We got to see the Bean Stock 2.0 at the Overland Expo in Pomona, CA (3/16/24). Quality is unmatched by competitors by far. The simplicity of this model fits us since we love the extra interior space by moving a cooking setup to side-mounted tables. We ordered ours with that option. Now we wait like overgrown kids waiting for Santa to bring our shiny new bike...except we will drive out to the North Pole ourselves on our sleigh (Subaru Outback Wilderness). Thanks for the solid review.
really liking this...We've researched bigger more expensive trailers and been afraid to buy since so many have issues. But the small, simple, easy to pull...I'm really interested. Also, the bigger campers, you just don't feel like you are doing an outdoor/camping thing when you have all of the comforts of home--I mean, why bother leaving home then...
We are looking at the bean Stalk 2.0 for our first teardrop trailer. I like everything about it. One of my questions is how hot does it get inside during the summer time. Is the Maxx fan enough to keep it cool for sleeping? We plan on traveling out west form NY. Also great review.
We have used ours in 100° temps and it was warm. We had the fan going and the doors open. If you are going for extended periods I would add the a/c unit.
I wonder if they can install an exterior outlet for a generator or shore power from campgrounds to connect to. That little battery is not going to do for a desktop gaming PC or game console to run. I'm not even suggesting to install an inverter, because some people may already have their own power station that can connect to a generator, shore power, and solar to charge from.
Nice video, question, is it Bean Stock or as the title of the video say, Bean Stalk? While I like the simplicity of the propane tank holders, I do believe D.O.T. requires a safety cable additionally, which would be simple to add.
@@anthonypanepinto9685 not much because when you get you gear loaded inside. But with the overalll weight being so low it is better to have the hitch weight. If you figure 10-15% hitch weight that is not much weight on the vehicle. Thanks for watching.
There is a ton of space for storage because the entire area that would be a galley is open space inside the trailer. You just need to use bins or a drawer unit or something.

We had the same anticipation waiting for our bean.
Update: pickup on 9/4 is coming soon, excited to the max over here!

@@jeffs-zw2zb thanks for watching. We love Bean trailers.
That’s a lot more doable for many people. Go Bean!
For sure. Especially with keeping most of the amenities.
Is the frame aluminum?

I liked your review. Since you have an older one, your perspective on the changes and quality was helpful. Thanks!

very nice video - due to inherent mistrust of people ... I'd be worried about easy theft of the stuff on the rack, any thoughts for that?
The metal box I think had a locking latch. In the end if someone wants to steal your stuff they will and that just sucks. Thanks for watching.

Very nice video review!! Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it- is a/c available as an option?
@@theoutdoordad7395 I know you can on their other beans so it might be an option.
I’d like to panoramic windows! Will make the camper feel less cramped! And stand on fenders!

@@BB_usmc yes it has shore power hook up
The fridge how’s it plug in and what about dirt and mud getting all over it
There is a little plug built into the tray area. Supposedly it can handle the elements. 🤷♂️. Thanks for watching.

I have seen it both ways stalk and stock I will double check. I have been wrong before.
The logo on the side says bean stock. It's a play on words.
Could the front platform be used to carry a smaII motorcycle?
I don’t think it is that strong. I wonder if Bean could modify something for you. That would be sweet.
I live in Oklahoma. It gets really hot. I couldn't imagine a camper without climate control. That would be my only draw back on it

I see the bean squared. How tall was it?
Trying to remember but I think Kara hopped up inside and stood just fine.
Is there an option for propane heat?
@@cjmutschler I know they do in other models but I am unsure if they do on this one. We have one on our Meaner Bean and love it. Thanks for watching.
@JauntJunkies Thanks for your prompt reply! I don't really understand folks offering electric heat in an off-road trailer.
@@JauntJunkies What did the price tag end up being on your meaner bean?
What size pelican box was the large one?
I want to say 6’.
Have to say that this option seems better for me here on the east coast even with the pelican option.
Love the simplicity of this Bean.
Great video.
Do they have them with tents on top?
You can get a roof rack and a rooftop tent. Thanks for watching.
@@JauntJunkies it's great thnx for sharing!

If you have it equipped with the brackets yes. Thanks for watching.

Good review. Still over priced, if you want any of the items showed you still have to pay like 25k. So its 16k for just a bed, still over priced.

1) Where is the Bathroom ?
2) Can you stand up to put your pants on?
