My daughter has disabilities. Her caregiver asked me today if she was registered to vote. I said yes, to which the caregiver replied “Good, because we need all women to be voting since we are facing such a threat to women in this election”. First off, she made a huge assumption that she’d vote for Kamala simply because they are both women. Secondly, this confirmed for me that a lot of people who provide care for the disabled community attempt to sway them into voting for the liberal platform.

Celebrities have a right to their opinions just like regular folk. They are also allowed to verbalize if they want. The only time it bothers me is when it is used as an obvious attempt to sway their fans into voting a specific way. Their opinion is no more valid than anyone else's and frankly they don't really live in the real world.
Yes, this is the way 100% of all celebrities ruled until the last 20 years or so, which only makes sense. But now, there is no loyalty towards fans, only an extremely, grotesquely bloated ego, and a delusional savior mentality deriving from it. After all, their fans have already got them sitting on a mountain of money, who needs more?
I’m glad they are stepping out of the celebrity checklist of being brainwashed, the one brainwashing or being scared to express opinions in fear of being cancelled. I was also NOT expecting Usher to give such an honest answer but I am glad he did 😂
Great answer Caitlin. I want a country that is respected, I want leaders that enforce its laws to protect Americans, I want a country who respects its military and families, I want leaders who enforce our constitution, I want leaders that work to keep services and prices of products affordable to all American families, I want leaders who can give all this and still reduce taxes. Guess who America will support?
@@lacquerdredd The problem martinc is exposing is with the hypocrisy of the left, who pride themselves on being tolerant, but are extraordinarily harsh against those who don't agree with them. The right as always been about calling a spade a spade, and standing against wrongs.
What I find interesting, is that TAYLOR SWIFT released her professionally written statement saying she supports Kamala Harris and will vote for Kamala Harris...but she did not tell her fans to vote for Harris...she told them to do their own research and vote for the candidate they think is best for them...all of the Left Media called her a GENIUS for that. Now, USHER was on The VIEW and unlike Taylor who released a statement, he said in person that he supports Harris and will vote for her, but, because he did not go on a Donald Trump hate rant and TELL black people to vote for Harris, the Hosts of The View seemed quite uncomfortable. Even Whoopi immediately after he spoke made comments saying that celebrities who don't publicly speak out against Trump on their platforms, are just not strong...not built like that...which seemed to be throwing SUBLIMINALS at Usher. I just think there is a problem with how black celebrities are treated and how white celebrities are treated with regards to politics...White celebrities are allowed to tell their fans (who are mostly white) to make their own decisions as to who they want to vote for...black celebrities are EXPECTED to tell their fans (who are mostly black), to vote for the Democrat Candidate...anything less than that, will draw ANGER. I find that VERY DISTURBING.
I dont think people expect him to vote for Kamala because she’s black, but because the media has labeled Donald Trump as a ‘racist’ and it seems like any black person to vote for Trump will be disowned by their black community. I don’t know where it even came up that Trump is racist, just another made up propaganda lie by the democrats, but there is definitely a stigma made up against Donald Trump. They say that he’s anti lgbtq, racist, sexist, and anti American. How can someone be all these things and be president 😂 it’s just not true.
There used to be a time when it was impolite to talk about religion or politics unless you were among close friends. So at work, social situations where people don’t know each other well nobody talked about it. Celebrities weren’t asked about politics either because it was considered rude. I miss those times😢

This was before this declaration about Trump... I thought it was legit, meanwhile Joe Strummer died daydreaming about Sandinista and being a flavorless pastiche of Manu Chao.

Oh, I thought you were about to tell me she was a trump supporter and that we needed him to help protect women's spaces/rights! Now I realize the TRUE meaning of your post. She wants babies being murdered to be possible. That's pretty sick and pathetic.
Unfortunately
I know this from experience. And I allow it to happen. Because I follow the rules. I can't influence my clients in any way. It's their right to vote for whomever they choose.
But kamala is the biggest threat to women , so maybe they were pro trump

Celebrities have a right to their opinions just like regular folk. They are also allowed to verbalize if they want. The only time it bothers me is when it is used as an obvious attempt to sway their fans into voting a specific way. Their opinion is no more valid than anyone else's and frankly they don't really live in the real world.
Maybe these artists simply realized alienating half of your fans/customers is a bad way to make money and be successful.
I was also NOT expecting Usher to give such an honest answer but I am glad he did 😂
I like listening to Amala because she is rational and fair and articulate. No hate or ridicule of others. It's refreshing.

Only the moderates and centric are tolerant as always. Far left and far right have never been tolerant.
@@lacquerdredd
The problem martinc is exposing is with the hypocrisy of the left, who pride themselves on being tolerant, but are extraordinarily harsh against those who don't agree with them.
She didn’t write that… you people so funny😂

Taylor doesn't have to tell them who to vote for. They will do whatever she does.
That's enough for her fans
I dont think people expect him to vote for Kamala because she’s black, but because the media has labeled Donald Trump as a ‘racist’ and it seems like any black person to vote for Trump will be disowned by their black community. I don’t know where it even came up that Trump is racist, just another made up propaganda lie by the democrats, but there is definitely a stigma made up against Donald Trump. They say that he’s anti lgbtq, racist, sexist, and anti American. How can someone be all these things and be president 😂 it’s just not true.
Why would Elton John need to endorse anyone?? lol he’s from the UK.

When you say "they deserve their astronomic salaries" you are also saying without noticing that ordinary people deserve earn significantly less.
The only reason is that capitalist system progressively reward profit over anything. These extremely wealthy "celebrities" and extremely wealthy individuals on general are exactly like what aristocratic class was in the past. Nothing really worth millions or billions. Money is a human ficction too.

You're meaning it in the sense of "practicability" or "usefulness" to society but that's not how things get their worth valued on.
