I served with you for a short time in the 1/162 before you were deployed. It was almost 20 years ago now but I do remember training under you as a young
Private and I will never forget the positive example you set as a soldier and a leader. Thank you sir for the memories and for the channel, I have always enjoyed the videos they have always been entertaining and informative.

Mr. Harrell, I'm a long-term viewer and I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for everything that you've taught me over the years. This goes well beyond the subject matter itself and your highly effective presentation skills - You embody the humility, self-discipline, social/physical conflict resolution skills, and restrained confidence that only very few men have, and for that you will always be a role model of mine. You are widely loved, and I will be praying for you everyday sir.

Thank you for what you've given to the firearms community, thank you for the valuable lessons you've taught us, and thank you for being someone I could look up to. The world would be a much better place, if even just 1% of the population had a modicum of your graciousness, humility and honor.

Australia then had a mass shooting followed by the almost predictable additional two copycat incidents. This happens because the shooter becomes infamous and others with serious problems see it as their path to infamy as well. But since the massive gun confiscation and bans in Australia there has been little change to the homicide rate. It goes up to worse than the year of the mass shooting and then sometimes it is lower. So millions upon millions of dollars spent and nothing really changed. Yep no major shootings like the Port Royal incident. But then they wasn’t a history of incidents before the Port Royal incident and the two other in that short period of time. So based on an aberration the government confiscated property from people who committed no crime and in return gave them a society that wasn’t any safer.

If you have the will to go on, your body can often adapt. If you've decided to give up, the battle is already lost. Sun Tzu said, "If you know your enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the outcome of 100 battles." Never give up, and remember, you have 800,000 cheerleaders who will back you up with their moral support, should you choose to draw upon that. We won't mind a bit!

You're one of the best things to have ever happened to RUclips's gun community, and the 2A community at large. Your presentations are always incredibly informative, well thought out, and unpretentious. In a sea of over-edited productions and fake experts, you continue to shine through as genuinely helpful, funny, and captivating all the while. I can't even begin to tell you how much I look forward to seeing your videos pop up in my subscription box, or how highly I think of your teachings and advice. Perhaps the greatest legacy that one can leave behind is having an impact upon countless others, such that they conjure up memories of you and your lessons well into the future. I've seen what pancreatic cancer does, both my wives parents had this within 2 years of each other. It's very fast and brutal and praying isn't getting rid of it, he's not going to be fully healed unfortunately. He's already lasted longer than both her parents and now he doesn't have long. Just pray for his soul and family because he's not getting cured. This is worse than any other cancer. Basically if you get far enough along to have symptoms then it's very advanced and it's too late 100% of the time. On the rare occasions that they happen to find it from doing some other tests for something unrelated and in that case the people usually make it maybe 5 years.

I went "hunting" for the first time, and started keeping the rabbit population down around my house using my ccw. I've never made so much improvement in such a short time as I did then. That's only one example of how he helped me learn to handle firearms in a safer and more effective way. I'll genuinely never forget him, nor would I want to. Thanks for what youve done. Men in history have crossed oceans and faught wars to achieve less, and often failed. You put your mark on history, and hopefully contributed to the furtherance of the republic for a long time to come. Thank you brother, God bless.
