Interrogative= Can you tell me when are you going to make another wonderful video like this Lucy from English with Lucy? Please tell if there is any problem with these sentences. And do tell the answer of my question of Interrogative sentence, Byeee!!
You should continue making videos about that topic. Could you speak about the differences between present continues and future simple or differences between times that are difficult to differentiate? I can't wait for another lesson! I love your teaching!
After taking notes on modal verbs, I will be able to use them correctly by now. However, whenever I hesitate about their uses, I must go back to my notes and write down a couple of sentences just to make sure that I remember and will not forget.
I wish all foreign language youtuber/teachers were like you :( I need to learn German as easily as I do with your lessons but it seems there's no youtube german channel just as clear and complete as yours. buff

Thank you so much for the lesson with simple and clear explanation. I have always been confused and not sure about the model verbs before I watch your video.
I love what you did with the split screen and blackboard on the side, it's really useful and beautifully realized. Good work! And thank you for your videos, they are always useful for a foreigner speaker like myself.
I must listen to more podcasts to improve my listening skills and that way I'll be able to understand native speakers who speak fastly, I can do it, it's just consistency, I mustn't give up. May I say lucy's videos have helped me a lot? I guess I'm not the only one haha.
Possibly and probably mean almost the same thing. However, the difference is that: Possibly: 40-60% chance of something happening. Probably: Above 60% chance of something happening. You can also say "probably not" which means that there is a less than 40% chance of something happening.
Well, basically, they work like adverbs of frequency (always, usually, often, sometimes, etc.) and we can use them almost interchangeably depending on circumstances. For instance: 1. This last exam is possibly/probably the most difficult. 2. He couldn't possibly/probably have heard what he said. 3. A: Are you going to Scarborough Fair? B: Possibly/Probably. I am not a native speaker. If possible, could you explain it in detail? It is still confusing me a little. Thank you so much.
Possible regards the existence of something. Question, "Is it possible for man to travel to Mars?" Probable regards the chances of something happening. "Though it is now not possible for man to travel to Mars, someday man will probably make the journey."

I will be taking multiple lessons throughout the day. 5. I would like to have a new school bag as my birthday present. 6. I can speak three different languages. 7. She told me that she could edit the video for our performance. 8. I should be sleeping right now. 9. We shall listen to our parents' advice all the time.
1.He might be doing his homework. 2.May I help you? 3.She must be studying for exam. 4.I will eat my lunch at 3 o’clock 5.Would you help me with this mathematics question? 6.She can dance gracefully 7.You should eat more healthy food. 8.She could be here in 2 minutes. 9.Shall we dance together?

in one of my grammar book I saw these ones "need, dare and ought to" so when can we use them?! but in that book "need and dare" were called "semi-modals" would you explain it your next video!?

Maybe because it's seen as very formal nowadays and is therefore seldomly used (especially in American English you probably won't hear that at all). By the way: Shall can be also used as future tense (replacing will) for the first person singular and plural (I and we). Greetings!

I understood this topic very clearly from hearing it once🥰
Hi Lucy, could you make a video about how to use 'possibly' and 'probably' properly? Thank you so much.
Possibly and probably mean almost the same thing. However, the difference is that:
Possibly: 40-60% chance of something happening.
For instance:
Possibly could be a lot less than a 40% chance.
Possible regards the existence of something. Question, "Is it possible for man to travel to Mars?"
Probable regards the chances of something happening. "Though it is now not possible for man to travel to Mars, someday man will probably make the journey."
drkjk Not always. Someone could say that it's possible that they'll get laid at a party (if they think it's unlikely).
East or West,Lucy is the best TEACHER.
1. You may eat anything you want except for the eggs.
2. You must follow the school rules.
