOT OMID!!!! HE WAS COMEDY RELIEF!!!
He shall be replaced with Clems new stick friend
Duck is fucking dead, mate
All of the comedic relief are dying. ;-;
And also ;-;
Theres no more comedy relief...Rip Duck-I mean Omid
(spoiler for whoever hasn't watched this video) Everyones crying over sam the dog. I'm crying over the fact that christa (most likely) got a miscarriage. Just a moment earlier she was happy with the man she loved and a baby on the way. The scene after omids death, she's so thin, she looks sick and she is miserable.
yea,it sucked.... her meaning to be in the world is over
It's okay to grieve both. We as humans can grieve both an animal AND a miscarriage. But it's also the fact that the dog was right there right then, affecting life around it, while a fetus is not born yet. Of course it has an effect on the parents, but not yet others.
Not even 15 minutes in and I'm tearing up. Dammit.
Ultimate Picky Penguin
Oh, I get it. Put a dog, that you just met, out of it's misery. But, not Lee, huh?
Lee: more time spent together, more memories, can't kill
Dog: almost no time spend together, no memories, easier to kill (and I mean that as an for the misery part, she probably wouldn't kill the dog if they stayed friends)
Kir SK Do you think that if you pick one of the other options, for example, don't feed the dog, that the dog would attack her either way?
Marijn Riemsma I have not seen the other options just yet, but I really do think that since the dog attacked Clementine when she took away the can of food I'm pretty sure that the dog will attack her if it gets none at all. I mean we're all gonna be friendly until either one of us gets the resource we all desperately need, which in this case is food. So don't bring out the food and everyone stays friends...
Don't be an asshole. It was a different situation.
Kir SK Hahaha I don't mind, since that's exactly what I thought. Telltale games was probably like: "Hey, how can we make the first half an hour of episode 2 of The Walking Dead as shocking and heart breaking as possible"
When Cry laughed at 27:22 after Clementine threw the dog the frisbee I literally swooned.

The dog attacked Clem because of food aggression. Dammit telltale! I'd rather off not have a dog than have a dog who is sweet at first then driven to violent actions by food aggression >:'0
Taegra I didn't kno that cool fact
I agree
Crowrunner
Don't get me wrong.
Why else would he be at the campsite with the photo?
Why, WHY?!?!?!?!?!?
*sobbs loudly in a corner*
Hagz500R To think it was quite evident. Not hard to figure out.
Phillip Duong Yeah I think they know it's not real, but the thing is everyone else is acting like it's real.
Fuck you for reminding me Survival Instinct was a game that was made.
it's cause they're butthurt crybaby vegans.
@@thisguy512 lmao what
I didn't cry when Lee died but I cryer about the dog come on!
This game couldn't make it FIVE GODDAMN MINUTES without ripping out your heart.
And... more comments on the dog's death than Omid's, the possibility of Christa's (please do not spoil anything for me, should you choose to comment), or their dead child? Really. Geez...
For me in special, considering that I'm a dog-person.
i agree with most everything you just said
and i do feel a little bad for the dog, but i dont pitty it.
The world is already like that.
katlyn brejcha I do feel bad about *how* the dog died, but, because I was scared for Clementine, my concern rested with her only. She mattered more.
ya, i would agree

It kind of makes me sad that Clem's photo of Lee and her drawing of Katjaa, Kenny and Duck probably got washed away in the river. She doesn't seem to have them on her anymore.
"Reincarnated Lee" Oh Cry, I bet you regret saying that.
My thoughts exactly.
The game hasn't even started yet and already there's so much death. That can be a bad thing considering that you'll get used to it and then nothing will surprise you in this game anymore. Except if someone doesn't die. That would be a surprise.
I'm so sad I can't afford this game, but at least I can watch you play it! Can't wait for more :3
that's the thing about the walking dead-world
Well, I guess you're right. It would be a miracle to survive in a zombie apocalypse now that I think about it!
