I think MKG may because he’s only 28 and he’s a good defender I think he can play PF and some small ball center edit and in his last full season (18-19) he shot 41% from 16-3P and 34% from 3 those spots was a combined 24% of his shots

Dion's career derailed fast due to injuries, fitness problems, certain types of substances.... but also tbh, I think part of his problems came with his playstyle and on court attitude, the whole "0-30 than 0-9" stuff. The guy acted and put up shots like a superstar when he really wasn't. His shot selection was pretty bad most of the time, his defence was pretty blah, kinda a ballhog, and couldn't really fit into a limited role on a good team comfortably. That said, Waiters Island was gas when it happened.
Oh yeah, MKG...yeah I mean, you can find plenty of players with his skill set who can also not shoot the ball like they've just learnt how arms work.

Well, not everybody is going to ascend to nba stardom. MKG at UK was 🔥 but figured he’d be a role player in the league. Once i saw how broken that jumper was, and how timid he was going to the cup, i thought he’d be out in no time. He’s lasted longer than i thought. Dion had good offensive skills, and if he could get out of his own way he could’ve lived up to where he was picked, but that attitude plus injuries, he’s about where i thought he’d be by now.

I find a very surreal that every NBA player that's being hyped up to be the next big thing usually either does well or gets thrown out very quickly due to their lack of discipline and focus on the game itself. Similar to boxing you have to live basketball you can't full around and just expect to be great when you're not putting your 110 percent focus on your skill and talent.
