      Hi Barricade yes I remember that from the alternative mod too. Are you going to do a playthrough of the Transformers 2.0 mod? It looks amazing and I would love to see you do a lets play of it.
      My favourite playthrough of yours is the alternative mod and I feel this would be just as good if not better.

    Prepare yourselves, these guys are harder to fight as certain characters than you're expecting. You will definitely need to take advantage of the unrestricted ranged weapons this mod adds to even the odds here.

      @Claude#7 Not really, Elites only appear near the end of the game.
      The start of the game will be business as usual. Some drones are even weaker than normal in The Suburbs.

    I've notice the different color drones in your previous videos. Plus with the most added abilities and new attack patterns would help make the game a lot more challenging and difficult. I hope you won't always have to throw objects to break their invincible knowback attack, leaving them little more than a standard enemy to deal with.

    I really liked the elite tow truck drone, the Mig drone is pretty cool too, I think some drones with speed looks wierd while others like the cement mixer drone, armored truck drone and the truck just makes them tankier than before and adds nothing new like the tow truck, mig drone, car drone, forklift drone. If the objetive was to make them tankier or for a hard mode idk, would be fun to fight against a horde of fast and buffed enemies. Just wanted to make a sugestion, the mod as a whole is a legit remaster of the game and could not be done better

    Love seeing bumblebee get a taste of his own medicine at the beginning. Speaking of bumblebee, wth is his secondary? The texture looks weird asl lol. Also itd be super nice if you made a part 2 of cut features demonstrated the ones shown in this video, but individually. Will we be playing as drones? Will shockwave have an improved camera?

      The texture thing is actually a model difference. For some reason on PC, all of the normal projectile models are missing in High Detail Mode, with no way to restore them. (they're fine in Low Detail Mode) But there are some prototype models leftover which I've made load only when playing High Detail Mode just so something is fired from guns instead of just smoke.
      No drone gameplay at the moment, though that might change in future. Shockwave is playable, but only has an improved Robot Mode camera. It is possible to fix his vehicle mode camera, but it involves Shockwave completely overwriting Blackout in the game, which I can't do for this mod.

    Holy shit thos tow truck drones. I hate them so much in old game, now they become more powerfull, wht a nightmare...

      Yes i remember playing the game in 2014 with my uncle's son we both tried to defeat him but no after hours and hours we realized bulkhead can throw something to him and then destroy him what a amazing game my favourite game

    I love playing this mod! Well done, but is it possible to play as these new drones?
    If so please tell me how, I know how to change and swap vanilla characters for others (Replace Barricade with Bonecrusher for example) but I'd especially love to play as the blue elite autobot drone and the early/beta deceoticon DroneDefault, and I don't know how.
    I'm not too bothered about using their special abilities, I'd just like to play as them. Thanks!

    wait a minute... if I remember correctly... at one point didnt you give some of these guys special abilities?
    like the forklift drone could jab his arm forks into you and electrocute you?
    and the tow truck drone could use his tow cable to latch on to you and pull you over to him like scorpion's GET OVER HERE!!!

      That was an old video showcasing unused special abilities leftover in the game. Most of them weren't functional in normal gameplay but there was enough to show how they would've looked. (Sadly the ones you are referring to fall into that category of being non functional in normal gameplay.)

      All of the drone designs in this video are based on their original concept art designs made for the game during early development.

      Indeed they are, but that's kind of what I was aiming for. Making each drone a unique challenge for different reasons.
      (Though you should see older versions of the elites, these guys are far less OP by comparison. The older versions were straight up impossible at times.)

    I also notice that you changed some of the weapons of the drones to make some of them more unique and make them more engaging in long range firefights. However, I wonder why you kept some of the generic drone missile weapons for the truck and tow drones, as they have a low fire rate do pathetic damage.

      I generally wanted to keep at least one instance of all normal weapons from the game, and decided TowTruck was strong enough as is so I let him keep the default Drone Weapons. The normal Truck Drone spams his machine gun secondary weapon far more, so he's quite deadly at range as is, so I decided that when not using his Secondary his Primary should stay the same so as to balance him out a bit.

      @@DigitalArctic I also noticed that you gave the Car drones laser-like projectiles that were left unused in the final build of the game. Also could you give the Jet drones a secondary weapon other than the short-ranged flamethrower, maybe add the missile launchers that they use when they are knock out of their flamethrower ability phase.

      ​@@bionic-tale4313 Afraid not at the moment. I actually tried to give them missiles before but sadly it messed up their Special Ability so I disabled them. (Special Flame spams both primary and secondary at once from both hands. It's why the flamethrower is used as his primary and secondary. So if missiles are loaded as a second weapon type, it weakens his special and wrecks the flame thrower effect.)

      @@DigitalArctic OH, that's a shame. I thought it would make this type of drone more challenging at longer ranges, since outside of the flamethrower ability they're very easy to take out from longer ranges due to player guns now being more effective in this mod. Since their weapon of choice has very limited range. Plus like you said, they can't be given any other range weaponry without screwing up their special ability. I guess one can only dream right?