Death my not surprise you because obviously in a scenario like this people are gonna die... it's just whose gonna die that will be a surprise.
Demyxsbabe2
*may
WAIT I JUST REALISED THIS DID CLEM LOSE THE PHOTO OF LEE WHEN SHE WAS WASHED AWAY
Yup.
;_;
that to sad
WELL SHE DIDN'T LOSE HER HAT THOUGH SPOOKY DONTCHA THINK
the photo was paper
Nobody bites my Clementine and lives.
...and I also caught myself thinking "Korean BBQ for dinner then?"
WHY THE HELL IS THERE A OPTION TO BURN THE PHOTO OF LEE!?
If you try to burn it it won't let you. It just skips to the next scene
Well either way....You had a option to let go your past and focus on the future.
It will not burn a photo, Clem will only look at it.
Lol
To make you more depressed- XD
Cry:"Clem you're not suppose to say bad words"
Cry you made her curse in the previous season xD
*part when omid got shot
Me: Fuck everything. I still have the aftershock from the last season. FUCK.
Haha, I was the sixty-ninth like~
I wouldn't be surprised if handling a gun/ammo through all those months caused Christa's baby to be born still born (something in the gunpower is toxic to a developing fetus and most ammunition boxes I've seen over the years have warnings labels strongly discouraging pregnant women from handling live ammo).
Madame Fluffy i know this was along time ago but i thought and maybe not the people in charge of the walking dead said no walker babies aand no zombie animals...idk maybe not yet for the babies but no zombie animals
kristy romo
Actually, come to think of it - that does make sense.
I finally found a channel that has real titles
Daylight Shinner ikr none of that caps lock shit
Daylight Shinner cry is amazing. He's untouched by the world! :)
I'm crying I misread this as "I finally found a channel that has real titties" and it took me like five times to read it right
@@sozl5494 Sorry to inform you.. but uhm... 😢Cry is not.. whom we thought he was...
Is it just me or when the man says "Previously On The Walking Dead", does that sounds like Lee or is it just me? 😭😭
That uh..... That is Lee.
Yea. Its Lee.
Thanks, why they still have his voice if he's...
Dead. Yea. Idk
Nostalgia.
Why is everyone crying about the damn dog? What about Omid?!
homid its just a human dogs are soo cuty :3
Paulo Henrique de Jesus Yeah! A HUMAN WHO HELPED CLEM! DIRTY MUTTS ARE BETTER, RIGHT!?!?
errrr nope :3
Paulo Henrique de Jesus So you agree with me?
errr nope
(Stabs a man)
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!
(Grabs onto tree)
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!
(Knocks him into a walker)
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!
NO, IM FUCKING NOT!
I actually thought the same thing. LOL.
+Jesse Schmies lol sams
What...what about Omid? You know, that guy who's been with us since Season 1 Episode 3 and who we've known so long? Versus... a dog, whom we only 'befriended' for about ten minutes. C'mon guys. Why is it barely anyone is mentioning killing off a major character versus a random mutt. It's not even as charismatic as Dogmeat, the Fallout companion.
It's not even about the dog. Think about it.
Andres Bianchi she didn't own a pet with her family, I doubt she had much time or life experiences to associate that dog the way most people have been privileged enough to
Again, man... This is not about the stupid mutt. It's about EVERYTHING. Is about Clem's state of mind.
wont even lie ive been going back and rewatching all of his videos, im so glad he kept them up, there my comfort videos, i watch them to fall asleep to and tbh, i miss him uploading
I know this is old, but in the previously part, it showed Lee not kill the guy with the pitchfork, but Cry killed him in his playthrough? What's up with that?
