if you ledgedash with the ledgejump option, you will NOT have invulnerability during the waveland (it's also 8-10 frames slower depending on character). you have to drop from ledge > double jump > waveland for invuln. even this method does not give you galint, but you can safely get shield up before it ends
@@PixelBBee Honestly man the production quality was great! The only thing I think you could add to this video would be some timestamps so viewers can easily revisit certain tech!
@@PixelBBee I'm looking forward to that! Subscribed as well. Would you say all the videos in your channel would give me a full understanding to the game's mechanics or are there some stuff still missing for a complete beginner to platformers ike myself Edit: typo
There is a "walk mod" button in this game you can use to make dash pivot into walk very easy! Instead of having fine control over the stick, you can just press the walk mod button the same time as the turnaround. I just tried it, and it's very easy to do consistently!
@@ungabungaofficial6175 I'm using a controller that has an additional R3 and L3 on the shoulders. I've been using L3 for walk mod! I think if I were using a GCC, I probably wouldn't be able to find a spot for it, though.
This video is very informational and well produced. Seeing that you're new to producing content, may I recommend that you adjust your Audio Sample Rate and / or Bit Rate settings in your recording software? Maybe adjust the attack and release in your vocal compressor? This might help with the clicks and pops. I remember struggling with that when I started making content, so don't be afraid to make some adjustments, check a recording, and adjust some more until it's smooth. Best of luck with your channel, and have a good day 😁
Thank you for your suggestion! I was noticing the clicks as well but thought they might have been artifacting from the video editing process. I will take your advice and try messing around with the sample/ bit rate settings. Hopefully I can get that all sorted out by the next one!
sorry for the nerd brain but correction on 1:01, nick brawl 1 also has this. otherwise good video! i was kinda taken aback seeing the last one in action
No need to be sorry! Nerd brain goes hard. 😂 I didn't play nick brawl 1 so I thought RoA2 came up with the idea. Thank you for the correction and also the kind words!
Like in a video? If you want it in text, it's when you use the momentum of your jab to boost your tilts. This means while you are performing a jab, you press a tilt to retain that momentum while throwing out said tilt. Hope that helps!
When I got on ranked for the first time a ranno was doing slingshot special reverse movement all over me and I knew I wanted the smoke from this game. 😭

That's a good bit of information! That's really cool and rewards those who go for the harder input. 😮
Dude you need more views STAT. Literally the only semi-comprehensive guide on RoA2 tech I've seen so far. Kudos man.
Thank you! I am still new to making content so I hope I can bring some higher production value and more in-depth knowledge for y'all!

I'll add some chapters to the video, thank you for the suggestion!
As someone new to platform fighters, learning these mechanics are super helpful, thanks for this video :)
I am glad to have been helpful! I'll definitely keep trying my best to deliver useful content. 🙌

low key you didn’t hitfall a single time in the hit falling section… you have to hit down while rising! great vid tho
@grahamstuard 💀 omg you're right. I'm on fraud watch for that one. 😭
Hope your channel grows keep up the good work
I appreciate it. I hope I can keep y'all informed and entertained! 😀
Good video but if I have 1 critique I think that if you do another video like this next time you should add chapters. Subscribed.
🫠 crying in the club cause I thought I added them to the video. Thanks for letting me know that isn't the case!
content is good enough that i'll forgive the clickbait-y title. appreciate the information density and minimal pre-amble
Haha! Gotta rake in the views some how! I tried to give useful information mixed with some general info I do think is relevant to learn. 🙏

I forgot about that function. You're so right tho. The walk mod makes it incredibly easy!!!
What do you set walk mod to?

this video contains an inaccuracy. taunt tumble is NOT entirely exclusive to Rivals 2. you can do that in Nick All Star Brawl 1 as well
Thanks for the correction, I was informed by a few people that was the case. My bad. 😅
nice video everybody should know these tech but you did not mention moon walk imo its a good tech and cool movement
Good call. I may be writing a follow up for 5 more movement techniques 🤫
Please mention babydashing!
You got it! Next guide I will. 🙌

Can you explain what tilt boosting is?

@@PixelBBee so is that basically just cancelling jabs combos into tilts?
Yes! You can see a lot with kraggs at top level but it can be helpful for all characters
Would of been a lot more helpful if you showed examples and inputs a few times after explaining so people know what its supposed to look like.
This is a good point! I'll see about adding the input view next time. That or just edit in the inputs over the heads of the characters.
man I mostly played smash 2014 against low level bots so when I get this game I'm cooked lol