      @@bionic-tale4313 Perhaps one day a method will be found to separate his flamethrower from his normal weapons, as something similar already exists in the game. Megatron does not have a flamethrower weapon loaded, yet can use his Special and ranged weapons separately just fine. While that's very far out of the scope of a lo.dat edit, it may one day be possible to replicate that for DroneMig.

    @Digital Arctic I have a question regarding this masterpiece, is it goin to be possible to play as Ratchet in the final version?
    Because I do have a better playable version of him in my modded game, using the animations I managed to make a (sightly) less horrible version. If you are at least interested in knowing more, I am at your disposal, even in Discord if you might.

      Well, Ratchet won't be playable, but mainly due to limitations of him sharing another characters creature type. (I can load every character in the game, even unused ones, without replacing anyone, but the sacrifice is that attributes like Run speed and such can't be changed. So even the least buggy animation set would still look a bit off.)
      So because of that, Ratchet won't be playable. However... He will be a boss\ally in the mod, as even when he's controlled by ai, I can more strictly control how he behaves through custom scripts.
      I'm sure your mod is cool too, but personally at the moment I am satisfied with Ratchets current status in the mod, and don't think I need to change him too much. (At least not until custom an3 files become a thing and we can give him brand new animations.)

      @@DigitalArctic Excellent, it is indeed quite buggy to be honest, and of course a better execution would be as a Boss or an Ally.
      Regardless, if you could tell me the way to add creatures without replacing current ones I would most certainly appreciate it, mostly due to my desire of having each character to be playable (nothing important).

      There's a trick you can do by putting alternate CHARS cfgs in different folders, and then editing one level's creatures.cfg to load that folder with the alternate cfgs instead of the normal ones. That way you can make one level load a different character using that creature type, while the original character would still appear in other levels.

    Have your ever considered making them a different color so people don't mistake them for basic enemies?
    Like making the "elite" Swindle drones blue? (Since he was blue in early stages in the game)

      The mod already does that the best it can. I gave the Decepticon Elites all of the original concept designs which changes all 7 Drones, while the Autobot Elites all use oddball designs leftover. (But in their case some of them just use their vanilla design due to the uneven number of unique designs per Drone Type.) The exception to both is Cybertron, but only because the game is incapable of loading unique designs per Drone Skill Level there, so everyone just uses the Elites designs instead.

    Hey digital Arctic in the city for both autobot and decepticon
    I want to add drones on the streets and not on the rooftops like TowTruck, Forklifts and dronedefault
    I try to add them in the Auto5hub but they do not spawn don’t know why consider it is at the Global and i have the drones loaded in
    Also either they hit the drone limit

      I'm afraid you're out of luck, only the Decepticon version of City has a Hub Street Drone Spline. (Which 2.0 already uses, it's why Autobot Drones in 2.0 sometimes spawn on the street and not always the rooftops, while Decepticon Drones never spawn on the street in The Last Stand.) This can't be worked around, as no other spawn spline covers enough ground as to spawn Drones all over the City streets, the existing splines are all centered around specific blocks on main st.

      @@elitemaxtheman2217 You'd have to disable the rooftop drones entirely to do that more than likely. Too many modules used there that you'd need for each spline you just mentioned. (A good place to start for copy pasting data though is the Energon Drone Hub modules for Pre A5C1, as they use those splines to spawn them in the Hub)

    How to replace Swindle's model in the game and make him red? I'm very interested in.

      It's done through a texture edit in the 2.0 mod. (The mod loads different versions of the drones in different levels.)
      If you wanted to load the Red Car Drone in other levels in the modded game you can copy paste his ghg file from 2.0 so that it replaces all other ghgs. (Look for Drone_Robot_C and Drone_Car_C in 2.0's DRONE folder located within CHARS. Then just create a bunch of copies that share the same name as the other Drone_Robot_ and Drone_Car files)
      To add it to the vanilla game you just need to copy the same files (plus Drone_B_Transform.ghg) and paste them in the vanilla games Drone folder. Then edit the DroneDefault.cfg, DroneDefaultCar.cfg and the DroneDefaultTran.cfg to load Drone_Robot_C, Drone_Car_C, and Drone_B_Transform respectively.

      @@DigitalArctic Oh, one more question. Is it possible to make drone to climb with the animation? Because I've made it but he does it with static pose and when he jumps on roof he's messed up as I added him Bumblebee's anim. It's efficient but sucks in visual.

      @@captain_harb01 There is no usable animation to make Drones climb normally. You can make them use an animation not intended for climbing, but as you say it doesn't look good. Characters can't use animations made for other characters either, hence why you can't just use Bumblebees animation without it contorting the model horribly. The models are unfortunately just too structurally different from each other.
      The only technical way of doing it, would be to mesh import a Drone model over another character, but then you wouldn't be able to use any of the Drones original animation files either, only the animations from the character the mesh replaced.

      @@DigitalArctic ye, that's unfortunate. But, for example, can I put the anim of falling (not jumping) instead of climbing? And I suppose that there's no anim for climbing over as with other animations he just can't jump on roof.

      I found a way to make creatures load with different models and animations on a level by level basis. So there aren't technically "more" drone types, but rather the original ones are loading different files in each level.