Same
Maybe he replayed it
Awhile back, just before he played Season Two, he streamed a new playthrough of the first season. I believe he wanted to remind himself of what happened, since it had been awhile since he'd played. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the stream or the videos. :c
its when u dont connect season 1 with season 2 it gives u the default options
He lost the data for season 1 so he had to play through it again for season 2
I bawled my eyes out for Lee, I bawled my eyes out for Omid, I bawled my eyes out for the dog, I bawled my eye's for basically everything. Equally. While I'm sick. With many toliet paper rolls and tissue boxes gone. Yup. Fun. *bawls eyes out*
It's okay you're not alone (o n o )
I'm a crybaby too, you're not alone!
:)
Awww nose 😭 I'm sorry to hear that.
I think she only says "Oh shit" if you use the word "Shit" in chapter 1 when she says what the barn smells like. At Herschel's farm.
Maybe
Hippie Hipster I think so, she said "shoot" in my game, and I hadn't choose "shit" as answer in the first game... It's funny to see how that simple answer is still relevant! XD
Ye, I played a few times. That's what happens
In the real world Clem would have died in the water.
I'm amazed her hat stayed on her head.
yeah. Still sad about Lee though.
Sara Kigamine I lived a good lie ^V^ ..only not the wife... shes a bitch .-.
gg Lee gg
Lee Everett HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!?!!?!?!?
"It's okay, you have both hands unlike a certain old friend of ours"
How dare you
I know this is random, but imagine Clementine's reaction when she gets her first period. I'm actually wondering if a female will talk to her about it eventually.
I hope Christa explained it to her before they got separated. She is 11 or 12 now isn't she? She'll probably be like: WHAT THE SHIT HOLY FUCK IM DYING WHAT IS THIS
+Miah Raymond by the stomach size of christa at the start and not body size all together that would be an assumed average of 8 months since Lee died, then when she seperates from Christa (did christa lose the baby or nah 😢 when I played it I didn't notice she didn't have a kid and Cry mentioned it and I was like WTFFFF!!!!) thats an estimate of 6 months // thats what others have said so I'm going along with it// so 1 year and 2 months lets just say, that only makes her 10 years and 2ish months old 😂😂😂
Jay Murakami I always think about that stuff, so it's not too random lol
I was actually just thinking that. It would be a shame to have happened when she was by herself.
Now we know.
Damn they really ramped up the feels in this one
Oh sure, it's not sad when Clementine unintentionally causes the death of Lee and Omid, but no when a dog dies, that's the real tearjerking moment.
goreycinema Clem hasnt Been friends As long as She Did as Lee
The Rad Freddy Scratch ThatYou Never See Dogs in twd
goreycinema wtf are you talking about? People fucking bawled their eyes out over Lee and Omid and i havent seen one person cry over this dog yet.
I'm not sad that a dog died, I'm sad cause it reminds me of MY dog snickers, I let him out causing him to bite someone, and cause of that I had to lock him in a cage so he can be put down, and I'm 12. That's why I cried, and I'm explaining that it doesn't have to be that it was an animal
damien simanovicki
I'm very sorry to hear that, man. I give my condolences to Snickers.
there we go. not even 10 minutes into the game and i already started to cry.
Everything gets 10 times more sad with Cry's fucking voice. I CRIED BECAUSE OF THE DOG
***** It's just LOGIC.
cant they have a happy moment instead of two sad ones in the first episode, I didn't want to cry today
*my brain is full of fuck meme here* Its the walking Dead what did you expect? them to be skipping through fields of daisies while wearing bunnies with top hats on them?
Why's everyone crying over a dog but not a single comment about being upset of omid's death
Because its a dog dumbass
+James Webster the dog wanted to hurt her omid was trying to save her.
Omids death was sad. But dogs are so Mich more innocent than people, so we feel more sympathy.
cry is such a good commentator
"OH COME ON, WE JUST FUCKING STARTED."
Haha my exact thoughts, Cry.
I had never watched Cry before.....his voice is so soothing 0_0
welcome :3
We need Lee to just storm through the door and hug Clemmy, then say, "Come on, you think a little bite like that would kill me?"
