Good afternoon Bella! My name is Anna and I live in the Midwest and love watching your podcast and all the beautiful handknits you make and design…🙂. I have had my eye on a pieced cardigan for a couple of years now, just waiting for the perfect yarn to come along. I have that yarn now, but a light bulb went off when I went to purchase the pattern and print it off. My thought was this looks like a Bella sweater! It is called the Oakledge Cardigan by Valerie Hobbs. Thought you might want to check it out….Happy Knitting…🙂🙂🧶

Hello Bella...I was excited to see you had a new video up this morning. I have been very tardy at welcoming you to the Bay Area, how long have you been in Walnut Creek now? I am an avid spinner, knitter, and a new crocheter. I have had a few beginning projects in weaving, but gave up my loom as it took up so much space in my crafting room. I grew up in Clayton, and I currently live in Oakley (about 30 minutes away). If you ever want to meet up, I would love it. I don't know if you've tried any spinning groups yet, but I used to attend (many years ago now) a group called, Treadles to Thread. I shared my love of everything angora at a group meeting one time. They were a great resource as a new spinner, with opportunities to try different spinning wheels when I first started spinning angora (my whorl didn't give me enough twist). I currently have a new Schacht, the Sidekick, and trying to get acquainted with it has been an adjustment. I used to have a Kromski Polonaise, and it had wonderful twist, and such nice easy take up, but it was so large and hard to sometimes find room for so I sold it a few years ago. Well Bella...it's been amazing watching you share your projects, knitting creations, and then when you started spinning I was elated. Now you are so close, let me know if you want to meet up somewhere and I'll come your way if you like, stay warm on this cold blustery day (30 mph winds out here). God Bless ~

Love your items, so very pretty. That hat is perfect on you and so beautiful. I'm working on a cowl for a friend (Christmas gift). It is the Honey Cowl, by Madelinetosh. Holding 2 yarns together. Then I'm crocheting a little mouse and a faux fur bucket hat (Winter gift). Also, an Annie's afghan ... learning Tunisian crochet and enjoying it. Great video.. off to watch another!! sending love, hugs, prayers

I am knitting my 6th pair of Kura socks, and there will be a 7th pair right after. These two are for my sisters, I love giving them as gifts. The first 2 pair are mine.. And I have a second night shift shawl on the needles as well, both are in sport weight. Love your new FO's, very cosy. It's summer here in Australia and a hot one it's been, but I prepare for the next winter, a cool change is much desired.

I'm spending this wet weekend making a linen stitch throw using all the suitable leftovers from my first three years of knitting. Slow but relaxing and it will be a very useful thing to have, one per to go over my legs in a cool house.son sized

I'm jealous. I wish I could knit up some big, cozy, warm winter knits, but I'm in Texas and it's already in the 60s and 70s here. We get like 2 weeks of actual winter here and the rest is a few weeks of fall or spring and 10 months of summer.

Love your videos Bella. I'm knitting my second handspun Shift cowl although you may be over the design after doing the sweater 😂. I am also spinning for Andrea Mowrey's new Traveler Cowl which looks like it'll be a great canvas for all sorts of handspun yarn options x

Well… I tried to get into your testknit, I had Nutiden and silk mohair ready to go. But you didn’t pick me 🤣, so I’m now using the yarn in a testknit for Olga Putano and it’s also super cozy! So that’s going to be wonderful as well. ❤ Love the purpley pink colorwork sweater too

It’s always so so difficult to choose. I receive way more applications than I could possible accept. I’m sorry it didn’t happen this time but there will be plenty more opportunities in the future!

Hello, new knitter and new subscriber. I have completed my first mittens, first hat and am almost done with my first socks. Do you think your new sweater - the one you are wearing - would be a good first sweater? I just love knitting! Thank you!