Then Lee and Clemmy go and slay zambies and the whole world is happy.
+Anthro Science Like please ;-;
Cry: Oh come on we just started!
Me: Welcome to Telltale's games.
I'm going to warn you now man; this is going to be one hell of a ride :(
Lol Cry's description: "Now stop letting bad shit happen to you every 5 minutes. Lee is rolling in his grave" Poor Clem... I missed Lee SO MUCH! D':
I'm seriously crying now, and it was all because of the poor dog.
I have a soft spot for animals and even just the simple thought of one dying or getting hurt makes me sad.
Apocolyps? pfft. Billions of dead kids and adults? pfft. Save the animals!
Grant Nesvacil "Apocolyps"? Pfft. I'm personally crying for the state of education of wherever it is you're from.
Me too, and you know whats worse? My little puppy died about a week ago, and i still cant get over her ;_;
happyjellyfish dude stop bitching he misspelled one word, and for all we know that could've been a typo.. no need to make a stupid comment about someone's education level
I didn't mean to start a huge argument o.o I was just expressing how I felt...
the last part of this video make me wonder if PETA is gonna make a spoof on the walking dead now...
In my game she said "shoot" instead of "shit." I think it STILL remembers that choice from S1. That's hilarious.
I just love how cry opens up more and more during the series in love it so much :D
Its only even the first part and i'm already crying...dogs, man
gonna give you the same answer as i gave on pewds his video, its only a dog, a god that wants to kill clem if he didnt fall in the spikes, where you get the option to save him from his missery, or you leave him to rot
TotalXPvideos You have a point but I don't think that detracts from how people on the outside of a situation (or in for that matter) would feel. So...
I was balling when Omid died... nice attack Telltale... nice attack...
Yes?
WELL TOO FUCKING BAD! HAVE TWO DEATHS IN THE SPAN OF 10 MINUTES AND SUCK IT!
Best comment
I knew what was gonna happen and I felt terrible how attached Cry was getting to the dog.
Root Beer Fiend So, that happens even if you choose [feed the dog]?
RMilde He did choose to feed the dog, but the dog wanted more than he was given.
RMilde
The dog will always attack you. Unfortunately, it's necessary to the plot.
Just a little tip I'm throwing out here (got it from my stepfather): If you stack up the logs so they stand up against eachother they burn longer :)
May not be an option for the game but it might come in handy IRL some day.
Im not sure I can watch these without Lee... With him it seemed like there was a chance for a better life now it seems like its a miracle she survived this long...
Well kids, it looks like we're going on a feels trip.
WHAT THE HECK NO I WANTED THAT DOG TO BE CLEM'S COMPANION FOR THE REST OF THE SERIES
we all did
+Zephyr Biersack But what if it was going to be a 'I am legend' thing and near the end after spending the whole game getting attached to the dog you are gonna have to kill it because it was bitten. If you haven't play the game yet all I'm saying is there is 1000 times more feels to come, once you experienced them and the extremely hard decision at the end and having to kill the dog you were best friends with throughout the game. Do you really think you could handle the feels? I t was best fro it to die

+catgoddness you are right, I have never played this game, but if I did then I know the feels what of got me, it was best for it to die, sorry...
10... fucking... minutes... is how long it takes before the tears start flowing.
damn you, telltale, you beautiful bastards
I just cried trough this first episode. I'm too emotional. X'D When I recorded the dog part I just couldn't handle it.
i know right thats how i was like when i watched pewdiepie play this but i didnt cry this time
Your empathy towards the characters makes me feel emotional. I have never come across someone who express empathy when playing a game.
Wow thank you! >w
stop make advertisment
*****
It's really not advertisement I just told how I reacted. Sorry if I offended you in any way.
"Clem you're not supposed to say bad words"
Oh wait, guess who taught her that word back in S1Ep1? XD
I did not expect to cry so much during the first episode.
Is it just me or has Christa been a jerk to Clem since Omid died?
Jess The Waffle She was depressed, that's all. No baby, no Omid. That's the only way she acted like that, but still cared about Clem.
Alyssa O'Connor Ohh okay thank you for clearing it up :3
Jess The Waffle Also to add I feel like she blamed Clem for Omid's death. If you notice after she shoots the girl in the bathroom and sees that it was clem's gun she gave clem a stare as if to say "why did you let her get your gun. Your carelessness caused his death". That;s the way I see it. I mean losing Omid and the baby would probably destroy her (no longer having a part of omid with her) but it also seemed based on her attitude that she blames clem a little while still caring for her
Richard Holden Yeah it did seem like it.
Jess The Waffle She unintentionally caused his death. It's a little understandable.
Only about 9 minutes into the game and I'm in freakin' tears! Thanks TelltaleGames.
the dog is one that got me. poor thing struggling D:
It was using her. I don't feel bad.
12 min in the game, and 2 people and probably a baby are already dead. REALLY TELLTALE?
*whispers* And a doggg~ =3=
But, that's later on. I mean, TWELVE FUCKING MINUTES.
That's not fair with them feelz
My reaction exactly...
Am I the only one who from time to time wants to punch TaleTell games because they mess with your emotions, now when I watch their games I just scream like Cry.
And now she's in one hellova mess :( every survivor will think she's been bitten by a walker. Fuuuuuu- poor clem :'(
I don't hate the dog for biting her- It felt threatened when she tried to take away the can. It was animal instinct.
But god, Clem you poor thing
I swear when a person dies in a game or film, I'm sad, but when an animal dies, I'm completely done.
okai lets think for a moment
that lady in the bathroom
was going to waste her bullet
on an emotionally scarred 9 year old with malnutrition problems.
LOGIC IS BEAUTIFUL.
Actually in this she's 11 but you probably know that by now
+Nic Bickel She was 9 in the introduction when the rude woman came in and held her at gunpoint, actually.
+Nic Bickel she was 9 at that point😑
+Spartan UpNext no, Shes atleast 10. it was 16 months since lee died, so she turned 10.
+Velternate No, it's been 16 months since Omid died. Christa was pregnant in the first season and started showing a lot here, so it could only have been a few months, meaning clem was probably still 9
Since the moment I saw the dog, I knew he was gonna die in some horrible way. ;-; They just HAD to tear everyone's heart out by adding him.
10 minutes in an two people get shot.Walking Dead season 2 everyone!
In 30 minutes 2 people get shot we don't know what happen to the next 4 and one gets eaten by a walker. and we also have to kill a dog :D
Did Cry make Lee say "shit" in the barn? That might be why she said it when the bottle fell down
hey did actually he bursted out laughing which made my laugh also XD
I saw a video called "scumbag Lee" and if he says "shit", in episode 2, Clem will say the barn in the St John's dairy smells (and I quote) "Like shit, right Lee?".
TELLTALE THAT IS NOT OK! YOU CAN'T JUST PUT A DOG DEATH IN THE FIRST PART OF YOUR GAME!
Yes they can. :)
raymanspy95
NO
THEY
CAN'T
Shannon B/LaZeeGamer Well too late they already did, because the could and can, so they did. :)
True that, man.
Joe L. Okay so it's totally fine that Omid died right away, the man that has been there for Clem and Christa for a very long time and is a very good-hearted person it's just totally fine that he dies right away, but not a dog? They can include Lee dying, Kenny dying, Ben dying, little innocent kids like Duck dying and everything going to shit and now Omid died but A DOG OH MY GOD NO.... what?? >.
Christa: I hope you know what you're doing with her.
- Leaves Clem unattended in an abandoned bathroom -
Omid suspected that if anyone was in there, Clem would take them out. Sure it wasn't the best of ideas, but Clem is pretty capable on her own.
Crying already and it's only the first episode. Good god.
